Feeding dogs daily as Bhairav's vahana throughout a Bhairav sadhana
The speaker says that whenever one awakens any shakti or seeks its blessing, its ganas must be worshipped along with it, and Bhairav's gana and vahana in visible form is the dog. So the first thing to tie a knot on is this: from the day the Bhairav sadhana is taken up, feed a dog every day with one's own hands — sweet, salted or plain roti, morning or night, whatever one can — wherever a dog is found. Dogs must never be hurt or stoned. A dog of any colour that comes and sits at one's door does so only by Bhairav's grace. If Bhairav is displeased, the dog sniffs the food and leaves — this happens often, and especially with an utara; if the dog eats, the removal of one's problem has begun. It is not magic that works in a day, he says, but the benefit is certain. He adds that the traditional twelve-year upasana of Bhairav or Virabhadra across twelve temples comes through guru parampara, not YouTube or Facebook, and a householder cannot do that — so serving dogs is the householder's way.
Daily observances during the Mahabhairav anushthan: Shiva abhishek, ghee lamp, red flower to Jagadamba, feeding dogs
The speaker sets four daily rules from the day the anushthan is taken up until it ends. Shiva's abhisheka twice a day, at least with milk mixed with water and Mishri (kewra or rose water may scent it) — once before the puja and once, essential, after the path, then a bath of pure water and kshama-yachana, with Bilva and Shami leaves offered; half a lota each time is enough. A ghee lamp near Shiva before the puja. After the puja, 108 names of Bhagavati and one red flower to Parvati (or to Shiva himself, who is her form), asking Jagadamba to accept the puja and free one of any dosha in the vidhan, the flower left on the argha. And dogs fed every day — biscuits, roti or milk-roti — before one eats oneself. All this, he says, is so that this very intense Sabar Mantra has no Tiryak Prabhava and the devata's full grace comes. Morning is best; evening only if the temple allows milk then.
How a bhagatwal chowki grows through public welfare
The speaker says that once the shaktis are ready, both kinds of client come — first a friend is helped, neighbours hear, or the sadhak himself advertises that he does shmashan sadhana at Tarapith — and each job is either good or bad. If a tantra-afflicted person comes and the sadhak does Tantra Kaat with his shaktis, uses something for the family's protection and does their welfare, his Punya grows; the shaktis of his Chowki are pleased and satisfied, his good energy increases, and if he uses the money to feed himself, give bhog and puja to the deities he has siddh-ed (negative though they may be), and serve some creatures — even feeding dogs — such a person's chowki grows day by day, even when it is made of bhoot-pret, because society is benefiting and the blessings of the helped are increasing it. Their gati is another matter, he adds: those shaktis will not get mukti, they have their own Prarabdha to suffer, but the chowki will grow.
Keeping a bhagatwal chowki prosperous: welfare, right use of money and timely visarjan
The speaker says that if the same shaktis are used for public welfare and seva, the money is put to good use with jeev seva after the family is provided for, and the bhagat has the sense to see that these are bhoot-pret shaktis and so makes a sthan of Mahadev for them and does their Visarjan in time so that they too get gati, then his Chowki grows, auspicious shaktis also come, and he will not have to wander much later — he will do his own atma-kalyan in time. Many such people, he adds, do their own pind daan while still living at shakti-peeths and other peeths, not knowing what lies ahead, or enter some parampara saying the bhagatwal is done, now let us see to our own mukti; their shaktis stand by them in time and give them sadgati, and they mostly do not get badly stuck.
Jeev seva and daily panchbali during the Batuk Bhairav Brahma Kavach anushthan
The speaker says that for as long as one performs the anushthan of this kavach, Jeev Seva is very much required — and Panchbali should in any case be done every day. Through this Bhairav is satisfied and his grace comes very quickly.
Feeding the cow and dogs during the Datta sadhana
The speaker says that as long as the japa and the sadhana period run — and in fact always in life — a cow must be fed bhog every day, because Bhagavan Datta always walks with the cow, Gau Mata Kamadhenu, and is present with her, so her seva is done. Four dogs stay with Datta, so dogs too must be fed during this time. With these acts alongside the japa, he says, Datta's boundless grace is certainly obtained.
Helping a person in need: the sins it destroys that japa cannot
The speaker says helping someone in need during Kartik month yields merit capable of destroying many sins, and that the blessings gained from serving any living being can dissolve sins that puja, paath and japa alone cannot; he adds that some outcomes of one's Prarabdha can only be worked off this way, through serving and satisfying another being.
Why must panchbali not be missed?
Panchbali will certainly take place, the speaker says, and it should not be dropped under any circumstances for sadhaks. As soon as you give food to living creatures from your own body — when you feed gau mata, the dog, the crow, the ant and man — the many known and unknown sins and doshas committed by your body are immediately destroyed, and the fruit of your mantra japa also begins to be obtained by you.
May the offered madira be taken as prasad, and what is swan seva?
Anyone may accept as prasad the naivedya that has been offered there, but never accept the madira — the madira should be poured out for Bhairav ji alone. And while the forty-day Bhairav seva is running, swan seva, that is the service of dogs, must particularly be done: as far as possible feed dogs before you eat yourself.
What does panchabali mean in a Bhairav anushthan?
Along with the 40 days goes panchabali or jeev seva. Panchabali means giving food to five kinds of creatures. It does not mean, he says pointedly, that we have to offer five bali — five fours are twenty, and you would have to sacrifice at least 200 living beings, which would bring the population under control.
Which dog should be fed, and what is added if a pret problem persists?
Feed the creature before you eat yourself; the best is a stray dog rather than a pet dog. And if there is an abhicharik problem connected with pret and pishaach that is not being destroyed, then along with this prayoga also keep doing Kshetrapal Nikari on every Sunday and Tuesday falling within the 40 days.
Why should deep daan not be done at a river ghat after dark?
Those going to Ganga ji's ghat should not turn up cleverly to do deep daan in the evening — he says he has already done that cleverness himself, and whenever such cleverness is done many bali fall, of insects and moths. It is the hot season and there are so many insects that ten of them come and die in each lamp you light. Better to do the deep daan at home. If it is to be done at the Ganga bank, do it before dusk, before darkness, when the insects are not there; and if going at night, do it at the edge where there is less mud.
What is the right maryada in caring for stray dogs?
To Vaishnavi ji, who writes that she has taken in two stray dogs that stay outside the house and that there is boundless joy in their company, he says this maryada should always remain as it is — let them stay outside the house and let their service also continue. One should love living creatures, help them according to one's capacity and arrange food and drink for them; but the maryada that they will not be brought to the threshold is very proper, and she has done very rightly.
What are sakhya bhava and atmasamarpan?
Sakhya bhava is: whatever is happening, mangal or amangal, good or bad, no matter — we are taking it all as good; whatever you are doing, it is happening by your will. Atmasamarpan is that if Bhagavan gives us a crore, out of that crore we give back to him 99 lakh 99 thousand 999 rupees, and one rupee upon ourselves. But the speaker says this does not mean building temples and decorating Bhagavan day and night — it means jeev seva, spending what Bhagavan gave wherever there is need for the uplift of sanatan and for the welfare of sanatani jeevs.
Should knowledge and siddhi be kept to oneself?
From where is this meaningfulness coming, the speaker asks — we learned what the guru taught, which we are placing before you; you will learn, you will teach your children, and it will grow; the more it grows, the more it flourishes, the more the welfare of us all will occur. Why should it be kept limited to oneself, why should siddhi be kept limited to oneself, as though only we ourselves know everything. Give at least this much, that a change may come into the life of the person before you.
What is the permanent solution for a troubling pitr?
Whether the pitr troubles a daughter or a son, the solution is one — that they should be satisfied and contented. Temporary remedies, giving water, doing jeev seva, will stay temporary. If you want it permanently, then either, if you know which pitr it is and know their name, let Narayan Bali be done for them and let their gati happen; or else the Tripindi fourfold, four times, four samvatsaras, and a daily Gita path in the house. Only then will it happen, if you want a permanent solution.
A cow and dogs must be fed daily through the sadhana, and never harmed — lifelong, but scrupulously across these thirty days.
For as long as this sadhana runs, the speaker says, you should certainly feed a cow every day and should certainly feed dogs. Never at any time cause harm to cows, to gauvansh, or to dogs. Harm is not to be caused lifelong, he says, but for these 30 days you are to keep very well indeed.
Why is gau seva the first duty of a household?
The first of the works placed is gau seva. Serving the gau mata, the speaker says, is the responsibility of us all.
Gau
The Mother herself has taken avatar as the cow for our sustenance, so her seva comes first.
Because Jagadamba herself, the speaker says, has taken avatar in the form of the cow, as this jeev, for our sustenance — so her seva is our very first duty.
What can a woman alone at home do for the ancestors?
She may make Kheer and puri and feed a crow, a dog and a cow; and if she can read Hindi, sit before Bhagavan Narayana, read whichever chapter of the Bhagavad Gita she wishes in Hindi with her head covered (Ghunghat), and surrender it to God.
What should be done first where there was akala mrityu with abhicharik conditions?
The speaker tells Atish Dubey and everyone else to pay attention: where there has been an untimely death and an abhicharik state, or where it is known that some bhoot, pret or pishach condition was present above at that time, the very first thing is not to go straight and have something paid for. First do panchbali for the departed — feed cow, dog, ants, birds and human beings.
How does serving creatures strengthen a departed soul?
Suppose you scatter merely a handful of jaggery at the place of the ants, the speaker says. Then the souls of all those ants will bless you when they are satisfied. Gau mata will bless, the blessing of the dog will be obtained, the blessing of the crow will be obtained — and by the blessings of these creatures that capacity and power comes into the departed soul that nobody will be able to keep them in bondage.
Besides a Narayan bali case, who else should do panchbali and jeev-seva?
This is not only for Narayan bali, the speaker says. Anyone else listening in whose house such a condition exists, or who is afflicted by any bhoot-pret or abhichar — if they will do these two or three works, then within three to six months at the very least there will be very great relief, a difference of earth and sky.
Is there any dosha in feeding rice with ghee?
Feeding rice with ghee is not a matter of dosha, the speaker says. For gau mata it is fine; but if you are feeding a dog, then not all of them will be able to eat it and it may cause them trouble — feed something by which no harm reaches them.
Gau
Which Bhairav temple to adopt: an unworshipped one where no daily lamp burns
The speaker says the greatest reason for going regularly is that the Prarabdha, the karma, the affliction that is being cut nowhere else will be cut by Bhairava ji's grace. The temple to look for is an apujit one — a Bhairav temple where regular puja does not happen, where people come only on some particular day such as Sunday, and where not even a lamp burns on the other days. Such a temple should be seized at once, and one should take the burden of its regular seva on oneself.
Ninety or 108 days of continuous seva at an unserved Bhairav temple, and what it cuts
The speaker says: without touching the Shri Vigraha, place flowers and Bhog before Bhairava, light Dhoop and a lamp, do a paath of the Bhairav Sahasranama, the Bhairav Ashtak or the Kaal Bhairava Ashtak with bhaav, do aarti and come away. If such a temple where nitya seva does not happen is found and one begins seva there and goes continuously for three months — 90 days or 108 days — he will free one of every affliction, however great the court case, the false suit or the wrong prayoga done upon one.
Disposal of the bhog offered to Bhairav
The speaker says the Bhog offered should, if one is a man and takes it oneself, be taken as Naivedya right there outside the temple, on the spot. Otherwise it may be distributed to small children, given to the temple's own sevaks to eat, or given to dogs — placed so they can eat it wherever they are found. Take a little oneself and feed all the rest right there to everyone.
Cleaning the Bhairav temple and its surroundings, and feeding the dogs outside
The speaker says the seva of such a Bhairava temple includes its cleanliness — cleaning that place, that temple and the surrounding area — and the seva of dogs: feeding them salted roti and sweet roti, and arranging water and food for them as much as possible. He says explicitly he is not telling anyone to bring a dog home and tie it up; the seva is done outside. Bhairav gives more than one can imagine, and whatever the affliction, serving him this way frees one of it.
Does it have to be a desi cow for this to work?
It is certainly true that a Ved lakshana gau, a desi cow, is wanted — but in today's time they will not be found everywhere. So do the puja of whoever is present. Remove that feeling, he says: do it in the bhav of jeev seva and in the bhav of the form of the gau. It is not that you will get no fruit, and it is not that any harm will come to you from it.
Gau
What if the goshala is my own?
If you have your own goshala you should still do this in the morning. If the gau mata is tied to the khunta there, do it carefully so that she suffers no distress and no dosha attaches. And if the gau mata stays tied, take a roti with gud along and feed it to her at that same time.
Gau
What do I carry with me in the evening?
You are to go at evening carrying a yellow cloth, and gau gras for the gau mata — that is, sweet roti, made at home, at least five of them. If more than one gau mata is there, or more gau vansh, then make five or ten rotis in that proportion. First offer pranam, and remove your slippers before entering the goshala — go barefoot from home itself if possible.
Gau
What daan should be done across the five days?
For doing daan and punya in these five days, do panchbali: certainly have the cow fed, the dog, the ants; certainly have the crow fed; and for the sake of any human being — people come to ask — put out grain of food for them, and give it if anyone comes; you may give cooked food too, or if the wish is that we will give wealth, you may give them wealth as well. These five days you should do daan especially, he says, and you may do separate seva for the gau mata as well.
Should ants at home be fed sugar, and can a wild rat be kept?
Mishri and sugar and all this are not to be given to ants in the house, he says — this is given away from the house. If ants come out in great numbers in the house, then atta is put there and they eat and go away; that is all it is. But if you give them sweet now, they will hardly go away. Asked about keeping a wild rat in the house, he asks in what place they have heard of rearing a rat — has anyone heard anywhere that a rat was reared, leaving aside our pauranik villains, leaving aside the rakshasas? For rearing we have heard of gau palan; you must have heard and read of the rearing of buffaloes, of mahish, the rearing of mahishi. These are somehow the creatures that come to our use, on account of which the whole society stands. The swan is not reared; it is nourished, outside the door of the house. But of rearing a rat he has not heard anywhere.
Which ahutis come first in a nitya havan, and what about ants in the house?
In a nitya havan, the very first is the ahuti of the Agni devata, and the ahuti of the navgrahas — these are necessary. And the panchdev, principally, their ahuti should be given. And if you do it with the Gayatri, then the ahuti of the Gayatri will happen right at the beginning, remaining silent. To Arvind Kumar Yadav ji, on what to do for the bavali, he says it is to be done on the day of Govatsa Dwadashi and that he told the whole vidhi vidhan at the beginning of this same live — listen to it from the start.
Watering the root nourishes the branches — serving the world is worship of Ashtamurti Shiva
It is said here that just as when water is poured at the root of a tree and it is watered, its branches thereby become nourished — in the same way this entire world is the body of Ashtamurti Shiva. When we do their shivarjan, that is, when we give happiness in the world, Shiva ji becomes pleased by this very thing.
As a father and grandfather are delighted at a son's good fortune, so Shiva is delighted when a being is made happy
Just as in this world, when a son or a grandson and the rest are pleased, the father becomes delighted. If you got a job, if your marriage went well, if you became happy, then your father and your grandfather will be greatly pleased that their child is happy, that their kutumb and their lineage is happy. In exactly the same way, when this world is pleased, Bhagwan Shiva is pleased.
What happens when any living being is given pain?
The speaker cites the line कृते यस्य कस्यापि देहिनो यदि निग्रह — if by anyone, to any embodied being at all, pain is given, then take it that harm has been done to Ashtamurti Shiva himself; in this there is no doubt. To give pain to an embodied being is to give pain to that Ashtamurti Shiva. And when you serve the beings of this whole world of embodied creatures, it is Ashtamurti Shiva who is pleased and satisfied by it.
His stated aim is to present shastrokta matter simply, as seva of Bhagwan Shiva, without breaking anyone's morale
He says his own aim is that this too is service of you, and that when listeners message to say they did such a thing and this happened, all of it is service of Bhagwan Shiva itself. He says he is not a saint like others, not a siddha, not one of great capability, and error is possible from him as a man — but the effort is that matters be shastrokta and be put simply, so that morale is strengthened and listeners do not break.
What is actually mandatory to do in Pitru Paksha?
Panchbali above everything else. Whether or not you do anything else, feed five creatures: fresh roti to the Gau, food to the dog, food to the crow, sugar for the ants, and a meal to a destitute or hungry person. Alongside it, Arghya to Surya and to Tulsi on every day not excluded.
What recitations may be added on top of Panchbali during Pitru Paksha?
If you have the wish, means and inclination: the Gita's seventh or eleventh chapter, or the whole of it, or your own Ishta's Gita — Shiva Gita, Devi Gita — or the Pitru Bisa. But do Jeev Seva without fail, because it is service to living creatures that satisfies the ancestors' souls.
The large channels are asked to give common sadhanas and use these materials for lok kalyan.
The speaker says a common sadhana should always be given on a channel. In the experiences he has put out — of Hanuman ji's havan, of the jhanjhira and all the rest — he has spoken openly, saying that he knows that people of other channels, the big channel people, listen to him: please use these things for lok kalyan. If such people come to you with a difficulty of this kind, have them use these materials and there will be benefit.
What is Panchbali at the Kuldevi worship, and why is it included?
The donation of grain to five kinds of creature — ants, the cow, the crow, the dog, and one person, feeding someone hungry. Through them the lineage's ancestors are satisfied and the deities are satisfied as well.
What should a household with ample means do on Saptami?
Worship at home, perform service of living creatures, and give to Brahmins, learned people, those you are devoted to, or a temple — with the whole purpose held as the Kuldevi's, that she should grant grace. Do according to your means.
What does Jagadamba give along with wealth, and what does she withhold?
When Jagadamba begins to advance you in any field she will give you wealth, honour and prestige — but remember, he says, whether along with it she is also giving you the kaleja: to help the poor and the suffering, to stand behind those who know less than you and try to advance them, to speak for the welfare even of one who has held dvesha towards you, to assist by money, by speech or by the body. This kaleja Jagadamba does not give to every sadhak.
What remedies does he give for heavy pitru dosha?
To a listener who says he has a great deal of pitru dosha and is not able to have anyone called, he says there is no difficulty and gives three things he can do himself. First: daily, when the floor is mopped in the house, have the mopping done with sendha namak added. Second: the seva of living creatures must certainly happen — roti for the cow, roti for the dog, for the crow, for beasts and birds; whatever is given must go out of the house every day, by rule. Third: let some one member recite the seventh adhyaya of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita daily, even in Hindi, and while reciting put three kusha and a tulsi leaf into a copper lota.
Concluding the Ganpati sadhana: donating the written copy and feeding a small boy
The speaker says that on the Chaturdashi itself the copy in which the stotra was written eight times is taken to a temple that also has a Ganesh murti, a Shiv temple being one such, and donated to the Brahmins there with a Sankalpa, along with some anna and Dakshina. If possible, at least one small boy is also fed a meal or sweets by one's own hand. No varna is to be looked at in the boy; he need not be a brahmin, and a well-behaved boy is very good. The texts say a boy under twelve, but in today's conditions five, six, seven or eight years is best. With this the sadhana is complete.
Does everyone who does japa at a tirtha get the same fruit?
No. There is a speciality of time and also of our own karmas, the speaker says. If you are a person who eats meat and fish, who commits jeev hatya, who torments others, who burns on seeing the wealth, the lifespan, the sons and grandsons of others, who nurtures dvesha and kuntha — then if you fall into some trouble, or hear about it somewhere, and go and do a path, you will not get the fruit that another person will get who wishes the good of others, who does not envy anyone on sight, who gives his wealth in daan, and who thinks of living beings when wealth arrives.
Lifelong Shiv Raksha practice: protection even from a panchmundi tantrik, with jeev seva and feeding others
The speaker says that if you make this work a continuous part of your life, then however great a tantrik there may be — even one seated on a Panchamundi asana — Mahadev will lift him up on the Trishul and he will be able to do nothing to you; you only need to be in the right and do these things properly. Along with it, Jeev Seva must be done — serving animals and birds — and the grain of your own earned share should go into others' stomachs, so that their blessing is obtained. Doing all this for a long time, he says, you will surely benefit, and by Mahadev's grace the tantra prayog will be destroyed.
Jeev seva and worship must be done without display
The speaker says Jeev Seva must be done alongside the remedy, but never for show — no announcing it, no selfies, videos or reels of feeding fish, no Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp status, no temple selfies. He says only by staying away from display does one gain anything in sadhana, because Punya is destroyed in proportion to the display; so nothing one does, no puja or paath, should be shown. He says what he himself shows on the channel is arranged separately for teaching and immersed afterwards, and that he never shows his main puja. Doing all of this for one month, he says, brings forgiveness.
Why is arranging water for travellers so important in Vaishakh?
The speaker says there is great mahima in arranging water for travellers from morning through the afternoon into evening in Vaishakh: Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh are all pleased by it, and it works against any kind of curse — even one given by a siddha, or a pret-pishach's shraap dosha. Fill a water pot wrapped in red cloth and give water all day to cows, to birds and animals, and to people.
Who should perform this water seva, and what does it remove?
Everyone, the speaker says — never leave it out in the month of Vaishakh. Whether you are of a great house, a billionaire or a millionaire, or however poor you may be, there is no distinction in this between rich and poor. He says it releases one from all the doshas and curses of deliberate sins.
What should be done on Sarvapitri Amavasya if you are away and cannot cook?
Buy sweets made of milk — half a kilo, a quarter, whatever you are able — and place them on a leaf plate, so that if Gau Mata eats the plate too it does no harm. Not the foam or plastic kind. And say plainly: this is the capacity I have, this is my reverence; be pleased with this alone.
What should be done on the day of the yogini or lok devata who comes in sawari?
And the chief matter of all, he says: for whichever yogini is dedicated to your ishta — as some yogini shakti is coming, or you have some lok devata — if they come in sawari, then on whichever day is theirs you should certainly make the attempt to do havan, and as far as possible to feed a dog, a cow or a bird with your own hand. From this, he says, the destruction of anishtata takes place.
What should one do while leaving the question of moksha aside?
Becoming free from moha and maya in all the bonds of the world, he says, cooperate with people as much as you can and do paropkar as well. But keep advancing. For the rest — whether one is to become brahmalin, or whether the attainment of moksha will happen, or whether there will be a next birth — leave it upon your own aradhya.
He is nourished through the daily panchbali — grain for the ants, sugar scattered, the dogs fed
Through the panchbali you perform daily, he says: when you put out grain for the ants, when you put out food, whatever sugar powder you scatter, whatever you feed to the dogs. By these very means he obtains nourishment of the body in that yoni, and having been nourished he stands ready there for the protection of your family.
No panchbali, no chaukhat, no gau seva and contempt for elders make such protection impossible
If you have never done panchbali in your life, have no chaukhat at all, never do gau seva, never water plants in the heat, speak badly to your wife or husband, abuse your in-laws, do not respect your elder or younger brother, have no respect for the learned, abuse Brahmins, call Kshatriyas impotent, call Vaishyas looters, and use SC-ST language about Shudras — if no one in the world is right for you and you alone are the great one — then such a being will never help you.
Begin with Datta's dev diksha vidhan, the chaukhat, the water place and daily panchbali, then jeev and plant seva
The beginning is made from the house, he says. So first of all your dev diksha vidhan of Bhagavan Datta; the chaukhat of your house; the place for drinking water; panchbali — let all this be daily. After that comes jeev seva, and after that the seva of trees and plants: begin the seva of some one tree or plant.
Taking service from the mother you should be serving attaches a dosha that must be undergone heavily
Such a dosha attaches, he says: understand at any time what you are doing, at what level you are doing a debased act, having your sister do it. It has to be undergone heavily. You are having your clothes washed by your mother — where you ought to be doing her seva, in place of that you are taking seva from her. Does shame never come? And you expect that our kalyan should occur: from where will kalyan come?
How should one persuade people who eat non-veg to strengthen the body?
Asked how one should explain to people who take non-veg only with the aim of making the body strong and powerful, the speaker says: you feel the need of explaining to such people too — explain, they will not understand at all. However much you explain, that much they are explaining, and who is understanding? In return they will give you four abuses. These people are balancing the world, brother: so that the number of chickens and goats may not increase, they are balancing it by eating and eating.
Can milk offered on Shiva be given away to the poor?
The next question is whether milk offered on Shiva may be given to anyone. Nowadays a fashion has arisen, the speaker says, of showing that one should offer milk and distribute it to the poor. In his opinion that thing is not correct, and you should not do it.
If someone insists on serving the poor with milk, what should they use?
If it is your wish to serve the poor, saying that you will see Narayan in man, and you have the capability, then at least do not give the toxic thing, the speaker says. Nowadays purified milk is available; give the poor that kind of milk if you have that much capability. But if you take a cow that goes out to graze, and after it returns from grazing you milk it and give that to the poor, then their loss will occur — you are not doing nar Narayan seva but somewhere giving them distress.
Can japa or Gita paath be offered to the souls of animals and birds?
Absolutely, the speaker says — there is no prohibition at all. Japa and the like can be offered even to jeev-jantu, and by the effect of that offering they can take on a very divine form. Gita paath too can certainly be done and offered.
What is the remedy when a marakesh Shukra dasha is running and health is bad?
A listener says the Shukra dasha is running, that Shukra is the marakesh, and that health is very bad. He says: at the very least, give daan on the day of Friday. And if nothing else, do a bhandara. There will be no shortage of money for the bhandara — how much money is needed? Not much, brother, ten rupees. For ten rupees buy sugar boora, or bring a packet, a hundred grams of sugar, and every Friday take it to such a place and put it out for the ants, where they will be safe and nobody will crush them.
The more Fridays it is kept, the sooner health begins to right itself
Start doing this much, he says: the more you do this work on Fridays, the sooner, the very quickly, your health will begin to become right — if no such trouble has occurred. And even if trouble has occurred, there will still be a reduction in it.
What happens to a person who helps another bear his prarabdha?
Sanatan culture says exactly this, he answers: that if any human being is in suffering, then help should be given to him. This is your responsibility and mine, this is our samskar. That became one subject, and it should be done. Ordinary help — as we do it financially, as we do it physically, or as we include them in our prayers — that far it is all right. But if you are asking with reference to the subject of tantra, then the subject there becomes different; there the subject of giving assistance becomes something else again.
What clears the rin dosha for a sadhana taken from someone?
Whenever and from wherever you do any sadhana, not only from this channel, the speaker says, then in the name of the person from whom you took the sadhana light at least five ghee lamps in a Shiva temple on the first day and the last day of the sadhana, so that rin dosha does not occur. The second thing: in that person's name feed at least sava kilo of grain, or anything at all to eat and drink, to living beings — feed a dog, a cat, a cow; feed a sheep or a goat; feed a human being. That much should be done, and by it rin dosha will never fall upon that person or upon you.
He tries daily to put food into some creature's mouth before his own
He says he tries every day to see that food goes into some creature's mouth before it goes into his own, because he too does not know how many people are doing the many videos on the channel, so rin dosha is attaching to him as well. It is between the two of us, he says: I am doing it, you do it too. What can happen is that a fruit which was to be got a hundred per cent may not be got for this very reason; when we do this work, that fruit will be received in full. Everyone should walk on freeing themselves of rin dosha.
Is there a rule for a sadhak who goes to bring kusha on that day?
Alongside the Vaidik karmakand and the ordinary nitya niyam pujan-paath, on the day of Kushotpatini Amavasya those sadhaks in particular who have made it the aim of their life that after gaining siddhi they will employ it in the welfare of people — when they go to take kusha, when they bring kusha mool, there is a rule in it.
Can the worship of Gau Mata Surabhi be done?

Gau
What is done with the leftover wick of an akhand jyot?
Asked whether the leftover wick of the akhand jyot should be given visarjan or put to some use, the speaker says that if it has not burnt and has simply remained over, you may keep it; and if he means the burnt khadi batti, you may also use that in a tilak and the like. Of the akshat grains japa'd upon, he says you may feed them to birds.
Should all one's doshas be destroyed before entering the field of sadhana?
Look, the speaker answers: dosha will be destroyed only when you enter the field of sadhana. How will you enter having destroyed the dosha? It is only by doing sadhana that dosha will be destroyed. It is like saying that before cooking food we should first become strong — that we become so strong that we cook splendidly, with the whole mind applied. Right now we are weak. Brother, you will become strong only when you cook food and eat it; only then will the weakness go.
What should be done if the vigraha of Mata Kali has been burnt?
The vigraha will have burnt through your own carelessness, he says. First of all, do the abhishek of the Mata for at least nine days continuously — with panchgavya, with panchamrit and with pure Gangajal, daily, for nine days without a break, beginning today or from tomorrow. Do 108 japa daily for nine days of the whole mantra "या देवी सर्वभूतेषु क्षमा रूपेण संस्थिता ... नमस्तस्यै". Along with it let there certainly be jeev seva — feed a cow, a crow, a dog, whoever; let it go into their stomach before it goes into your own — and keep again and again the bhav of asking pardon: O Bhagavati, forgive the offence committed knowingly or unknowingly. On the last day do annadaan according to your strength.
Why offer anything to God when God is everything?
He says a follower of Rampal has come along with the false argument of why God should be given anything, when God is everything. Certainly God is everything — and it is his samarthya that he is manifesting the anna, and he is giving the buddhi within us too, so that we may make the offering of "tera tujhko arpan".
What should be done with a creature caught inside the house?
To Hit Hari Bansi ji he says there will be no difficulty at all: catch it and release it in the field. Only keep this much in mind, that its life should not be lost.
Serving the pitrs, the devas and living beings cuts prarabdha and brings sadbuddhi, atmabal and medha
The speaker teaches that as soon as you begin working for the Pitr of your own kul, doing work for the devi-devtas, and serving living beings, Prarabdha starts being cut immediately. As it is cut, sadbuddhi begins to come; then atmabal arises within you; and when atmabal comes, medha buddhi develops — the sense of how to go further on this path so that the work becomes pure. His example is the family in the case, which by Jagadamba's Kripa got the sense to learn the Gita's 11th chapter in Sanskrit.
A Shakambhari sadhak must never leave anyone hungry or thirsty, and why this pleases Bhagavati
The speaker says the sadhak of this mantra must, in any circumstance, help any person afflicted by hunger or by greatly risen thirst, even an enemy; one is never to see anyone hungry, and must help with anna to the limit of one's capacity, even a hungry animal, to whatever extent one's buddhi, body and finances allow. It is said that doing this pleases Bhagavati quickly, and he explains why: in the sadhana of Annapurna and Shakambhari Durga she takes the sadhak's examination through this very form, and when you satisfy someone's hunger it is Bhagavati herself who, satisfied, bestows Kripa.
Symbolic bali after the Kali kavach path because of its samhar bija
The speaker says that because the kavach uses the samhar bija many times — a bija that, true to its name, moves like a sword — a symbolic Bali becomes necessary after the path. The sattvik kind is Jeev Seva, which falls under Panchbali: roti to crows, food to cows and dogs, flour to ants, done without fail. Besides that, light a fire and burn at least two camphors, with two cloves on one in the name of Bhagavati Kali and two on the other in the name of Kaal Bhairava. If you are doing 100 paths a day, then before the camphor bring two raw green lemons, cut them upright and offer them as Nimbu Bali on two mandals drawn on a plate or the ground (the mandal is shown in the channel's video on offering bali); this keeps the kavach's energy balanced between your ishta and you so no sharp effect falls on you. Then burn the cloves on camphor before each mandal, do kshama prarthana repeatedly, and dedicate everything to Bhagavati.
Can pashu seva for the pitrs be done during sutak?
Absolutely, the speaker says: in sutak, pashu seva is done in any case. Every day the portion goes out for the cow, the crow and the dog.
Feeding birds, dogs and cows daily during the Datt mala mantra anushthan
As long as the anushthan runs, the speaker says, the sadhak must daily, as he is able, put out grain for birds, feed dogs and feed the cow. His reason: behind Dattatreya stands Gau Mata, dogs sit at his feet and birds fly around him — this swarup of the Lord is wholly dedicated to prakriti, so serving them is essential. If a sadhak feeds the cow daily along with dogs and birds, he says, write it down as 100 percent certain that Dattatreya's full kripa will come within the period of the anushthan itself.
Last day of the Datt mala mantra anushthan: daan to a brahmin and feeding five children
The speaker says that on the last day of whatever sankalp was taken — eleven, twenty-one or twenty-seven days, or Purnima to Amavasya — the sadhak must go to a temple and give daan to a brahmin as he is able: Annadaan together with Dakshina. If possible at least five children must also be fed that day, sweet kheer if possible but in any case fed, whether at the temple or at home. Doing this much, he says, makes the mantra and its shakti extremely teekshna and siddh for the sadhak, so that whenever he uses it in prayog a good result comes.
Should someone of a sannyas parampara take up sabar mantras?
Asked by a questioner of a sannyas parampara whether he too may do the sadhana of sabar mantras, he says: if you wish to do work of lok kalyan, if your interaction is generally with people and you go among them, then by doing sabar mantras you can give benefit to somebody. Otherwise, being of the sannyas parampara, he thinks the questioner should do maximal naam jap of his own ishta aradhya, or whichever sadhana stands in his parampara.
