The work closes with a chapter on yoga: the eight limbs from restraint and observance through posture, breath-control, withdrawal of the senses, concentration, meditation and absorption, followed by the subtle channels, the coiled power at the base of the body, and meditation on the syllable oṃ. The final verses record the teaching-lineage through which the work itself was handed down.

In the supreme Śiva — who is free of space, time and all such limits, whose nature is pure consciousness alone, in the void where the five causes (material, inherent, efficient, motivating and auxiliary) have been dissolved, and which is thus without any support — the yogī who, with a steadied mind, withdraws all his senses and settles his self therein easily attains the fruit of yoga: a state ever-manifest and utterly free of activity.

She who, embodying half of Śambhu's form — a form without beginning or end — eternally brings forth both the form of the universe and its venerable Vedic speech; she, Śaṅkara's bride, possessed of true meaning and bent low by the weight of breasts laden with the meaning of words: may she, for our prosperity, become the one who quells the whole flood of sorrow born of worldly existence.
