About OccultGuide
OccultGuide is the only structured, attributed, English-language online index of what living Hindi-speaking occult practitioners actually teach — organised by question, traced to the exact source, and editorially governed by someone with no stake in selling you a remedy.
How OccultGuide works (for users)
OccultGuide is designed to help readers enter difficult topics in a more structured and responsible way, by organizing topics through a structured knowledgebase, which contains snippets of the original source videos, so we can GUIDE you TOWARDS the reliable sources.
Attribution and source use
OccultGuide does not try to replace original creators, teachers, authors, or source material. Its role is editorial: to summarize, connect, and guide readers toward deeper source-backed study while preserving attribution as clearly as possible.
Our AI guides people towards reliable Sources of Occult information.
Our AI does not teach Tantra. All it tries to do is to point users to reliable sources of "public" / "private" information, it uses sources of information we have found to be reliable, and clearly cites the sources in its discussions. If the questions are outside its scope of knowledge, it clearly says so, and then recommends to contact the source if possible.
It is intended to be a tool to list relevant pieces of information from multiple sources for a single query.
Source use principles
What OccultGuide uses
- • Short excerpts where appropriate
- • Summaries and editorial notes
- • Source references and source pages
- • Linked pathways back to original or deeper material
What OccultGuide does not claim
- • Ownership of third-party teachings or source material
- • That summaries replace original context
- • That every source agrees with every other source
- • That a source-backed note is the same thing as the full source itself
Where attribution needs correction or improvement, or where a source owner has concerns about how material is represented, OccultGuide welcomes contact and review.
Human writing, AI assistance, and review
OccultGuide may use AI to assist with drafting, structuring, summarizing, and formatting, but the site is not intended to be a dump of unreviewed AI-generated text. Almost ALL sections are handwritten based on sources, and revised, or heavily edited with editorial judgment in mind.
- • page framing and introductions
- • clarifications and cautions
- • section transitions
- • final editorial summaries
- • FAQ answers and trust-sensitive text
- • chatting with users and pointing the relevant source
- • structural drafting
- • language cleanup
- • rewriting for clarity and consistency
- • preserve context where possible
- • avoid false certainty
- • distinguish summary from source
- • reduce confusion before adding depth
- • prefer usefulness over sheer volume
We understand how shallow AI responses can be, and how dangerous following AI's recommendations blindly can be, even for simple things, let alone for extremely complicated things like in Tantra. As of 2026, AI by itself bears no responsibility for its responses, and does not accept blame for its mistakes, even if explicitly prompted about the deep implications of its responses. This is why, to create this site, AI is being used as sparingly as possible - to enable searching of relevant concepts.
What OccultGuide is not
We are not Gurus, we are not sadhakas. OccultGuide is made by one software engineer who wishes to bring fairness and acccess of correct knowledge to the field of Occult - probably the most misinformation-filled and most unprofessional field in the whole world.
Clear boundaries build trust. OccultGuide is meant to be a responsible guide into complex topics,
not a substitute for everything else.
Not a final doctrinal authority
The site does not claim to settle every interpretive, lineage, or philosophical disagreement. Some topics are genuinely contested, and the site aims to preserve that complexity rather than erase it.
Not a replacement for original teachers, texts, or source material
Readers should not treat a topic page or summary note as equivalent to the full source, the original text, or a living teaching context.
Not merely AI output published at scale
OccultGuide is not intended to be a mass of generic machine-written content. The site's value lies in structure, curation, attribution, editorial synthesis, and guided navigation.
Not a claim that all traditions say the same thing
A major part of responsible topic design is preserving difference. When sources or traditions diverge, the site should help readers see that clearly.
Risks in the Occult Space
Before we tell you what we do, here is what is already happening in this space. Each risk below links to where it's documented, not guesswork.
How other platforms defraud you
Tactics already documented in this space, named plainly so they're easier to recognize.
AI Applicability in Occult
All users are going that way. By 2036, AI based niche guides will be the "primary" way that millions of people access knowledge. While most people in this field will remain stuck to the ways of the past, there is a genuine need to keep up with the times.
AI has the structural capabilities to assist sadhakas. AI is capable of restricting information based on user profiles, and is capable of informing the content creators also about which users are accessing which information, using a multi-layer permission system - all the capabilities required to restrict knowledge based on various factors.
AI will never be a guru, but it will be a great assistant. We predict that AI based Tantra Gurus will become the mainstream "gurus" of traditional knowledge by 2036, even including "secret" knowledge passed by traditions in sects, even though it will never understand / feel / or originate the knowledge itself - it will always be dependent on real accomplished Gurus and serve as a helping hand. This is a fact, and facts will not change based on discomfort. Our ways of living will have to adapt.
Partnership with Sources
Decades of actual human experience is required before someone becomes capable of providing accurate knowledge in any field, and the line of "Occult" is really tough, because it requires not just information, but also it is a set of actions.
We are providing an intelligent software based framework to streamline the flow of knowledge - to millions of people (at mass), each getting personally relevant information (relevance) at the correct time (reminders), alongwith the actions based on usage of that information.
So for example, while publicly available information will be distributed publicly, private information will only be distributed privately, and will be based on each sect's individual preferences. Ease of finding "deep" information, guiding users towards higher levels of information based on previous activity, information of specific tasks to do / participation in anushthanas based on upcoming Tithis (filtered based on users needs / previous queries, previous anushtanas done etc.), reminders for various tasks, structured chats with content creators based on level of information accessed and anushtanas performed etc.

Look at OG as your "assistant" - helping you serve your community better - in ways that were not possible earlier. Please reach out to us via the contact link in the footer.
Structured discovery, not random exposure
Your work is surfaced inside topic pages, concept flows, source-backed notes, and entity links, so readers find it in the right context.
Visible attribution and source respect
OccultGuide is designed to point readers back to the original creator, source page, and deeper material instead of erasing the source behind generic summaries.
Your knowledge becomes easier to enter
Many readers never begin because topics feel too dense or scattered. OccultGuide helps them enter through beginner paths, key questions, and source-backed summaries.
Context is preserved better than in isolated clips
Instead of floating disconnected quotes or clips, your ideas are placed inside a wider topic map so readers understand what the teaching relates to.
Editorial caution builds trust
OccultGuide is designed to distinguish editorial summary from source material, which helps both creators and readers trust how the content is being presented.
Better long-tail discoverability
Your content can surface not only through your own title, but also through related concepts, practices, deities, questions, and topic clusters readers are already searching for.
AI and Copyright Issues
Many creators and media companies argue that using copyrighted works to train AI without a license is infringement, perhaps rightly. Based on current legal frameworks and recent, ongoing litigation, courts are currently debating whether this constitutes "fair use" or "fair dealing". The Delhi High Court is currently hearing ANI v. OpenAI, which will determine if training AI on publicly available content without permission violates Indian copyright law.
Our current understanding:
- If an AI model "regurgitates" (reproduces) content that is substantially similar to its training data, it can be found liable for copyright infringement.
- While style cannot be copyrighted, if an AI mimics a specific artist's style to the point where it competes directly with the original creator, this is being challenged as infringement.
Our way of working:
- Our AI model does not "regurgitate" / reproduce niche based content. OccultGuide is structured as an intelligent "indexing" service, which deeply understands user needs and situation, and then points them to a reliable source of information if available. We are like a "personal" niche search engine. We are an intelligent facilitator passing the knowledge of original creators / sources the way they want to.
- Since we always guide users towards the original sources, we do not compete with the content creators. Rather we are trying to provide a harmonious environment so that both public and private Occult knowledge can be protected and promoted as well. Our service helps creators to be able to pass on ever-deeper knowledge, including complex issues, which giving at a public platforms like youtube is not feasible. Our intelligent information-control systems slowly guide action takers / sadhakas step by step towards such deep knowledge.
- We do not claim to be Occult gurus / knowledge experts. We are software developers providing an AI guide to sources of reliable Occult Knowledge, and provide software based facilities around that flow of knowledge.
- We are open to ideas and partnerships. We are looking to enrich the Occult Hindu ecosystem, and providing selective information, on demand, at scale, and wrapping it in software based followups and actions.
