Ritual Act
Gṛha Bandhana

A tantric home-protection procedure, typically performed via the Argala Stotra during Navratri, that installs consecrated nails, agate stones, and sacred ash at the corners and doors of a house to bind and shield it and its residents over a prolonged period.

Sealing a cleared house: havan, Kshetrapal nikari, Jayanti Mangala bandhan, Argala ahutis and consecrated nails
The speaker says that once the disturbance had stopped, an auspicious time came in which the most special procedures were done by the family. The full method of a Havan was explained to them item by item and they performed it themselves; a Kshetrapala Nikari was done; then the house was bound using the Jayanti Mangala Kali mantra itself; the house was secured with ahutis given with the first mantra of the Argala Stotra; and with the same, nails were consecrated and driven in. He does not claim an old problem can be solved by such simple means, but says these new Sadhaks worked very hard and as a result their family is safe today.
Clearing a space of all energies before consecration
The speaker describes the one use of Loban for driving things away. When a house is to be bound and holds many negative energies — satvik and tamasik together, or tamasik alone — gandhak, loban and hing are mixed with certain other herbs and burned over apamarg wood. The whole place empties: no dev shakti stays, no Preta or pishachik shakti; it becomes a nirvat in which only Parabrahma Parameshwar, Jagadamba herself, remains. Only then are the shubh satvik energies invoked — with shankh dhvani, lighting kapoor and so on — and given their place.
Raal in Tantra: its names and use for sthana bandhan
Tantra uses Raal too, the speaker says, under the names Ashvakarna, Kasya, Dhoop Vriksha, Surya Dhoop and Sarja Dhoop. It is described in many kavachas, and in the Renuka Tantram there are mantra vidhans for pleasing the form of Bhagavati Chhinnamastika whose dhuni is done with Kasya or Ashvakarna dhoop — that dhoop is raal. When dhuni is done with it while reciting those mantras, Sthana-bandhan takes place: the shubh shaktis come easily and the ashubh ones flee.
Binding the house with the Navratri havan ash and offerings
The speaker says that once the Kalash has been shifted, anyone who wants to do a bandhan of their house takes the ash of the havan they did, the barley, the flowers offered on Ma over the nine days, the supari and whatever else was offered and kept, ties it all in a red cloth and, at that very time, ties it at the main door.
Timing of house bandhan after nikari: bind before the emptied house is re-entered
The speaker says that when the Bhairav Yantra was installed in the family's home, awakened and established as they had been taught, its effect cut away a great many things. He gives the rule behind it: when you do Nikasi (nikari) of a house, the house becomes empty; after that, reckon 24 hours, or 12 hours, or 12 hours to 12 days, and the thing comes back. Before it returns, the Bandhan of the house must be done, such a prayoga that negative shakti cannot enter the house again.
How an abhichar-struck family recovers: punya udaya, the right helper, tantra-kaat, palatna and griha bandhan
The speaker says that when a good family that had deva-kripa and worship is bound this way, the whole family's Prarabdha is being cut — the sooner one accepts this the better — and a time comes, after one, two or five years, when someone in the house has a punya udaya and decides to learn these things and do them properly; he will wander, get knocked about in ten places, and some day find the right person or the right means. Such a person, who knows the kaat kriyas of tantra, first tells the family which prayogs were done, how long it will take, what vidhan they must do and the state of their deities. Then each member's body is cut free and protected and the whole tantra is reversed (Palatna), even if for a day — but if the enemy is rich and keeps paying for bhog and liquor, his tantrik at once reverses it ten more times, so the helper fights the tantra war according to how much trust the family gives him. Once things are removed he sets the family on its feet: this is how you worship at home, a Griha Bandhan is done, the puja of their own shaktis is taught, sadhana and havan in Navratri, a Shakti Peeth yatra, and he also posts his own ganas — even bhoot-pret of his own chowki — as a guard. Slowly the energy of the house returns.
Scope of the Hanuman Badvanal Vidya: siddhi methods and prayogas
The speaker says Shri Hanuman's Badvanal Vidya is so vast that it cannot be squeezed into a few words. He says it has a brief siddhi method and an extended one, each giving a different level of effect, and that the siddhi method and the Prayoga method are separate matters from its benefits. He lists the prayogas it has: against Abhichara, for an old pishach dosh, for freedom from debt, for curing disease, for Griha Bandhan and for Kavach protection, each with its own vidhan.
Powers after siddhi of Badvanal: kavach for others, griha bandhan and destroying bhoomi dosh
The speaker says that beyond the benefits already listed, if a person attains siddhi of this vidya, Badvanal contains such vidyas that he can make a Kavach and the like for another person as well. He says Hanuman grants the capability to do Griha Bandhan and griha rakshan, and to stand in a Bhoomi Dosha where the biggest pret or pishach is present, for example land under which a bone is buried; if the anushthana has been done properly and Hanuman's grace obtained, the person himself becomes able to destroy such a bhoomi dosh.
Where should the danda of Bhagwan Dattatreya be kept?
The danda of Bhagwan Dattatreya may be placed at the entrance of the house, the main door, on the inner side or the outer side — at such a place that there is no problem in its being seen, that whoever sees it does not carry it away; you may fix it that high. Daily dhoop, deep, kapoor and the rest; and as for the vidhan of its use, how and what is to be done, he says he has told it in an earlier live as well, at length — listen to it once — as to how the special niyams of the danda of Bhagwan Dattatreya may be used.
What should be kept in the pujan on Dhanteras?
Coriander should be kept in the pujan, and rock salt should be kept in the pujan; after that you use it. It is used in the binding of the house. The speaker refers listeners to the older videos and to the whole Diwali playlist, where all of this is described in great detail.
How is rock salt used where there is a vastu dosha?
For those whose vastu is bad — the nairitya kon needing to be heavy but being light, or something amiss in the ishan kon — the use of rock salt in this pujan helps to some extent. The rock salt is simply kept in a bowl and offered, nothing more. Then you tie that same rock salt in a white cloth and hang it in the direction in which the vastu dosha lies. To some extent the negative energy diminishes somewhere, and the vastu becomes balanced, as it were, for some time; you get an opportunity to have some correction made, and good sense comes.
What else can block such an entry into a household?
The second thing is that either Bal Hanuman ji or Batuk Bhairav ji is worshipped there, so that the tattva connected with them is present. If a man is a crorepati but has never once given an ahuti in Batuk Bhairav's name, has never taken his name, and the shri vigraha or temple is out of the question — then, the speaker asks, from where will these things be stopped? They will not be. Everything has its own science.
What is the third adhyaya of the Saptashati used for independently?
The third adhyaya is for the slaying of Mahisha entirely; so whenever a negative shakti goes into a house and becomes established there, then those shaktis are removed by using these mantras.
What follows the ayudh pujan on Dashami?
It is done before the paran; on Dashami too it can be done in the morning, but since it is Ram Navami it should be done at midday on Ram Navami. When the kanya pujan and the rest are over, do it in the evening, around two or three o'clock. And on Dashami, after performing this vidhi, if the bandhan of the house is to be done then we will do the griha bandhan, and after that, performing the visarjan vidhi and the rest, we will do the visarjan.
How much kavach japa is needed before a griha bandhan?
For a griha bandhan, the speaker says, first at least five thousand or eleven thousand japa of the kavach should take place; only then should it be used, and then the whole house is bound with firmness. Doing it oneself involves considerable expense — the expense comes to about a tenth of doing it yourself, he says, so you may as well do it yourself.
Can a household binding be performed during the sadhana?
No — the two cannot run together. Whatever binding of the house or threshold is wanted should be completed on Makar Sankranti before the sadhana begins, not begun midway through it.
Griha bandhan with the samputed Vajra Panjar Kavach: 108 paths at home, seven days of Datta havan and kshetrapal nikari
After the family got relief, the speaker says, the prayog was started in the house itself for binding it: with a sankalp for griha bandhan, 108 samput paths of the same kavach were done at home, along with a havan of 108 ahutis with the Ekakshari mantra and Bhagavan Dattatreya's naam mantra, run for a full week, all seven days. With this the house became completely protected; the process of kshetrapal nikari and the like was also done. He calls the whole vidhan very simple, with nothing complicated in it — done slowly, it gives you the capacity and gets done.
Alongside the Kartik preparation, control should begin to be established over whatever disturbance is already present in the house.
Along with the preparation, he says, one thing more must be done — begin establishing control over whatever problem-related disturbance is present in your own house. He addresses this to those who have at least been with the channel since Chaitra Navratri and are performing anushthans themselves, not to new listeners.
Which shaktis, when, how, what to avoid, and how long the effect lasts
How is it to be done, which shaktis should be used, when and how it should be done, what should not be used, how long whatever we employ stays effective, and when its effect ends. He says protecting the house after knowing all these subjects is what is necessary.
Why has this knowledge fallen out of use in households?
He says the elders of a house formerly knew this subject very well and performed a great deal of it very correctly. Today, in families that are strong in the sense of being highly educated, that modern strength makes them unwilling ever to accept that processes of this kind can exist at all.
What happens when the subject is neglected for decades?
Because of that refusal, the coming and going of negative shaktis becomes easy, and slowly the thing takes such root that afterwards, however much barrier you put up and however much rakshan prayoga you do, ordinarily it does not work. He says this is especially so if the matter has been completely neglected for fifteen, twenty or twenty-five years.
Is a rakshan prayoga by itself enough to make a house safe?
No. He says it is not necessary that a place becomes safe only because we perform some rakshan prayoga there; it also matters what that house is like — whether some devi tattva has already been present at that place, whether it has been a sthan of shaktis, which may be either positive or negative.
What should be done before buying a piece of land?
He says that whenever you buy land, you should have the shodhan of that land done before buying it. In whatever city or region you live there will certainly be sadhaks who can tell who is present there by looking at the soil, or by going there, or nowadays even by seeing the place over a video call — they ask your address and send their own siddh items.
What if the negative energy on a plot cannot be removed?
He says that if some negative energy is present there, one should also discuss whether it is possible to remove it or not. And if it cannot be removed, then do not buy that land — take it as written, whatever your circumstances, even if you are a crorepati today.
What is the first mistake people make when buying property?
He says the first slip is that when buying land, if we hold crores of rupees of property and crores of rupees in hand, we think — what is it, such good property — and people very often hear a warning and disregard it, saying nothing of the kind will happen, everything is fine, that must be someone's delusion. And so you take the property.
What if the house already exists and abhichar is being done against it?
Having completed the house, he turns to the next case: suppose the house is already built, everything is in place, and a prayoga is presently being run against it. In what manner should the bandhan of the house be done, and what should be done how.
Does using a shakti for griha bandhan bind the householder to rules?
He raises the doubt people have: whenever we perform a prayoga of the house for the sake of bandhan, a suspicion may arise that if we use some shakti we will have to observe some niyam for its sake — and what those niyams might be.
What happens to a house left with no bandhan at all?
The very first point, he says, is that if you do not do griha bandhan and leave the house wide open, and you have enemies who are active and performing abhicharik activity, then the likelihood of their abhichar succeeding a hundred per cent becomes greater and greater.
What is the first survey to make before a griha bandhan?
For griha bandhan, he says, you should first see how many rooms the house has. Each room — or, if you do not go by rooms, then at least how many corners the house has in the eight directions, the four directions and the four corners, and what place is in each.
Does binding a house with shaktis cause a loss of energy?
He takes up the special question of whether, when we employ shaktis at a place for rakshan and do bandhan, any kind of energy loss occurs. He says a thought often arises among people that if we give a shakti a place we will have to keep giving that shakti food, bhog and water — and answers that something has to be given separately only if you have done something very particular.
What is required in the ordinary vidhi of bandhan?
If we go by the ordinary vidhi, he says, nothing has to be done separately here. Whatever puja you perform at the puja sthan, whatever havan you do — yearly or whenever — from that you will keep obtaining all things; that place will remain awakened, conscious and protected, and the negative shaktis will remain expelled from there.
Why does a bandhan fail in a house with an ancestral hatya dosha?
He says that if in your house there has been such a person, or such an event occurred in an earlier time — a killing by some ancestor of your family, a dosha of that kind attached, or people of your own house who did tantra-mantra and caused the loss of others' lives — then when you do bandhan, know clearly that if a pap karma of yours has risen such that it must be undergone, small mistakes there will be looked for.
Does the sadhak's later state affect a bandhan done with purashcharan?
He says that as soon as you become negative, or make an effort to decay yourself, its energy too will decay. But if at the time of doing the bandhan you were conscious, very positive, and did the prayoga after a proper purashcharan of those mantras, then what your condition becomes afterwards has nothing to do with it — it only needed to be exactly right at that time. Without purashcharan, its effect will be as your own state is.
What is the ark prayoga for griha bandhan?
Or, he says, the use of ark, that is of juice — such as nimbu, or akvan, or a twig of apamarg wood that is still quite wet, that is, not dried. When all these are squeezed, ark comes out of them; those arks too are made abhimantrit, and with them we perform griha bandhan — but for that the four directions, the whole of your house, must necessarily be open.
Can the absence of a griha bandhan cause difficulty in sadhana?
Yes, he says, difficulty in sadhana can absolutely occur. If there is no bandhan of the house, anything at all will come and go easily. Suppose our sadhana is not yet so awakened, you have not done very much sadhana, that kind of energy has not formed — then now and then it will also happen that as soon as your chandra bal weakened, or you reduced pujan-paath in the family for some time, negative energy will enter the house easily.
How does an afflicted visitor behave near someone who does regular seva?
If you do a great deal of positive seva and pujan-paath, he says, and the person before you is afflicted by prets and pishachs, then there will be agitation in their mind, restlessness; they will want to run away, they will do awkward things, they will have no wish to stay — whether it be a woman or a man. But where some such shakti is in their body and they had felt restless earlier and now feel peace by sitting near you, that is a different thing again.
What does Bhairav deepdaan do to a person's aura and to the house?
He says that as their capacity increases, by Bhairav deepdaan your aura will become sharp and the energy of your house will increase very well. The place will be entirely emptied of the heap of negative energies that lies gathered there.
What does a visitor standing on your threshold after an eclipse mean?
The fourth thing: after a grahan someone comes and stands for a long while upon the chaukhat of your house, or holds the chaukhat and talks, or talks standing at the main door, refusing every invitation to come in and sit or take tea — saying no, this is fine, it feels a little hot, a little cold. Especially if his left foot is placed on your threshold and one foot outside, the speaker says, know it a hundred percent: his work is going on there. He puts the chances at ninety percent that some kriya of theirs is running.
Why should Batuk Bhairav sadhana be done after Ganpati?
After that, for the protection of the house and family — because tantra, abhichar and the like have become a whole category of processes — and for the destruction of that, and for the nivritti of doshas known and unknown that have formed, do the anushthan of Bhairav ji, of Batuk Bhairav ji, in the house. Everyone should certainly do the seva puja of Batuk Bhairav ji. Any kind of obstruction that has become stuck, that will not move at all, goes away merely by the sadhana of Batuk Bhairav ji, and many kinds of sins are destroyed.
What else should be done to secure the house?
Keep your house and place bound. Keep the kavach and everything else worn, and only after that do pujan path and the rest. In between, go on doing havanatmak kriya, Kshetrapal pujan and the like.
Should dhoop of pigeon droppings be given in the house?
Told of an astrologer who tells a sister to give dhoop of pigeon droppings in the house, and that she gives it with guggul and camphor, he says to Anil ji, without offence: you do so much sadhana-puja, and it is this pigeon dropping that is doing the work of smearing over that sadhana-puja. If tantra is being done, then in a household he explains clearly: this kind of vishtha tantra is used for a house that is empty of human beings — where people have left for two, four or five years, where there is no dhoop-deep even once a year, where the house is closed even at Diwali and Holi, so that when they come again, in that empty house the presence of pret-pishach has formed. To empty such places this is used, and sukar vishtha, mushak vishtha and bidal vishtha are used. Not in a house where the householder is already living and the devi-devatas are already present.
What is the importance of the Brahm Sthan of a house?
The speaker says the Brahm Sthan carries very great importance — the name of the place is itself Brahm Sthan. In the picture of the Vastu Purush, the Brahm Sthan is the navel portion; and as the navel of any body is its most important limb, from which the bharan-poshan comes, so the Brahm Sthan is the navel of your house. If it is nourished properly, the house will develop properly.
Why do knowledgeable practitioners advise against Griha Bandhan during Shravan?
Because a binding takes hold of some power, and if that power is present in Shiva's service at the time, its own order is broken by being drawn away. It is not forbidden outright — the counsel is to keep the movement of powers to a minimum this month.
Complete the Siddhi within Shravan and perform the application in Bhadrapada
Shravan Purnima is fine, as is the following month of Bhadrapada, which carries a power of its own. The clean division is to complete the Siddhi of a mantra or Kavach during Shravan and perform the application — protection, Griha Bandhan or anything else — in Bhadrapada.
Why does health worsen when I do tantra kaat remedies myself?
When we do tantra kaat ourselves, why does the body get spoiled, the speaker asks — because the place in which we are living is itself afflicted by tantra badha. If the place where you reside is itself girdled about by some kind of tantra, then where will health benefit come from? Therefore, if you are doing it yourself, japa and the rest should always be done outside, in a temple or a Shakti Peeth, or at Ganga ji, so that you get the greatest benefit; and when that state has been reached, then you may do it at home.
What if a tantric visitor defiles the house?
If ever you feel the energy there is falling very low, the speaker says, listen to the lives one by one: the whole vidhan is told there, of how a bali of a coconut is to be given at the threshold or where the trishul is fixed. It may happen that some tantric person came into your house, and seeing it his mind went bad — so he is showing himself a great knower, wait, we will show him — and he did something in the house, defiled the house, defiled the threshold, and afterwards seated his own things there. You will understand at once: if you are a sadhak you will understand within the night that something has happened, you will begin to feel unsettled.
Can such a person do this even where a griha bandhan has been made?
The speaker says the whole vidhan is told of what to do if you have made a bandhan of the house with a tantric kalash, with a keel, with a trishul or other material, and then someone comes into the house and does such a thing. His full energy will not run, but even so, because he has made the things siddh and has entered inside the house, he can indeed do it — there is such capacity. He gives the example he has given several times, of a jinn baba who had come: the jinn was simply not entering where they were. Much effort was made, the address was being given — in this address; and we said, being new then, what is he doing? We did not know that people with jinns do such things.
What is the first thing to do for a household full of disease and loss?
For a household where there is wealth and grain and property but everyone is diseased, afflicted by many kinds of illness, where loss of wealth keeps happening and land and property keep being sold and the loss does not stop — the first thing in Shravan, he says, is what he always says: whenever loss is to be stopped, distress and disease to be stopped, tantra vichar to be stopped, there should be a Chaukhat in the house. Establish the chaukhat in your house first, and after that sit down.
Should an outside Tantrik be allowed into the house in these days?
No Tantrokta Anushthan should be performed inside your house by an outside person in these four days. Your own Guru coming and doing it is excellent, or one in whom you have blind trust — but a new person, or someone who bears you malice and knows the procedures, will absorb his own energy there and interfere.
What should a woman troubled by tantra-mantra and evening fear do?
A listener writes that she remains troubled by tantra-mantra, that she does puja but wants a permanent upay, and that fear begins in the house as soon as evening falls. In such a state, he answers, you should meet at the very least one qualified tantrik, some knowledgeable person nearby, and first have the house set right, have it examined, have it seen what the condition of the house is, and have the removal done accordingly. Nothing will come of telling an upay, he says: you are asking for a permanent upay, so permanently you will have to have it shown and have those things done.
More than half a household's problems have their solution hidden in the chaukhat
Remember, he says, that your house will be safe: more than half of your problems have their solution hidden in that Chaukhat. The capacity to stop every kind of tantra is in the chaukhat.
A tantric kriya turned in reverse stops at the threshold and never reaches you
That place, he says, is such that its effect will not fall upon you. If in a tantric kriya anything is done in reverse, it will stop right there. But for this, he says, your chaukhat must be strong.
Where should the Bhairavi Kavach be fixed, and which shloka recited for the paduka?
You can fix the Bhairavi Kavach on the main door, on the upper side — in a flat or in a house, fix it above the door. And for reciting a shloka, for the puja of Bhagavan Datt and for the paduka pujan, the stuti that is Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu and so forth is the most excellent.
How long does a kshetrapal nikari hold, and what must be done after it?
In a kshetrapal nikari, the speaker says, this thing is removed for three days. It has been taken as three days up to thirteen days, but by the third or fourth day things begin to turn back. So in the three days' time you get after the nikari, the house's complete and proper tej bandhan should be done, giving the kshetrapal puja again and again, and the thing should be stopped and its bandhan performed.
A gift to a dark-complexioned bride, for her use at her own wedding, is the second remedy.
The second thing, the speaker says, is that whenever the marriage of some friend of yours is taking place, or of some girl among your acquaintances, relatives or neighbours, who is of a dark complexion, then give her — according to your capacity, to the best of your ability — some article that she will use at the time of her own wedding. If she uses it in the marriage, you will get a very swift effect.
What do recurring dreams of small children indicate?
Where they recur, perform the Bhagavati Kali procedure the speaker has given — the worship performed at a Kali temple — and afterwards do the Nikari of the house and bind it. If you cannot do it yourself, have it done by someone.
A bandhan laid at the family's own deva sthan binds everything at once, and is done by insiders
The next process, the speaker says, is doing such a bandhan at the very place of your root deities that a comprehensive bandhan of everything occurs. And the people who perform this process, he says, are people from right inside the family — those who have complete coming and going, sitting and rising in your house. Extremely hostile people.
Where in a house are such things placed?
He is not saying today's prayogas are of that high an order, the speaker says, but there are processes of this kind, and they may be done near someone's chaukhat, inside the chaukhat, at the brahma sthan, beside Tulsi ji, or at deva sthans of this sort. Because it is by the divine energy inside our body that we walk and speak and laugh and play — and the more that energy decays, the more we stoop, the weaker our viveka grows, and the more negative we become from within.
What are the signs of uchchatan laid on a house?
If the chaukhat of the house and the rest has been bound, the speaker says, uchchatan is felt: everyone feels like running away somewhere. There is no wish to stay at home. Outside, at a friend's house, at school or college, at the office, in the market, the mind is very good, calm, happy, health also all right — but as soon as one comes inside the house, as soon as one crosses the chaukhat, it feels like what on earth has happened. Fighting for no reason, abuse for no reason, taunting one another for no reason; they keep running away from the house, there is no peace, a strange uchchatan stays there.
How does one protect a house whose members have no shraddha?
The sadhaks who have shraddha will do the protection of the house, the speaker says; the members who hold ashraddha will sit quietly. If they make too much fuss, do their puja first and then your own. The unbelieving ones are surely suffering too — it is not that they are happy and only the sadhak with faith is in distress. So explain to them: sit well, in peace, you have nothing to do, let us do what we are doing and it will be protected. If they do not agree, do their puja-aarti first — what else is to be done. One person is trying to save the house, and they will not even let him.
What is the positive side of tantric bandhan?
So far they have looked at the negative side of tantric bandhan, the speaker says; the positive bandhan is the bandhan of suraksha. Your house should be bound. The chaukhat should be protected by positive shaktis: morning and evening seva of it, deepdaan there for Narasimha Bhagavan, deepdaan for Kul Bhairav and the kul shakti. There is also the process of giving bali at the chaukhat — keep it strong with the bali of lemon and coconut, keep it strong with the bali of jaiphal. So that if someone does do a tantra prayoga on you and you reverse it through Mahabhairav, Vamati Kali or the Janjira, and the other person is sitting ready — come, you reverse it, we will reverse it too — no ill effect of his reversal falls on you.
A physical kavach on every family member, havan with every prayoga, and special pujan after success
There should be a kavach on the body of every member of the family, the speaker says — a physical kavach, not only the tantric-vidya kavach, because if someone breaks that, things go wrong. Let a physical kavach be on everyone's neck, everyone's body bound and protected; if they do pujan-paath too, that is best. Then let there be griha bandhan and the protection of the chaukhat. Be strong first, then do these processes, and after doing them do Bhagavan Shiva's pujan and havan. Whenever you do a tantric prayoga, do havan without fail — at the time of the prayoga havan multiplies the strength of the shaktis thousands of times. And after the prayoga succeeds, do the special pujan of the deity for that purpose; from this no dosha attaches.
Somebody has done a tantra kriya in the house — what should be looked at first?
To India Vikas ji, who says a tantra kriya has been done in his house, he answers that very many remedies have been told and asks him at least to look at the channel once and then certainly to ask if he does not understand. Whenever a tantra kriya has been done in the house, the first thing is whether it has been done only on the house or whether it is on the members — whether it is on some one member or whether the trouble is throughout the whole house.
How is the Kali kavach awakened with havan and satvik bali?
Then, the speaker says, perform a havan with the mantras of Bhagavati Kali and Bhagavan Sadashiv, offer bali and bhent — a satvik bali, whether of lemon or of coconut — and doing all that, awaken the kavach completely, and then have the father wear it. He adds that the bandhan of the house and so forth should also be done.
Three-step griha keelan with a sidh mantra: gandhak dhuni, yellow mustard, keels with nimbu bali
Within shatkarma, the speaker says shanti karma includes raksha karma — the bandhan of the body and of the house, preceded by the nikari or utara of the body. If one has sidh-ed a mantra for griha bandhan — of Hanuman ji, Kali ji, Gorakhnath Baba, a mala mantra — the lemon has its finest use at the time of keelan. First empty the house with a dhuni: gandhak (sulphur) dhuni on a lit cow-dung cake is best, and all negative energies leave. Second, charge yellow mustard with the binding mantra at least 5 or 21 times and sprinkle it through the whole house. Third, charge keels with that sidh mantra and drive them in — say three at the main door by the threshold, in the ground before or behind it — and give one lemon bali on each keel without fail; with that the griha bandhan is complete.
Griha devata and kul bhairav balis after the keelan of a house
To make the house stronger, the speaker says a bali is given in the name of the place's deity — meaning one's own griha devata, not whatever deity happens to stand near the premises: give the nimbu bali at the threshold in the griha devata's name, place the two halves on either side of the house and burn kapoor on them. A second bali goes to the kul devata, the kul bhairav, if Bhairav ji is worshipped in the family. If this process is carried through, he says, the house becomes completely bound.
The nimbu bali as the stamp on a bound house
The speaker says how firm a griha bandhan is depends on the capacity of the mantra with which the sadhak did the bandhan and keelan; the lemon process is the stamp — once the nimbu bali is given after the binding, the stamp is affixed that the house is bound, and no negative energy can enter; it becomes a strong bandhan. The same method, he adds, can bind the room of a sick or troubled person, and binding with a nimbu bali is the best way of all.
How is a house protected where negativity is already present?
The first thing is to weaken that negativity — to render its capacity void — for which the prayoga of the eleventh chapter of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is used. After that comes the Chaukhat in the house, and then the binding of the house along with the Chhidrapal Nikari.
The threshold rite of the kul havan: kush and mango leaf, five tilaks and the two lamps at the main door
The speaker says the house is cleaned a day before and the prayog begun with a firm Sankalpa, at the main door of the house, or in a rented house at the door where one's own boundary begins. The door is wiped with a cloth soaked in Gangajal. A mango leaf with its tip cut off is bound at the back with at least three Kusha, dipped in Gangajal and hung exactly at the middle of the door; it is marked with Mahabiri Sindoor mixed with ghee, and five tilaks are made on the Chaukhat in the Kuldevi's name. Facing out of the house, a Chaumukh Deepak lamp of mustard oil is lit on the right for the kula's protector Bhairava and one of sesame oil on the left for the kuldevi, each set on a little Akshat or flowers, never on bare ground.
How should one do the bandhan of one's own house?
Asked how to do the bandhan of the house oneself, he says it has been explained on the channel. The best thing for householders is the bandhan of the house by the mantra related to the Argala; its information has been given there in full.
Can one pray to the devatas that no one may look into one's house?
Asked whether, if one prays to the devi-devatas that no one be able to see into our house, it will happen so, he says it will depend — you will have to be a sadhak of that level, and only then will the thing you are speaking of be possible.
What may such a person do for himself?
If you can do it, and wish to do it yourself, and the trouble is very great, then there is a video on this channel related to Bhagavan Narsingh — how the Narsingh kavach is to be used, how one is to protect oneself and the house by it. Do the forty-one day anushthan of that and see. Do not leave it in the middle; the whole vidhi-vidhan has been told, so apply yourself and do it well.
A new house is built but the havan and griha pravesh have not happened — how to do keelan and protection?
Sumant Sharma ji, he says, it is exceedingly good if you have the keelan of your house done by some capable sadhak. If you wish to do it yourself, then in the place where you now live do the anushthan of the vidhan of the Argala that has been told to you, and — by the vidhan that has been told, of how the trishul and the rest is to be made abhimantrit — having done the abhimantran by that vidhan, you can do the keelan of your house.
Why binding the house alone cannot stop a prayog carried across the threshold
The speaker says that after the first incident the family asked him what to do so that the attackers could not do it again, since it was clear they would come back, and in India no one confronts an enemy directly by saying you did it; if that happens it is straight to blows. He told them that however many systems one binds and sieves the house with, when the attackers walk right inside and cross the dehleez, the chance may be a little less and the prayog's effect a little weaker, but there will still be an effect. So he told them to do the pujan of a prachand shakti on the dehleez itself, and gave a vidhan he calls the first and very simple one, which anyone may do and whose effect is very sharp and intense.
Dehleez raksha vidhan: Saptashloki siddhi, Kaal Bhairav ekakshari japa, samput path over a copper lota, and the water poured on the threshold
The vidhan the speaker gave has three parts. First, siddh the Saptashloki with 7000 Japa; the sadhak did this over six months, from Sharadiya Navratri to a little before Chaitra Navratri, though it was complete in three. Second, at chaitra-navratri take the Ekakshari bija of Bhagavan Kaal Bhairava, the single bija only, and do 1.25 lakh japa, extended to 4 lakh so that the bija became prachand; the sadhak already wore the Yajnopavita from his wedding and did proper sandhya with the Gayatri updesh of a good acharya. Third, from baglamukhi-jayanti, do the Samput path of the Saptashloki with that ekakshari bija, by the samput method on the channel, holding a copper lota of water with Gud, a few red or rose petals and a little rose ittar, praying that the house be fully bound, the dehri sealed, Bhairav ji's guard set on it, and any outside shakti that crosses it to do harm be destroyed and punished by him. A traditional Sabar Mantra with tantric pranav and bija, which he shared privately and does not give here, then sets the charged water in motion; it is poured on both sides of the dehleez, alongside the regular dehri pujan and the atta-deepak.
How should japa be begun where there is negative energy in the house?
The speaker refers the questioner to two or three videos on the channel about how to do japa and tapa when negative energy is present in the house. In outline: how it is first to be done in a temple, then how the chaukhat pujan is to happen, how the nikasi is to be done so that no untoward effect falls, and then gradually you will do your japa in the house. The greatest problem in doing japa at home is that if negative energy is present its upheaval increases.
What is the role of the kshetrapal here?
If they are worshipped in the form of a kshetrapal, then you should certainly give the kshetrapal's pujan on the first and the last day — because it is by their pujan alone that the purification of your whole house occurs. If anyone sends any thought and the like into the house, it is by the kshetrapal that it is stopped and sent back. They are the chief ones.
What if the boundary of your town is not fixed?
Look, the boundary of a town does remain fixed, the speaker says. By town it is not necessary that you take the whole entire city — you may take the boundary of your own mohalla as well. A boundary does remain; there will not be such a thing as one without a boundary. Look at the map; see the boundary in it. And if you cannot see even that, then look at the police map — a kotwali does have a boundary; wherever your kotwali's boundary is, from there you may do it.
How a house is bound with Muslim tantra: inscribed iron nails buried at every corner
The speaker says the family had also shown the house to Muslim maulvis, who could do nothing — at most they would have puja done at a dargah, take money and do ten kinds of things in the house — and had in fact bound the house with Muslim vidya. In Muslim tantra vidya, he explains, there is an iron nail on which mantras are written in Urdu; it is made siddha in various ways and then buried in every corner of the house, and that is how this house was bound (Griha Bandhan by Utkilana). After that binding, the family's experience was that within six or seven months even the small channels of income for daily bread closed completely and the havoc grew; no relief came, and in the end those people raised their hands.
Sign of Muslim tantra: dreams of being fed cow-related forbidden things
The speaker says the sadhak mentioned, two or three times, that the afflicted members of the family repeatedly saw cow-related forbidden things in their dreams — someone feeding them such things in the Swapna. From this alone he felt it must be some Muslim tantra and, though the family was still not disclosing everything, he told them that some such thing could be there and prescribed a use of Gomutra in a particular way. The sadhak never used it, because he already knew what was in the house but was not telling the whole story; only after the dream visions did he tell everything and ask the speaker to look into it, and the speaker found that what was described matched — 'such and such things should be with you' — which the sadhak confirmed, adding that no tod (counter) was to be found.
Durga 108-names siddhi with daily havan in Navratri, and verifying the result afterwards
The next vidhan was for Navratri. The speaker says he told the sadhak to do the siddhi of the Durga Ashtottara Shatanama — the 108 names — by the siddhi method given on his channel, beginning the path and doing Havan; the one thing he had him do was a havan every day. For all nine days, through Navami, there was the full path and havan, and on Navami morning Kanya Pujan. The sadhak said that for the first time in his life he saw an anushthan completed: from Pitr Paksha to now no possession had come on anyone. Only occasionally did someone start speaking very loudly or feel the body stiffen, but it settled fully; and many bad dreams came in between, almost like threats to stop, which only strengthened the conviction that the right thing was being done. After Navratri the speaker told him — since he had earlier shown the case to many local readers — to show it again to some local reader and satisfy himself of what level the thing was at; they told him that the Muslim thing that had been in the house was, for now, nowhere to be seen, it had somehow been removed. Whatever happened, he says, was by divine coincidence and Bhagavati's kripa.
Free the pitr first, then weaken the Muslim thing: the Varah-tusk gomutra prayog
The speaker says he shares this experience to show that whatever you do does bear its full effect, but the method has to be changed a little. Once you know clearly that the Pitr are in Bandhan and a Muslim thing is present, the first task is to free the pitr from bandhan — and no single method of bandhan-mukti can be applied everywhere: where a Muslim thing is involved, something must accompany it so that the effect of that thing is reduced. Here two or three such vidhis were done, including a Varah prayog: a boar's tusk was made abhimantrit in cow's urine, Kusha was tied to that tusk, and Gomutra charged with a special mantra was sprinkled in the house. He will not reveal that mantra — it is best given only to the one who needs it; some things must stay secret. All of this weakened the thing, though it was old; but the decisive factor was that everyone in the house was mentally strong, all supported each other and all did the puja, path and havan properly. Quarrels and strife certainly happened and it was not a peaceful time; he kept motivating them: do it, do not give up now. By Bhagavati's Kripa the house has been much at peace since this Navratri, things have become gentle, and special sadhanas have been started again.
Batuk Bhairav Jayanti falls on the same day as Ganga Dashehra, and a house without Batuk Bhairav is not fully protected
On that very day, he says, is also the jayanti of Batuk Bhairav Baba. For nearly two years he has been urging listeners to give Bhairav ji a place in the house and to do the puja-path of Batuk Bhairav ji, because without Batuk Bhairav a house is not fully protected.
Every house without a place for Batuk Bhairav should perform his sthapana and pujan, and give Bhagavan Bhairav a place
He closes by saying: all of you certainly do the Ganga ji snan; and in whosoever's house there is no place for Batuk Bhairav, perform the sthapana and pujan of Batuk Bhairav ji in your house. All of you give a place to Bhagavan Bhairav, to the kula Bhairav. Abandon being frightened of them; abandon people's prapanch.
What is the sprinkling remedy for a house with pret-pishaach badha?
One small piece of work may also be done, he says, drawing attention to it: in front of you, in the evening, water is to be kept in a copper lota. Into it are to be put five kusha, a tulsi patra and a little honey. After that you will do this paath, and that same water is to be sprinkled in the house — especially and in greater quantity above the doorways. But only those should do it in whose house there truly is the badha of pret and pishaach, where there is very great trouble and no way out is being found.
Where is the Kshetrapal bali left, and what follows the nikari?
Water should be taken along in a clay glass, and the whole thing placed at a crossroad or a little distance from the house. Before entering the house again, wash your hands and feet and change your clothes. It is a very great thing, he says: from Kshetrapal's pujan much peace is obtained in matters of pret, pishaach, vichar and tantra, and only after the nikari should the process of bandhan in the house be done.
Limit of house bandhan: a visitor carrying charged tantrik items inside
The speaker says that however well you secure your house, if a person walks in carrying something after having such kriyas done, the bandhan no longer works as it should, and trouble begins. In this case the relative brought the tantrik along as "a friend", gave some excuse for the visit, took tea and water like any normal guest — and a devotional household treats every guest as God, so nothing was suspected — and then left, having shown their rakshas nature inside the house.
What a mother must do before taking up ugra tantrokta sadhana
For a married woman who already has a son or daughter and is going fully into the Tantrokta path with an Ugra shakti that requires pujan at a chauk or Chauraha, the speaker says the first thing is that her child must be old enough to no longer drink her breast milk. Second, before advancing in tantrokta sadhana she must first do the protective sadhanas for a long time: making a Kavach for her children's safety, Bandhan of the house for its safety, and protection for her husband. Their protection is necessary, he says; only after that does she take up such tantrokta sadhanas or pujan.
Should one take up two different mantras across the two nights?
No. Whatever mantra you wish to do japa of, whichever mantra you wish to perfect — one you have already practised, or a new one — do its full japa on the night of 6 March. Do not fall into greed and think that since two nights are available you will do two different mantras. Make one single mantra as intense as possible, doing its japa on the night of the 6th and on the night of the 7th as well.
When and where should nails removed from a griha bandhan be disposed of?
Do it at the time of Holika: take them out and throw them on the 6th, and at night do nikari and then the bandhan of the house. As for where to put the keel — since it will have been installed at your own wish, after taking it out carry it to some such place of theirs, wrap it in white cloth with white sweets, and make kshama yachana, because you are the one letting it go and you were the one who brought it. Or if you wish, they may be put in a pond, a river or a lake. Do it on the day of Holika itself, early in the morning.
What must be done after the keels are removed from a house?
After removing the katua keel, do the bandhan of the house properly by the vidhi of Mahavir Hanuman ji. Before doing the bandhan, prepare both panchagavya and panchamrit and thoroughly purify the whole house with the mantra of Bhagwan Narayan — using the Pundarikaksha mantra and the like. After that do the kshetrapal nikari, and only then do the bandhan, so that nothing of theirs remains standing there.
May a griha bandhan be done with the Hanuman Chalisa and lemon and cloves?
Asked whether the lemon-and-clove griha bandhan can be done with the Hanuman Chalisa, he answers yes, absolutely it can be done; he has already given the vidhi.
What should be done at Holika if tantra has been used against a house?
He tells the questioner that the vidhan for what to do on that day if tantra has been used is given on the channel; the vidhi-vidhan runs for two days and she can take the benefit. Two videos have been put on the Siddh Sabari Vidya channel, and she may hear either one and do what she can. On this channel too all the videos are there — how to do nikari, how to do the bandhan of the house, how to do things safely.
What must be done after the masan utara?
If this kriya is done, there will be immediate benefit; and after doing this utara one must then do the bandhan — of the house and of the body too. The vidhi of doing the bandhan has also been given on the channel. If it is very urgent or is not understood, he tells the questioner to speak on the phone once and he will have it written down and explained.
What should be done at Holi where abhichaar has been performed on a house?
He says many upayas have been given for Holi. For the destruction of abhichaar and for protection in all these matters, first of all do the bandhan of the house. When abhichaar is done upon a house: perform the utara from the bodies of the family members and send it to the Kshetrapal, send it to the Holika; at that same time do the bandhan of the house; and put a kavach upon the bodies of the family members. From this, he says, 50% relief will be obtained, in that when a new abhichaar is done it will not be so effective.
Why must the griha bandhan be done in any case?
The griha bandhan should certainly be done, he says, so that at least an obstruction arises: if the other party projects tantra, it should not be that he gets a completely open field, goes right inside, has a quarrel started and a fight break out. Let him too meet a little obstruction. This much can be done. And there is no difficult vidhi here — the vidhis of Hanuman ji and of Bhairav ji are ones a man can do comfortably.
