What sadhana helps in obtaining a guru directly?
For someone seeking to obtain a guru directly, the speaker recommends worshipping Bhagwan Dutt (Dattatreya) and reciting his parayan as far as one's capacity allows.
Secrecy of mantra, sadhana and puja-sthan, and the one qualified guide a sadhak may consult
The speaker says the rishi-munis repeatedly insisted that the mantra, the sadhana, the puja-sthan and which puja one does all be kept secret, and that a confused Sadhak consult only his marg-darshak and Guru — one mature, qualified person risen above these situations, not every third person met through a Facebook post, who may help today, misadvise tomorrow and tell ten others. Telling an experience diminishes it; the more it is hidden and display avoided, the more Tapo-bala grows. Whatever shakti was going to favour the sadhak weakens when he tells, so sharing is only with a guru or qualified sadhak to move forward, never for honour — the right stance before others is that one does nothing but ring the temple bell and light a lamp.
Who should do the Dattatreya ekakshari mantra vidhan?
The speaker says every sadhak should do the vidhan of the Ekakshari mantra of Bhagavan Dattatreya, and especially those who have not obtained a Guru and have not received a mantra from the mouth of a physical guru. Such people, he says, step onto the sadhana path and go straight to the sadhana of Bhairav, Kali, Durga and the Mahashaktis; instead their first sadhana should be Dattatreya, the samyak form of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, accepted as guru, and this ekakshari vidhan should certainly be done before walking the path.
Past the middle state, remaining in dev seva with guru kripa and walking by guru adesh, abhichar is seen for what it is — and for a sadhak it is very beneficial.
Crossing beyond that middle state and reaching a correct state, where you remain in the service of your deity, obtain guru kripa and walk by guru adesh — then the matter is different. One should not take too much burden on oneself. That is the state to go to, and then the effect of abhichar is seen for what it is: for sadhaks, it is very beneficial.
Worn on a silver chain, a yellow thread, or gold if means allow — this becomes a guru sadhana, and should be the first of one's life.
You may wear it on a silver chain, or you may also wear it on a yellow thread; and if your means are of gold, of swarna, then you may have a small golden khol made, beautifully, with Om and the like written on it, put this into it, and wear it on a gold chain. Doing this sadhana, the speaker says, this became a guru sadhana — and this should be the first sadhana of one's life.
First sadhana without a guru: kula parampara, else Dattatreya, then Ganpati and Bhairav
For the initial sadhana, the speaker says: if there has been a guru parampara (Guru Parampara) in your house, if anyone has been initiated or has been a sadhak, then do it according to whichever parampara they belonged to. Otherwise, the upasana of any Mahashakti, or of Bhagavan Dattatreya — the guru-form, whom he calls the most capable guru in the whole world, the divine guru — and after beginning with his sadhanas, then go on to Ganpati sadhana, Bhairav sadhana and so on, doing all these things one by one.
Making the guru mantra chaitanya and securing oneself before going further
When a guru is found, the mantra he gives is to be made Chaitanya. If none is found, take the shelter of some Mahashakti as guru — Guru Dakshinamurti, Bhagavan Dattatreya, or any form of Bhagavan Shiva — and worship them in the guru-form. Do five Anushthanas of the guru mantra of sava lakh each, performing them over the course of a year. Then in order do the anushthan of whatever other mantra is to be done — of Bhagavati, of Hanuman ji, of Bhairav ji — and of a raksha Kavach, so that you first make yourself fully secure.
What should a new sadhak do first of all if he has a guru, and if he has none?
We say again and again, he says, that when new sadhaks go to do sadhana and begin, if they can do guru sadhana then that is best of all. If there is no guru at all, then get your janm kundali examined by any jyotishi — tell any jyotishi to look at your birth chart and tell you in that way.
What if a person already has shraddha in a particular form?
If you have shraddha in some form — as he himself keeps shraddha in Shiva ji — then close your eyes and accept that great Bhagavan in the form of guru. Accept him by vidhi vidhan; and if you wish, the deeksha vidhi has been given on the channel, so accept him in the guru form by that Dev Deeksha vidhan.
Can Shiva accept somebody as his disciple?
These things are spread about, he says — that you have made Shiva ji your guru, but for Shiva ji to make you his disciple, he can bind you in such and such ways. Why will he not accept, brother? You who are giving deeksha, calling somebody and saying give 51,000 rupees and we will give you deeksha — what is the guarantee of your deeksha? Where will this money-deeksha come from?
What must a laukik guru actually possess?
The guru we need in the panchbhutatmak form, in the laukik form, should be one who has the knowledge to quiet the eagerness that is ours, and also the time, and also the capability. If such a guru is not found, and you make a guru only for the sake of obtaining wealth, honour, fame or siddhi, then it is in exactly this that you are deceived and cheated.
What happens to people after they take deeksha from someone?
Even if you do become initiated by someone, after that you begin to be troubled — as, he says, phone calls came for two or three days. He says he will name names, not of the sadhus but of those by whom these people were initiated.
A disciple reported that Avadhoot Shivanand ji Maharaj is saying that Radha does not exist
Speaking of Avadhoot Shivanand ji Maharaj, who at one time was very much in discussion over Shri Vidya, the speaker says that today it was said by some disciple of his — and had been said before too — that Avadhoot Shivanand Maharaj is saying that Radha does not exist, that Radha does not exist at all, and that they are singing hallelujah.
A caller said the charges have risen so high that an ordinary person cannot attend the shivirs or obtain the knowledge
One person's phone call had come earlier concerning the same figure. He said that his charges are going so high in the present time that an ordinary person cannot afford them at all — how are we to go to his shivirs, how are we to obtain knowledge? Charges for the obtaining of knowledge. And, the speaker adds, a person wants to leave a foreign country and come and settle in a pure land like Bharat, while that Maharaj ji has left here and settled down in America.
Take whatever good is being obtained, from him or from anywhere, and go do your own work
For this very reason he says again and again: wherever something good is being obtained — and if something good is being obtained from me too — take it. There is no need to speak love, hatred, abuse or anything good about us. Call me bhaiya, call me guruji, call me bhai, beta, babu, sona, say whatever you have to say, and go out having done your work. There is no hanging about here.
Why should hope and expectation not be hung on a person?
Because when you fix hope and expectation on someone, then — who knows, tomorrow my own buddhi may become deluded. It may feel to you that he is speaking improperly. Who knows, tomorrow Bhagavati may corrupt our buddhi and we may start singing hallelujah, and then all the effort that has been made will be corrupted. So keep attachment with anyone directly only as much as seems right to you.
The sadhanas and capability of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa stand against the lives of the disciples who came after
Look at the lives of all the divine saints, munis and gurus there have been, he says, and then look at the lives of the disciples who came after them. Look at Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa ji Maharaj's life, his sadhanas, his capability — and at the present time look at what runs in his name, the Ramakrishna Mission, and the things that happen in it. You will see the difference of earth and sky.
How should a person search for a guru then?
Keep your chaitanyata intact, and try to save yourself from the conspiracies shown against Sanatan whether by sweetness or by force — one must not drown in that for any reason. So first of all, when you search for a guru, search with chaitanyata. And wait. Do not be troubled about a guru, that how will I get a guru. When our tapobal and the rising of our punya happen, gurus will be obtained — not one but several.
He made gurus of several sadhaks; his foremost Sadguru is brahmaleen, and by his kripa the japa of the ritvij mantras continues
In his own life, he says, he met such sadhaks that he made them guru. It is not that he has had only one guru — he did not have one guru. His own foremost Sadguru ji Maharaj has become brahmaleen; but even after his going, by his very kripa, and by japa of the mantras of the ritvijs granted by him, and their anushthan and ajapa jap, such gurus were obtained as one cannot say lack capability.
Such gurus kept the full knowledge of the vidyas, made no display, and told only as much as the sadhak's capability allowed
Such gurus were obtained as keep the full knowledge of the vidyas we hear and know of; and to the proportion of the capability within us, that much they tell. It cannot be said that they go about making displays. If, while walking a sadhana path, they had to go somewhere midway or left it, then by them itself certain things were told — that after so much time such an obtaining will come to you — and that thing bore fruit. He says this is his own personal life experience.
Why should a sadhak not come in front of the camera?
They will not tell you what you people say — why do you not come in front, why do you not come in front. The first thing is this: one is not to come in front. The day it feels to you that you must come in front and make your name and fame, do all these things, show and tell yourself completely — the desire for honour and praise has arisen in you, all these things have come into your mind, and you will not be able to do sadhana.
What is the danger of a following?
If ten people are listening to you today, tomorrow a hundred and then a thousand will listen, because benefit will come from it, because you are telling correct things. Then people will run behind you, and if tomorrow, deluded by maya, you do some wrong act or speak some wrong thing, people will take that as correct too — because they are blind followers. A listener, he says, should therefore keep the capacity to oppose where he has a doubt, rather than accept everything.
Which guru stotras should be recited?
The second thing: after the guru, which stotra or stuti of the guru is to be done that is ordinary. There is the Guru Paduka Stotram — do its path. Or else do the path of the Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu stotra, and the dhyan mantra of the Guru Gita and the like.
Is a guru needed anywhere in this whole sequence?
In all these processes the need of a guru does not arise anywhere. It is not so in any place that we need to be initiated by a guru in order to do the pujan of Ganpati ji, to do the Sankat Nashan and the rest; or that only when a guru gives it will we do it. According to the present-day desh, kaal and circumstance, these things are not for that.
Why do knowledgeable sadhaks refuse when asked to perform a sadhana for you?
It is for this reason that it has been said, brother, to go into these sadhanas with thought and understanding. And such sadhaks as have the information — when you tell them to have this sadhana done, to have that done — why do they refuse? There is a reason: when they see your condition, they have so much capability that they read your body, read the bhavs of your mind, have the capability to look at your aura. They refuse, saying no, babu, leave it, do not do all this; go do Bhagavati's bhajan, go do darshan and pujan.
They cannot know whether the time given will succeed, or whether the sadhak will give the samarpan that is the very first step
Behind it there is the reason that if they go to give you time, it will feel to them that, having given so much time to prepare him, who knows whether he will succeed or not, and whether he will be able to give that much surrender or not. The very first matter, the very first step, is that of samarpan. For the sake of samarpan, sometimes gurus catch hold of you directly from their side, saying you have to become my disciple — and somewhere, if you go from your side, they drive you away, saying do not become my disciple.
What if a capable guru speaks harshly or absurdly to you?
If out of anger, or by their own wish merely to take a test, they say something absurd to you — there is capability in them; capable gurus are being spoken of here, not idle talk, those who truly have capability and truly have knowledge. So how much of it will you be able to bear? When you learn to bear, then the proper arrangement will be obtained by you — in that same way they will advance you, take you into shunya bhav, and make you established in samadhi.
Where the tendency of ahan will not end and not one scolding can be digested, discipleship cannot begin
If you are not able to bear their words at all — that is, the tendency of ahan is not ending at all from within your mind, you are not able to digest even one remark, not able to digest one scolding — then from where will you be able to become their disciple, and why should they give you all those things?
What comes with making a mahaguru?
It had been said about making a guru that if you have made a mahaguru, then there will also be a mahapariksha. And you are getting the company too.
In what order should the parts of a nitya puja be done?
A listener recites his daily order: guru smaran, Datt mantra mala, then Sankat Nashan Ganpati stotra, then Bhagavati's Satnam kavach stotra, then Rudrashtak, then Bajrang Baan. The speaker answers that first comes guru smaran with the Datt mala; after that Ganpati; after Ganpati, Bhairav; then Hanuman ji; then Jagdamba, or Lakshmi Narayan; and Shiva ji should be done at the very end.
Why does a disciple experience the guru in dreams?
To a listener who writes that he experiences the speaker in dreams several times, the speaker answers that it is by the effect of the guru sadhana he has performed, and by the grace of Bhagavan Datt, that the experience is coming — what capability, he says, do we have?
Order of the first sadhanas for a new sadhak without a guru
The speaker says that whatever brings a person into sadhana — tantric attack, enemies, debt, illness, family strife, or simply the wish — coming in is the best thing, and for one who has found no Guru the order is fixed. First the basic vidhi-vidhan of sitting at one's place, which is compulsory before every sadhana; then the guru sadhana, done on the one form that exists chiefly for the guru, since no direct guru or Diksha is there; then, once the guru Mandala's Kripa is obtained and the Dev Deeksha vidhan is done, the Ganpati Vinayak mandala; and only after both are complete, Bhairav — the Batuk Bhairav sadhana. He says all of these must certainly be done, and that lamp-lighting basics are also essential for a new sadhak.
Can there be more than one guru in a life?
The speaker says a guru has never been forbidden. For diksha it is said that whichever kshetra you wish to go into, whichever sadhaks or siddha purushas of that kshetra you are impressed by and wish to go forward with, you may be initiated by them. If your first guru, your physical guru, is living, then you may go forward after taking their permission; if not, then after mentally praying to them for their command, you may go forward after one paksha.
What does a proper guru have a disciple do first in the Kaul or Shakta marga?
Whenever you do the seva of any Shakti Peeth, or whenever you receive the deeksha of any shakti, the speaker says, the properly traditional gurus — go into the Kaul marg, go into the Shakta marg — first of all have you do, after guru sadhana, the sadhana of Bhairav ji. In Bhairav sadhana such capacity and such experience are obtained that afterwards, when women come before you, your bhav will simply be different; in the traditional way your bhav before everyone will be different.
Can all siddhis be obtained by the guru mantra alone?
Asked about the Mahabhairav mantra, he says it can be used now by taking a sankalp, and that is all he will be able to tell just now. All mantras, he says, are not equal even to the sixteenth kala of the guru mantra. Asked then whether all siddhis can be got by the guru mantra alone, and if so why so many kinds of sadhana are needed, he says it is Mahamaya's own leela; the statement is entirely true in its own place that everything can be obtained through the guru mantra.
If I cannot meet my guru, may I use a Sabar prayog myself, and in what order should sadhana begin?
If you have perfected the Sabar mantras, then you may use them, the speaker says. Asked where to do kuldevi sadhana and Shiva sadhana, at a temple or at home, and in what order, he says: if you are new and are doing your first sadhana, then first of all you should do the sadhana of the guru mantra. If there is no guru, then Bhagwan Dattatreya holds within himself the swaroop of all three, Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, so japa and sadhana of the mantras relating to Bhagwan Dattatreya should be done. After that, if you wish to do Shiva ji's sadhana, then before that do the kuldevi's sadhana; and before even that you should do the sadhana of Ganpati and Bhairav. In order, this is how it goes.
How should Brihaspati be nourished alongside Shani?
If along with this you have nourished Brihaspati, he says — as he has said in a live before: you are growing your hair, which is a part of Sanatan Dharma, and we ought to keep our hair long; you are keeping a shikha; if you are a man you are keeping a beard, moustache and beard, however small they may be, you are keeping them. And along with that, particularly on Thursdays, do worship for the sake of the guru of your kula, or of whichever deity is a guru svarupa — whether Bhagavan Dattatreya, Bhagavan Dakshinamurti Shiva, a form of Bhagavan Narayana, or any guru svarupa such as Kalang Swami, or Aghoracharya Kinaram Baba, whomever you worship in guru form.
What comes first in this anushthan if one has a guru?
If we have a guru and some mantra of the guru has been obtained, or some stuti has been given to us by him, we may do that. If nothing has been given, then recite the Guru Stotram provided in the PDF — one recitation only, seated on your asana. There is no need to make it siddha.
Should the guru paduka mantra be the first mantra given?
He says the first mantra ought mostly to be the guru paduka mantra, but people do not give it. He asks listeners not to let doubt arise — he is speaking generally, because those whose gurus will not give it will say that theirs did not. Different people may have their own way and what they give depends on them, but generally, he says, the paduka mantra ought to be given and ought to be received.
Who the eclipse guru sadhana is for, and why a guru is not easily found
The speaker says this sadhana is especially for those who have no Guru and want to come onto the sadhana path, and also for ordinary people who want to do sadhana for the protection of their home, family and themselves. If a guru, or a guru to one's liking, is not being found, there is no need to wander: do this sadhana until a guru is obtained, and awaken these mantras for that time. Gurus are not found so easily, he says; it is the Prarabdha of some of our karmas that a guru is not being obtained. When that prarabdha is cut, Punya increases, strength comes into the Jivatma, the energy of tapas grows and punya accumulates, a guru will certainly be obtained. This sadhana, done in this time, he says, will certainly raise one's tapas and Tapo-bala.
Accepting Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva or Jagdamba as guru when there is no guru
Citing the verse "Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Maheshwarah, Gurur sakshat Parabrahma", the speaker says the Guru is Brahma, the guru is Vishnu, the guru is Shiva himself, and the Parabrahma is the guru in person. So those who have no guru should understand that Brahma ji is the guru, Vishnu ji is the guru, Bhagwan Shiva is the guru, Ma Jagadamba is the guru, that Parabrahma Bhagavati is the guru, and may accept them as guru. Our worthiness, he says, has nothing to do with it; no one can become worthy before them. When their kripa-drishti, wish and blessing are there and our Punya has strength, they themselves will give a physical guru of this world in their own form; until then one may accept them as guru and do one's sattvik sadhanas for home and family.
Guru Gayatri for those without a guru; the guru mantra for those who have one
The speaker says the Guru Gayatri mantra is the best for those who have no Guru, and best for those who have one too. But those who have a guru have already received a guru mantra, so they should do Japa of that guru mantra and take a vidhan for this Grahan kaal from their own guru; the eclipse is very important for them as well. If they have no time or wish for any other sadhana, or cannot do one for any reason, they should at the very least jap their guru mantra.
From Amavasya to Guru Purnima: the one-paksha arc of the eclipse guru sadhana
The speaker says that after the Dashami havan the mala is still not to be used; after each japa it goes back into the same Gangajal bowl. From the day after Dashami one continues with one Mala or five, whichever one was doing, now as one wishes; if the wish is to do only one mala, then only one. This continues until Guru Poornima, the Ashadh Purnima falling on 5 July, which is also a Sunday, and on that day the sadhana becomes complete. He calls it a full two-week sadhana, a one-paksha sadhana, from Amavasya to Poornima, from darkness to light.
Guru Purnima pujan, dan and the wearing of the mala
The speaker says that on the day the sadhana completes, Guru Poornima, guru pujan is done of whoever has been accepted in the form of guru: cloth is kept for them, and a bhog of sweets and the like is given. After the pujan, the things for dan are touched and set apart: whatever Annadaan or other dan one wishes to give, along with some Dakshina, kept aside to give to the yachaks who come asking. After that the Mala is worn around the neck, taking it as the guru's blessing and as the guru's protection.
Continuing the guru mala japa into Shravan, and what the first charan gives
The speaker says that from the day after Guru Purnima, when Shravan (Savan) begins, it is one's own wish: one may go on doing one Mala of this japa every single day, keeping the mala worn around the neck. This is the first charan of the sadhana. Whoever does it, he says, will have less trouble in whatever other sadhana they do afterwards, will be guided rightly, and will get help and strength to complete the sadhana they wish to do; and their Punya and Tapo-bala will grow so that they may obtain a direct, physical guru in this material world.
All sadhana begins from the guru
The speaker says that if a person has never done anything for themselves, if to this day one has done no sadhana at all, then at the very least this Guru Gayatri should certainly be used once in one's life. Sadhana is always begun from the Guru: the guru is Sumeru, the guru is the mountain, and all sadhanas should be started from the guru. After the sadhana of this mantra, he says, he will teach many more sadhanas that can be done comfortably at home to get free of one's problems.
What should someone who has never received guru deeksha do on Guru Purnima?
For those who have not received guru deeksha to this day, the speaker repeats what he said last time: the best thing is to find an aged pujari of a Narayan temple, a Bhagavati temple or a Shiva temple — whether he has knowledge of all four Vedas or of not even one, so long as he is aged, of good conduct, or a pujari who performs trikaal Gayatri — and with a feeling of shraddha give him daan punya and dakshina to the best of your capacity on that day, and perform pranayam. Special grace of the guru will be obtained.
Those who want a physical guru have four or five guru-prapti sadhanas already given on the two channels.
The third work, the speaker says, is for those who wish to obtain a guru materially: four to five sadhanas for this have been given on this channel and on the Siddh Sabari Vidya channel. Any one anushthan among them may be begun from that day, for as many days as are stated in it.
Can a devi or devta be accepted as guru when one has no guru?
When knowledge comes to you and power comes to you, the speaker says, you will keep yourself motivated enough to stand before anyone — so you should have that much information. Asked whether one may accept a devi or devta as guru if one has no guru, he says: absolutely, it can be done and accepted; there is no difficulty of that kind. Take special care in uttering the pranav and proceed slowly.
What can a beginner do in Savan for the obtaining of a guru?
Asked by a listener new to tantra what may be done in Savan for the obtaining of a guru and when to begin, the speaker says: beginning from Guru Purnima and continuing to the Purnima of Shravan, recite a hundred and eight paths of the Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stotra of Bhagavan Sadashiva every day, with that very sankalp, if that is your wish.
May a saint who has left the body be worshipped as guru?
Asked whether saints and mahatmas who have left the body may be worshipped in the form of a guru, the speaker says they absolutely may; there is no difficulty, and their grace will also be obtained. He repeats that a guru is needed in physical form for two or three reasons: when you especially want the complete siddhi of some mantra, or its japa with the complete vidhi vidhan; and second, when you wish to perform shatkarma prayogas and the like.
Is it proper to take Bholenath as guru and the Panchakshari as guru mantra?
A listener says he has made Bholenath his guru, gone to a Shiva temple, accepted him as guru by vidhi and taken a sankalp, and asks whether it is proper to do japa of the Panchakshari mantra as a guru mantra. The speaker says you are free to do this according to yourself; there is no matter of proper or improper here. Many people may call it improper and many may support it. In his view, whatever this feeling within you is, do not change it because someone says something: if your surrender is in Sadashiva, if you are walking taking him as your guru and everything is going well, then keep going. Only do not do shatkarma, never give anyone a boon and never a curse. Remain immersed in Shiva.
Which Ganpati sadhana should be done after the guru sadhana?
Asked which sadhana of Ganpati may be done if one is to do Ganpati after the guru, the speaker says: first of all do the Sankatnashan Ganesh Stotra. That sadhana should certainly be done for six months. If you cannot do six months either, then the paath should be done from Chaturthi to Chaturthi, one month.
How many gurus may one make in life, and may children do Dattatreya japa?
Asked how many gurus we can make in life, the speaker says there is no such limit. Asked whether children may do japa of the mantra of Guru Dattatreya, he says yes, they may — it is not as though the japa of Bhagavan Dattatreya cannot be done. Have them do japa of Shripad Pallav Digambara. Digambara hai Digambara, he says; in the form of a bhajan the japa of this mantra is exceedingly beneficial for children.
Can grace come from a shakti other than the one being worshipped?
Asked whether it can happen that we worship one deity while the grace and blessing come from some other shakti, the speaker says he explained this whole subject in a video from three or four days back, and asks the listener to hear it once. Asked whether the Panchakshari mantra or the guru mantra gives better fruit in Shravan, he says: do the one in which your shraddha lies — that is the one that gives the best fruit. Shravan is dear to all the devas, because it is the month of the Mahadev of devas, so all bestow grace.
How should an awakened kundalini be quieted?
A listener says her kundalini has awakened and asks how to quieten it, since it moves all day. The speaker says this is an entirely practical subject: even if he explains and speaks here, it will not be understood — at what level it is, where what is happening and not happening. It should be done through some yoga guru who is nearby, and along with your guardian, since, as he tells her, you are a woman and should understand this subject.
What should be donated in the guru maharaj's name?
Asked what should be donated or given in the name of the guru maharaj, the speaker says: whatever you wish — clothes, grain and such should be donated. To a listener who says he stopped reciting the Pashupatastra after hearing him, though he used to recite it only for obtaining Shiva's grace and had to take such a sankalp, and has now begun the Shiv Kavach, he says he repeats one thing again and again: everyone is free to make their own decision.
When should a beej mantra be begun, and can it be a guru mantra?
Asked what a mantra ki palat is, the speaker says the question is, in his view, incomplete. Asked when the japa of a beej mantra should be started and whether it may be used as a guru mantra, he says yes, it may — begin it from the day of Guru Purnima. To a listener who wishes to be fully joined with Maa Kali and to receive her darshan in a dream, he says that giving darshan depends upon her; but if you wish to do her seva puja, begin the singing of her stotras and stutis and her arti at an auspicious time.
Is there a sadhana for obtaining an aghori or tamasik guru?
Asked what to mix into bathing water, he says it depends — mix Gangajal and bathe. Asked whether the sadhana for obtaining a guru serves those who want an aghori guru or a tamasik guru for tamasik or aghor sadhana, he says: absolutely, do it holding that very wish in the mind — that we want such a guru for tamasik sadhana, that we want an aghori guru — and such a one will be obtained.
What order must be followed before any principal sadhana?
In the field of tantra, before beginning any particular principal sadhana, the sadhana of Ganpati and the sadhana of Bhairav ji are extremely necessary. Guru, Ganpati and Bhairav run in this order: first guru sadhana, then Ganpati sadhana, then Bhairav sadhana — in which you may also do the sadhana of your own kul bhairav. After that the sadhana of your kul devi-devatas, anything connected with the pitrs, anything connected with the kundali; and only then do you go to the principal sadhanas. If the sadhana is connected with Bhagavati, then after Bhairav ji the sadhana of Hanuman ji should also be done.
Is there a guru sadhana in the Manas or the Vinay Patrika?
Asked whether there is any guru sadhana in the Manas chaupais or in the Vinay Patrika — some chaupai or pada by which guru sadhana can be done — he tells Akash ji yes, it is in the Manas, and that he has asked a very good question. He will give it separately: as he has given the sadhana of the Rudragan, so he will give theirs too from the Manas.
What does it mean when the hair stands on end at a deity's name?
Asked what it is a sign of when the hair on the hands stands up on hearing something spoken of a deity or of Devi Maa by someone else, or heard on the phone, he says it happens on account of bhav. What sign? It happens because of bhav. Your bhav will remain joined; it will stand up.
After three to five lakh of the guru mantra the mouth should stop asking such questions
Told by a listener that he was given a raksha mantra by his guru ji, that he has done separate sadhanas of twenty-one, forty-one and ninety days, that after watching a video he did three lakh japa, and that thirty-one lakh of the guru mantra has been done — the speaker first says it is a very beautiful thing. Then he says: after that, you now have no need to go searching on Instagram and Facebook for these things. It is a very great irony, he says, that you say you have done thirty-one lakh japa and even after that you are still asking a question; this state should simply not arise. Why did the desire even arise within you to put your questions before someone? Here after three lakh, five lakh, the voice stops coming from the mouth — the state becomes so good, so much shraddha comes upon one's aradhya, that whether you get distress or happiness you have nothing to do with it. It is very good that you have done such fine japa; but you now have no need to ask anything separately. Go on according to the guru.
Why does a guru forbid what a dream has instructed?
Asked why, when something is guided in a dream, the guru refuses it when asked, he says there are two chief causes. If your guru is very knowledgeable and has the knowledge, then if he is coming to know that you are being deluded, he will refuse. And the second cause may be this: if the guru is fit and proper and everything of his is in order, then it may be that you have not yet become fit for the sadhana that is being told. That is why your guru is refusing — either he wishes to have you do some other sadhanas before it, or the time has not come, and he is stopping you for some time.
Some have no problem at all, but want a guide to the purpose of life

What should you do if you genuinely want a guru?
For that very reason, the speaker says, he repeats again and again: if you want a guru, truly want a guru, then first do all the sadhanas that are connected with the guru. Do them holding the divine purushas, the siddh purushas, the siddha mahashaktis, the maha-atmas, the divine saints who have been, as your guru. They will cast a glance of grace — that yes, this child belongs to this parampara, he should go here.
Whom should someone from Bengal hold as guru?
If you are from the Bengal region, the speaker says, take Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Ma Sarada as guru ma and guru pita, as guru ji, and do their puja-seva. No difficulty will come to you and no dosha connected with the mantra will attach. Do japa of their name — that is enough. If you are in the tantra kshetra, do it as well; even if you must do sadhanas connected with the tantra kshetra, do the initial puja of these very ones.
What if you want to go into the vam paddhati and know nothing?
If you want to go further into the vam paddhati and you know nothing, then nothing has to be done, he says: wherever in the whole of India you are, do the puja of Vamakhepa. He is careful to add that he is not saying you will get diksha of Bhagavati Mahavidya Tara and be initiated into that parampara. No.

If you want to do some mantra sadhana, or are seized by abhichar or badha of some kind, and are searching for a guru who would give you a mantra and include you in his guru parampara, he says he would still say: first of all take the refuge of Bhagavan Dattatreya. Or, according to your regional tradition, see which guru is most famous there in the sadguru swaroop and has recognition, and holding him as guru go to his samadhi sthal, go to whatever siddh peeth of his there is, and go there again and again and pray. He will show grace, indirectly; he may even come before you and you will not know it.
Whom should you hold as guru until a guru is obtained?
Until a guru is attained, the speaker says, you must hold on to some one swaroop in the form of guru and walk with it. Carry Bhagavan Dattatreya; or take any one of the Navnaths; or take the eighty-four siddhas. According to your region, take whoever attracts you most, whoever seems a siddh purush. If you are from Uttar Pradesh, hold Devraha Baba — than whom, he says, there will be no more capable siddha yogi — or Guru Gorakhnath ji, whose mantras too are given on the channel. Carry Telang Swami in the guru parampara, or Lahiri Mahashay, or Baba Neem Karoli.

To Rakesh Dubey ji, who asks how to make a devi or devata a guru, he answers that he has clarified this before: whomever you make a guru, making the guru mandal a guru is the easiest. Because somewhere our devi-devatas have granted that shakti-siddhi or that tattva such that in the guru swaroop they pervade this whole brahmand, and pervade the very environment in which we are living. So make them your guru; the best will be to make one shuddh purush your guru. All their names, he says, he will make a separate video of, one by one, with the full mantra vidhan, if people wish. Do not wander about for a physical guru, he tells them.

So message once on Telegram, and we will see and have something special done for you. Do a small three-day anushthan related to them; you are also in so good a place, and every arrangement is already with you.

The foundation before Pitambara sadhana: Guru, Ganpati and Ma Sharada
What Bhagavati or any devi-devta says comes first, the speaker says, is Guru, Ganesha and Ma Sharada; at least this much sadhana should be behind you. Was a guru mantra taken, and how much Japa of it was done, even as Ajapa Jap: by rule at least sava lakh. Leaving Haridra Ganpati aside, was even the ordinary Ganpati svarup served, his Kavach recited, his dwadash naam japa done, at least a ten-day anushthan, Modak offered? If you do not do the sadhana of the Vighnaharta, he says, he is the first to become the Vighnakarta, so how can you expect success and no trouble. The proportion of trouble differs from person to person, one succeeds after three days of Ganpati and another suffers even after ten, but the order must stay the same; go straight to the sadhana and there will be trouble.
Whom should one make a guru if no good guru is available?
