What is Chowki Bandhan, and how can it happen to a practitioner who binds a lower power without enough eligibility?
Binding a lower power or spirit — even under the name of a Veer or Bhairava — requires a maintained discipline of Shiva mantra chanting and honoring the agreed offerings; without sufficient accumulated energy or a capable Guru, encountering a stronger opponent can lead to chowki-bandhan, where a practitioner's own protective altar deities are bound or driven off.

The speaker says the Brahm Sthan carries very great importance — the name of the place is itself Brahm Sthan. In the picture of the Vastu Purush, the Brahm Sthan is the navel portion; and as the navel of any body is its most important limb, from which the bharan-poshan comes, so the Brahm Sthan is the navel of your house. If it is nourished properly, the house will develop properly.
What if a tantric visitor defiles the house?
If ever you feel the energy there is falling very low, the speaker says, listen to the lives one by one: the whole vidhan is told there, of how a bali of a coconut is to be given at the threshold or where the trishul is fixed. It may happen that some tantric person came into your house, and seeing it his mind went bad — so he is showing himself a great knower, wait, we will show him — and he did something in the house, defiled the house, defiled the threshold, and afterwards seated his own things there. You will understand at once: if you are a sadhak you will understand within the night that something has happened, you will begin to feel unsettled.
Can such a person do this even where a griha bandhan has been made?
The speaker says the whole vidhan is told of what to do if you have made a bandhan of the house with a tantric kalash, with a keel, with a trishul or other material, and then someone comes into the house and does such a thing. His full energy will not run, but even so, because he has made the things siddh and has entered inside the house, he can indeed do it — there is such capacity. He gives the example he has given several times, of a jinn baba who had come: the jinn was simply not entering where they were. Much effort was made, the address was being given — in this address; and we said, being new then, what is he doing? We did not know that people with jinns do such things.
What should be done if the neighbours keep casting nazar on the house?
Asked about neighbours casting nazar, the speaker answers: do the bandhan of the chaukhat. Install a yantra of Panchmukhi Hanuman ji and the like upon the chaukhat — if nazar is falling upon the house again and again.
