रत्युद्वासनकालञ्च (ratyudvāsanakālañca) — the time for the dismissal of the riteऔर रति (अनुष्ठान) के उद्वासन का काल·श्रीचक्रस्थितिमेव च (śrīcakrasthitimeva ca) — and the ordering of the Śrīcakraऔर श्रीचक्र की स्थिति·चेष्टां कौलिकशक्तीनां (ceṣṭāṃ kaulikaśaktīnāṃ) — the behaviour of the Kaulika Śaktisकौलिक शक्तियों की चेष्टा·वद मे परमेश्वर (vada me parameśvara) — tell me, O supreme Lordमुझे बताइए, हे परमेश्वर

शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि (śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi) — listen, O Devī, I shall declareसुनो देवि, मैं कहता हूँ·यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि (yanmāṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi) — what you ask of meजो तुम मुझसे पूछती हो·तस्य श्रवणमात्रेण (tasya śravaṇamātreṇa) — by merely hearing itउसके श्रवण मात्र से·जायते दिव्यभावना (jāyate divyabhāvanā) — the divine disposition arisesदिव्य भावना उत्पन्न होती है

आरम्भस्तरुणश्चैव (ārambhastaruṇaścaiva) — ārambha, and taruṇaआरम्भ और तरुण·यौवनं प्रौढमेव च (yauvanaṃ prauḍhameva ca) — yauvana and prauḍhaयौवन और प्रौढ़·तदन्तश्चोन्मनाश्चैव (tadantaśconmanāścaiva) — tadanta and unmanāतदन्त और उन्मना·ततोल्लासश्च सप्तमः (tatollāsaśca saptamaḥ) — and the seventh, the ullāsa beyondऔर सातवाँ, उससे परे का उल्लास

तत्त्वत्रयं स्यादारम्भः (tattvatrayaṃ syādārambhaḥ) — the three tattvas are the ārambhaतत्त्वत्रय आरम्भ है·कथितः कुलनायिके (kathitaḥ kulanāyike) — so it is declared, O mistress of the Kulaऐसा कहा गया, हे कुलनायिके·कथितस्तरुणोल्लासः (kathitastaruṇollāsaḥ) — the taruṇa ullāsa is declaredतरुण उल्लास कहा गया·तरुणं सुखमम्बिके (taruṇaṃ sukhamambike) — as the fresh pleasure, O Ambikāतरुण (ताज़ा) सुख, हे अम्बिके

यौवनं मनसः सम्यगुल्लासः (yauvanaṃ manasaḥ samyagullāsaḥ) — yauvana is the full exhilaration of the mindयौवन मन का सम्यक् उल्लास है·सुस्थितिः प्रिये (susthitiḥ priye) — a state of well-being, O belovedसुस्थिति, हे प्रिये·स्खलनं दृङ्मनोवाचां (skhalanaṃ dṛṅmanovācāṃ) — faltering of sight, mind and speechदृष्टि, मन, वाणी का स्खलन·प्रौढमित्यभिधीयते (prauḍhamityabhidhīyate) — is called prauḍhaप्रौढ़ कहा जाता है

समुल्लासपरे चक्रे (samullāsapare cakre) — in a cakra given to full exhilarationसमुल्लास-परायण चक्र में·य इच्छेत् पात्रमेलनम् (ya icchet pātramelanam) — one who wishes the mingling of vesselsजो पात्र-मेलन चाहे·अर्वाक् प्रौढसमुल्लासं (arvāk prauḍhasamullāsaṃ) — before the full exhilaration of prauḍhaप्रौढ़ समुल्लास से पहले·नैव कुर्यात् कदाचन (naiva kuryāt kadācana) — should never do itकभी न करे·यथाधिकारं तत्रापि (yathādhikāraṃ tatrāpi) — even there, according to one's standingवहाँ भी अधिकार के अनुसार·कर्त्तव्यं पात्रमेलनम् (karttavyaṃ pātramelanam) — the mingling of vessels is to be doneपात्र-मेलन करना चाहिए

अदीक्षितैरनाचारैः (adīkṣitairanācāraiḥ) — with the uninitiated, those without conductअदीक्षितों, अनाचारियों से·अतन्त्रज्ञदैवतैः (atantrajñadaivataiḥ) — those who know neither tantra nor deityतन्त्र और देवता न जानने वालों से·दूषकैः समयभ्रष्टैः (dūṣakaiḥ samayabhraṣṭaiḥ) — with defilers, those fallen from the rulesदूषकों, समय-भ्रष्टों से·न कुर्याद् द्रव्यसङ्गतिम् (na kuryād dravyasaṅgatim) — one should not share the substanceद्रव्य-संगति न करे

अभिज्ञं मन्यमानैश्च (abhijñaṃ manyamānaiśca) — with those who think themselves knowingअपने को अभिज्ञ मानने वालों से·प्रपञ्चव्रतधारिभिः (prapañcavratadhāribhiḥ) — those who keep vows for showदिखावे के व्रत धारण करने वालों से·पशुभिः क्षुद्रकर्मस्थैः (paśubhiḥ kṣudrakarmasthaiḥ) — with paśus engaged in petty ritesक्षुद्र कर्मों में लगे पशुओं से·न कुर्याद् द्रव्यसङ्गतिम् (na kuryād dravyasaṅgatim) — one should not share the substanceद्रव्य-संगति न करे

स्त्रीद्विष्टैर्गुरुभिः शप्तैः (strīdviṣṭairgurubhiḥ śaptaiḥ) — with those hated by women, cursed by gurusस्त्री-द्वेषियों, गुरु-शापितों से·भक्तिहीनैर्दुरात्मभिः (bhaktihīnairdurātmabhiḥ) — devoid of devotion, wicked-souledभक्तिहीन, दुरात्माओं से·कुलोपदेशहीनैश्च (kulopadeśahīnaiśca) — and those without the Kula teachingऔर कुल-उपदेश से हीनों से·न कुर्याद् द्रव्यसङ्गतिम् (na kuryād dravyasaṅgatim) — one should not share the substanceद्रव्य-संगति न करे

पदवाक्यप्रमाणज्ञाः (padavākyapramāṇajñāḥ) — knowers of grammar, logic and epistemologyपद, वाक्य, प्रमाण के ज्ञाता·श्रुतिस्मृत्यर्थवेदिनः (śrutismṛtyarthavedinaḥ) — knowers of the meaning of śruti and smṛtiश्रुति-स्मृति के अर्थ के ज्ञाता·कुलधर्मानभिज्ञाश्चेत् (kuladharmānabhijñāścet) — if they are ignorant of the Kula dharmaयदि कुलधर्म से अनभिज्ञ हों·तत्सङ्गं परिवर्जयेत् (tatsaṅgaṃ parivarjayet) — one should shun their companyतो उनका संग त्याग दे

सत्कुले च प्रसूता वा (satkule ca prasūtā vā) — born in a good familyया सत्कुल में जन्मे·वृद्धाश्चाचारवर्तिनः (vṛddhāścācāravartinaḥ) — elders, following right conductवृद्ध और आचार में चलने वाले·त्वत्पूजाविमुखाः स्युश्चेत् (tvatpūjāvimukhāḥ syuścet) — if they are averse to your worshipयदि तुम्हारी पूजा से विमुख हों·तत्संसर्गं परित्यजेत् (tatsaṃsargaṃ parityajet) — one should give up their companyतो उनका संसर्ग त्याग दे

स्त्रीपुत्रमित्रबन्धूनां (strīputramitrabandhūnāṃ) — of wife, sons, friends and kinस्त्री, पुत्र, मित्र, बन्धुओं का·स्निग्धानामपि पार्वति (snigdhānāmapi pārvati) — even though affectionate, O Pārvatīस्नेही होने पर भी, हे पार्वति·कुलाचारानभिज्ञानां (kulācārānabhijñānāṃ) — ignorant of the Kula conductकुलाचार से अनभिज्ञों की·सङ्गतिं वर्जयेत्प्रिये (saṅgatiṃ varjayetpriye) — one should avoid the company, O belovedसंगति त्याग दे, हे प्रिये

अदृष्टपौरुषाणाञ्च (adṛṣṭapauruṣāṇāñca) — of those whose worth has not been seenऔर जिनका पौरुष देखा न गया·देशान्तरनिवासिनाम् (deśāntaranivāsinām) — dwellers in another landदेशान्तर में रहने वालों से·विना सङ्केतयोगेन (vinā saṅketayogena) — without the exchange of the signसंकेत-योग के बिना·न कुर्याद् द्रव्यसङ्गतिम् (na kuryād dravyasaṅgatim) — one should not share the substanceद्रव्य-संगति न करे

एकपात्रं न कुर्वीत (ekapātraṃ na kurvīta) — one should not use a single vesselएक पात्र न करे·यदि साक्षात् कुलेश्वरः (yadi sākṣāt kuleśvaraḥ) — even if he be the Lord of the Kula himselfयदि साक्षात् कुलेश्वर भी हो·मन्त्राः पराङ्मुखा यान्ति (mantrāḥ parāṅmukhā yānti) — the mantras turn their faces awayमन्त्र विमुख हो जाते हैं·विघ्नश्चैव पदे पदे (vighnaścaiva pade pade) — and there is obstruction at every stepऔर पद-पद पर विघ्न

स्वपात्रस्थितहेतुञ्च (svapātrasthitahetuñca) — the wine standing in one's own vesselऔर अपने पात्र में स्थित हेतु (मद्य)·न दद्याद्भैरवाय च (na dadyādbhairavāya ca) — one should not give even to Bhairavaभैरव को भी न दे·यदि दद्यात्कुलेशानि (yadi dadyātkuleśāni) — if one gives, O queen of the Kulaयदि दे, हे कुलेशानि·देवताशापमाप्नुयात् (devatāśāpamāpnuyāt) — one incurs the curse of the deitiesतो देवताओं का शाप पाता है

आसनं भोजनं पात्रम् (āsanaṃ bhojanaṃ pātram) — seat, food, vesselआसन, भोजन, पात्र·अम्बरं शयनादिकम् (ambaraṃ śayanādikam) — garment, bed and the likeवस्त्र, शयन आदि·अनभिज्ञैरनर्हैश्च (anabhijñairanarhaiśca) — with the ignorant and the unworthyअनभिज्ञों और अनधिकारियों से·सङ्गमं नैव कारयेत् (saṅgamaṃ naiva kārayet) — one should never shareकभी साझा न करे

स्रोतोभेदेन वा कुर्यात् (srotobhedena vā kuryāt) — or according to the division of streamsया स्रोत-भेद से करे·कौलिकः पात्रमेलनम् (kaulikaḥ pātramelanam) — the Kaulika should do the mingling of vesselsकौलिक पात्र-मेलन·पूर्वदक्षिणयोरैक्यम् (pūrvadakṣiṇayoraikyam) — the eastern and southern are oneपूर्व और दक्षिण की एकता·उदक्पश्चिमयोस्तथा (udakpaścimayostathā) — likewise the northern and westernउत्तर और पश्चिम की वैसे ही

तस्मिन् क्रमार्चनपरैः (tasmin kramārcanaparaiḥ) — there, with those devoted to the ordered worshipउसमें क्रमार्चन-परायणों से·वीरैः स्वसदृशैरपि (vīraiḥ svasadṛśairapi) — with heroes who are one's equalsअपने समान वीरों से भी·कामिनीभिश्च तत्कुर्यात् (kāminībhiśca tatkuryāt) — and with the women, one should do itऔर कामिनियों से वह करे·स्रोतसाञ्च चतुष्टये (srotasāñca catuṣṭaye) — even across the four streamsचारों स्रोतों में भी

योगिभिर्योगिनीभिश्च (yogibhiryoginībhiśca) — by yogins and yoginīsयोगियों और योगिनियों द्वारा·प्रदत्तं पूर्णपात्रकम् (pradattaṃ pūrṇapātrakam) — a full vessel givenदिया गया पूर्णपात्र·स्वमातृपादुकामूलमन्त्रजप्तं (svamātṛpādukāmūlamantrajaptaṃ) — consecrated with one's own Mātṛ-pādukā and root mantraअपनी मातृ-पादुका और मूलमन्त्र से जपा हुआ·पिबेत्प्रिये (pibetpriye) — one should drink, O belovedपिए, हे प्रिये

क्वचित् यदृच्छया प्राप्तम् (kvacit yadṛcchayā prāptam) — somewhere obtained by chanceकहीं यदृच्छा से प्राप्त·अलिपात्रन्तु भक्तितः (alipātrantu bhaktitaḥ) — a vessel of wine, with devotionमद्यपात्र, भक्ति से·आदाय पूर्ववज्जप्त्वा (ādāya pūrvavajjaptvā) — having taken it and consecrated as beforeलेकर पूर्ववत् जपकर·पिबेद्देवि गुरुं स्मरन् (pibeddevi guruṃ smaran) — one should drink, O Devī, remembering the guruपिए, हे देवि, गुरु का स्मरण करते

गुरुशक्तिसुतानाञ्च (guruśaktisutānāñca) — of the guru, his Śakti and his sonsगुरु, उनकी शक्ति और पुत्रों का·गुरुज्येष्ठकनिष्ठयोः (gurujyeṣṭhakaniṣṭhayoḥ) — of the guru's seniors and juniorsगुरु के ज्येष्ठ और कनिष्ठ का·स्वज्येष्ठस्यापि चोच्छिष्टं (svajyeṣṭhasyāpi cocchiṣṭaṃ) — and the leavings of one's own seniorऔर अपने ज्येष्ठ का भी उच्छिष्ट·खादेन्नान्यस्य पार्वति (khādennānyasya pārvati) — one may eat — not another's, O Pārvatīखाए — अन्य का नहीं, हे पार्वति

शक्त्युच्छिष्टं पिबेद् द्रव्यं (śaktyucchiṣṭaṃ pibed dravyaṃ) — one may drink the substance left by the Śaktiशक्ति का उच्छिष्ट द्रव्य पिए·वीरोच्छिष्टञ्च चर्वणम् (vīrocchiṣṭañca carvaṇam) — and eat what is left by a heroऔर वीर का उच्छिष्ट चर्वण (खाए)·आत्मोच्छिष्टं न दातव्यं (ātmocchiṣṭaṃ na dātavyaṃ) — one's own leavings must not be givenअपना उच्छिष्ट न दे·परकीयं न भक्षयेत् (parakīyaṃ na bhakṣayet) — nor another's eatenऔर दूसरे का न खाए

उच्छिष्टं भक्षयेत् स्त्रीणां (ucchiṣṭaṃ bhakṣayet strīṇāṃ) — one may eat the leavings of womenस्त्रियों का उच्छिष्ट खाए·ताभ्यो नोच्छिष्टमर्पयेत् (tābhyo nocchiṣṭamarpayet) — but should not offer them one's leavingsपर उन्हें अपना उच्छिष्ट न दे·चक्रमध्येऽपि देवेशि (cakramadhye'pi deveśi) — even within the cakra, O queen of godsचक्र के मध्य में भी, हे देवेशि·अन्यथा पतनं भवेत् (anyathā patanaṃ bhavet) — otherwise there is a fallअन्यथा पतन होता है

कनिष्ठानां स्वशिष्याणां (kaniṣṭhānāṃ svaśiṣyāṇāṃ) — to juniors and one's own disciplesकनिष्ठों और अपने शिष्यों को·दद्यादुच्छिष्टमम्बिके (dadyāducchiṣṭamambike) — one may give one's leavings, O Ambikāउच्छिष्ट दे सकता है, हे अम्बिके·दद्यात् स्नेहेन योऽन्येभ्यः (dadyāt snehena yo'nyebhyaḥ) — one who gives them to others out of affectionजो स्नेह से दूसरों को दे·स भवेदापदाम्पदम् (sa bhavedāpadāmpadam) — he becomes a seat of calamitiesवह आपदाओं का घर बनता है

आसवोच्छिष्टपात्रन्तु (āsavocchiṣṭapātrantu) — a vessel of leftover liquorआसव का उच्छिष्ट पात्र·यो वा गृह्णाति मोहतः (yo vā gṛhṇāti mohataḥ) — one who takes through delusionजो मोह से ग्रहण करता है·स्नेहाल्लोभात् भयाद्वापि (snehāllobhāt bhayādvāpi) — out of affection, greed or fearस्नेह, लोभ या भय से भी·देवताशापमाप्नुयात् (devatāśāpamāpnuyāt) — incurs the curse of the deitiesदेवताओं का शाप पाता है

प्रौढोल्लासे कुलेशानि (prauḍhollāse kuleśāni) — in the prauḍha ullāsa, O queen of the Kulaप्रौढ़ोल्लास में, हे कुलेशानि·कुर्याद्बलिविसर्जनम् (kuryādbalivisarjanam) — one should perform the dismissal-baliबलि-विसर्जन करे·पूजागृहाद्बहिः कुर्यात् (pūjāgṛhādbahiḥ kuryāt) — one should do it outside the worship-roomपूजागृह से बाहर करे·त्रिकोणे तु गृहान्तरे (trikoṇe tu gṛhāntare) — in a triangle within another roomदूसरे घर में त्रिकोण में

गन्धपुष्पाक्षतैः पूज्य (gandhapuṣpākṣataiḥ pūjya) — having worshipped with scents, flowers and grainsगन्ध, पुष्प, अक्षत से पूजकर·ध्यायेदुच्छिष्टभैरवम् (dhyāyeducchiṣṭabhairavam) — one should meditate on Ucchiṣṭa-Bhairavaउच्छिष्ट-भैरव का ध्यान करे·गदात्रिशूलडमरुपात्रहस्तं (gadātriśūlaḍamarupātrahastaṃ) — with mace, trident, ḍamaru and bowl in his handsगदा, त्रिशूल, डमरू, पात्र हाथों में·त्रिलोचनम् (trilocanam) — three-eyedत्रिलोचन·कृष्णाभं भैरवं ध्यायेत् (kṛṣṇābhaṃ bhairavaṃ dhyāyet) — one should meditate on Bhairava, dark in hueकृष्ण आभा वाले भैरव का ध्यान करे·सर्वविघ्ननिवारणम् (sarvavighnanivāraṇam) — the remover of all obstaclesसब विघ्नों का निवारण करने वाले

तारत्रयं समुच्चार्य (tāratrayaṃ samuccārya) — having uttered the three tārasतारत्रय उच्चारण कर·पश्चादुच्छिष्टभैरवम् (paścāducchiṣṭabhairavam) — then "ucchiṣṭabhairava"फिर "उच्छिष्टभैरव"·एहियुग्मं बलिं गृह्णयुग्मं (ehiyugmaṃ baliṃ gṛhṇayugmaṃ) — "ehi ehi baliṃ gṛhṇa gṛhṇa""एहि एहि बलिं गृह्ण गृह्ण"·फट् च द्विठान्तकः (phaṭ ca dviṭhāntakaḥ) — "phaṭ", and ending with the double ṭha"फट्", और दो ठ (स्वाहा) पर समाप्त

बल्युद्वासनमन्त्रोऽयं (balyudvāsanamantro'yaṃ) — this is the mantra for dismissing the baliयह बलि-उद्वासन मन्त्र है·द्वाविंशतिभिरक्षरैः (dvāviṃśatibhirakṣaraiḥ) — of twenty-two syllablesबाईस अक्षरों का·शान्तिस्तवं पठेत्पश्चात् (śāntistavaṃ paṭhetpaścāt) — afterwards one should recite the hymn of peaceफिर शान्तिस्तव पढ़े·तर्पयेदलिबिन्दुभिः (tarpayedalibindubhiḥ) — and offer drops of wineऔर मद्य-बिन्दुओं से तर्पण करे

यजन्ति देव्यो हरपादपङ्कजम् (yajanti devyo harapādapaṅkajam) — the goddesses worship the lotus-feet of Haraदेवियाँ हर के पादपंकज की पूजा करती हैं·प्रसन्नधामामृतमोक्षदायकम् (prasannadhāmāmṛtamokṣadāyakam) — the abode of grace, bestower of nectar and liberationप्रसन्नता का धाम, अमृत और मोक्ष देने वाला·अनन्तसिद्धान्तमयप्रबोधकं (anantasiddhāntamayaprabodhakaṃ) — awakener of the endless siddhāntaअनन्त सिद्धान्तमय बोध जगाने वाला·नमामि चाष्टाष्टकयोगिनीगणम् (namāmi cāṣṭāṣṭakayoginīgaṇam) — I bow to the host of the sixty-four Yoginīsमैं चौंसठ योगिनियों के गण को नमन करता हूँ

योगिनीचक्रमध्यस्थं (yoginīcakramadhyasthaṃ) — standing in the midst of the Yoginī-cakraयोगिनी-चक्र के मध्य में स्थित·मातृमण्डलवेष्टितम् (mātṛmaṇḍalaveṣṭitam) — surrounded by the circle of Mothersमातृ-मण्डल से घिरे·नमामि शिरसा नाथं (namāmi śirasā nāthaṃ) — I bow my head to the Lordमैं सिर से नाथ को नमन करता हूँ·भैरवं भैरवीप्रियम् (bhairavaṃ bhairavīpriyam) — Bhairava, beloved of Bhairavīभैरव, भैरवी के प्रिय

अनादिघोरसंसार- (anādighorasaṃsāra-) — of the beginningless dreadful saṃsāraअनादि घोर संसार के·ध्वान्तैकध्वंसकारिणे (dhvāntaikadhvaṃsakāriṇe) — the sole destroyer of the darknessअन्धकार के एकमात्र ध्वंसक·नमः श्रीनाथवैद्याय (namaḥ śrīnāthavaidyāya) — homage to the blessed Lord-physicianश्रीनाथ-वैद्य को नमः·कुलौषधिविधायिने (kulauṣadhividhāyine) — who prescribes the Kula medicineकुल-औषधि का विधान करने वाले

आपदो दुरितं रोगाः (āpado duritaṃ rogāḥ) — calamities, sin, diseasesआपदाएँ, पाप, रोग·समयाचारलङ्घनात् (samayācāralaṅghanāt) — arising from transgression of the rules of conductसमयाचार के उल्लंघन से·ये ते सर्वे व्यपोहन्तु (ye te sarve vyapohantu) — may all those be dispelledवे सब दूर हों·दिव्यचक्रस्य मेलनात् (divyacakrasya melanāt) — through the gathering of the divine cakraदिव्य चक्र के मेलन से

आयुरारोग्यमैश्वर्यं (āyurārogyamaiśvaryaṃ) — life, health, lordshipआयु, आरोग्य, ऐश्वर्य·कीर्तिर्लाभः सुखं जयः (kīrtirlābhaḥ sukhaṃ jayaḥ) — fame, gain, happiness, victoryकीर्ति, लाभ, सुख, जय·कान्तिर्मनोहरा चास्तु (kāntirmanoharā cāstu) — and charming beauty — may these beऔर मनोहर कान्ति हो·पान्तु सर्वाश्च देवताः (pāntu sarvāśca devatāḥ) — and may all the deities protectऔर सब देवता रक्षा करें

सम्पूजकानां प्रतिपालकानां (sampūjakānāṃ pratipālakānāṃ) — of the worshippers, of the protectorsपूजकों की, प्रतिपालकों की·यतीन्द्रयोगीन्द्रतपोधनानाम् (yatīndrayogīndratapodhanānām) — of the great ascetics, great yogins and men of austerityयतीन्द्रों, योगीन्द्रों, तपोधनों की·देशस्य राष्ट्रस्य कुलस्य राज्ञः (deśasya rāṣṭrasya kulasya rājñaḥ) — of the land, the realm, the family and the kingदेश, राष्ट्र, कुल और राजा की·करोतु शान्तिं भगवान् कुलेशः (karotu śāntiṃ bhagavān kuleśaḥ) — may the blessed Lord of the Kula grant peaceभगवान् कुलेश शान्ति करें

नन्दन्तु साधककुलाद्वयदर्शका ये (nandantu sādhakakulādvayadarśakā ye) — may they rejoice — the sādhakas who see the Kula non-dualityआनन्दित हों — कुल-अद्वय के दर्शक साधक·सिंहासनाद्युषितशाक्तमहान्वया ये (siṃhāsanādyuṣitaśāktamahānvayā ye) — those of the great Śākta lineages seated on the lion-throne and the restसिंहासन आदि पर स्थित महान् शाक्त वंश वाले·नन्दन्तु सर्वकुलकौलरताः परे ये (nandantu sarvakulakaularatāḥ pare ye) — may they rejoice — the supreme ones devoted to all the Kula and Kaula waysआनन्दित हों — सर्व कुल-कौल में रत परम (साधक)·चान्ये विशेषपदभेदकशाम्भवा ये (cānye viśeṣapadabhedakaśāmbhavā ye) — and the other Śāmbhavas who discern the distinctions of the special statesऔर अन्य शाम्भव जो विशेष पदों के भेद जानते हैं

नन्दन्तु सिद्धगुरवस्तदनुक्रमज्ञा (nandantu siddhaguravastadanukramajñā) — may the siddha-gurus rejoice, the knowers of that successionआनन्दित हों सिद्ध-गुरु, उस क्रम के ज्ञाता·ज्येष्ठान्वया समयिनो वटुकाः कुमार्यः (jyeṣṭhānvayā samayino vaṭukāḥ kumāryaḥ) — the senior lineages, the samayins, the Vaṭukas, the maidensज्येष्ठ वंश, समयी, वटुक, कुमारियाँ·ये योगिनीप्रवरवीरकुले प्रसूता (ye yoginīpravaravīrakule prasūtā) — those born in the family of the foremost Yoginīs and heroesजो योगिनी-श्रेष्ठ वीर-कुल में जन्मे·नन्दन्तु भूमिपतिगोद्विजसाधुलोकाः (nandantu bhūmipatigodvijasādhulokāḥ) — may kings, cows, brāhmaṇas and the good rejoiceआनन्दित हों राजा, गौ, द्विज, साधु लोक

नन्दन्तु नीतिनिपुणा निरवद्यनिष्ठा (nandantu nītinipuṇā niravadyaniṣṭhā) — may they rejoice — the skilled in policy, of blameless devotionआनन्दित हों — नीति-निपुण, निरवद्य निष्ठा वाले·निर्मत्सरा निरुपमा निरुपद्रवाश्च (nirmatsarā nirupamā nirupadravāśca) — without envy, without equal, without afflictionमात्सर्य-रहित, अनुपम, उपद्रव-रहित·नित्यं निरञ्जनरता गुरवो निरीहाः (nityaṃ nirañjanaratā guravo nirīhāḥ) — the gurus ever devoted to the Stainless, free of desireनित्य निरंजन में रत, निरीह गुरु·शान्ताश्च शान्तमनसो हृतशोकशङ्काः (śāntāśca śāntamanaso hṛtaśokaśaṅkāḥ) — tranquil, of tranquil mind, rid of sorrow and doubtशान्त, शान्त मन वाले, शोक-शंका से रहित

नन्दन्तु योगनिरताः कुलयोगयुक्ता (nandantu yoganiratāḥ kulayogayuktā) — may they rejoice — those devoted to yoga, joined to the Kula yogaआनन्दित हों — योग में रत, कुलयोग से युक्त·ह्याचार्यसामयिकसाधकपुत्रकाश्च (hyācāryasāmayikasādhakaputrakāśca) — the ācāryas, samayins, sādhakas and putrakasआचार्य, समयी, साधक और पुत्रक·गावो द्विजा युवतयो यतयः कुमार्यो (gāvo dvijā yuvatayo yatayaḥ kumāryo) — cows, brāhmaṇas, young women, ascetics, maidensगौ, द्विज, युवतियाँ, यति, कुमारियाँ·धर्मे चरन्तु निरता गुरुभक्तलोकाः (dharme carantu niratā gurubhaktalokāḥ) — may the devotees of the guru walk devoted in dharmaगुरुभक्त लोक धर्म में निरत होकर चलें

नन्दन्तु साधककुला ह्यलमात्मनिष्ठाः (nandantu sādhakakulā hyalamātmaniṣṭhāḥ) — may the families of sādhakas rejoice, wholly established in the Selfआनन्दित हों साधक-कुल, पूर्णतः आत्मनिष्ठ·शापाः पतन्तु समयद्विषि योगिनीनाम् (śāpāḥ patantu samayadviṣi yoginīnām) — may the curses of the Yoginīs fall on the hater of the rulesसमय-द्वेषी पर योगिनियों के शाप गिरें·सा शाम्भवी स्फुरतु कापि ममाप्यवस्था (sā śāmbhavī sphuratu kāpi mamāpyavasthā) — may that ineffable Śāmbhavī state flash forth in me tooवह अनिर्वचनीय शाम्भवी अवस्था मुझमें भी स्फुरित हो·यस्यां गुरोश्चरणपङ्कजमेव सत्यम् (yasyāṃ guroścaraṇapaṅkajameva satyam) — in which the lotus-feet of the guru alone are realजिसमें गुरु के चरण-कमल ही सत्य हैं

याश्चक्रक्रमभूमिकावसतयो (yāścakrakramabhūmikāvasatayo) — those who dwell in the stages of the cakra-orderजो चक्र-क्रम की भूमिकाओं में रहती हैं·नाडीषु याः संस्थिता (nāḍīṣu yāḥ saṃsthitā) — those established in the nāḍīsजो नाड़ियों में स्थित हैं·याः कायोद्गतरोमकूपनिलया (yāḥ kāyodgataromakūpanilayā) — those abiding in the hair-pores of the bodyजो शरीर के रोमकूपों में रहती हैं·याः संस्थिता धातुषु (yāḥ saṃsthitā dhātuṣu) — those established in the bodily elementsजो धातुओं में स्थित हैं·उच्छ्वासोर्मिमरुत्तरङ्गनिलया (ucchvāsormimaruttaraṅganilayā) — those abiding in the waves of the out-breath and the breezeउच्छ्वास की लहर और वायु की तरंग में रहने वाली·निश्वासवासाश्च याः (niśvāsavāsāśca yāḥ) — and those dwelling in the in-breathऔर जो निःश्वास में बसती हैं·ता देव्यो रिपुपक्षभक्षणरता (tā devyo ripupakṣabhakṣaṇaratā) — those goddesses who delight in devouring the enemy's sideवे देवियाँ, शत्रु-पक्ष के भक्षण में रत·नन्दन्तु कौलार्चिताः (nandantu kaulārcitāḥ) — may they rejoice, worshipped by the Kaulasआनन्दित हों, कौलों से पूजित

यद्येषा भैरवी देवी (yadyeṣā bhairavī devī) — if this is the goddess Bhairavīयदि यह भैरवी देवी है·यदि भैरवशासनम् (yadi bhairavaśāsanam) — if this is the teaching of Bhairavaयदि यह भैरव का शासन है·यद्येष कुलधर्मः स्यात् (yadyeṣa kuladharmaḥ syāt) — if this is the Kula dharmaयदि यह कुलधर्म है·तदा नश्यन्तु दूषकाः (tadā naśyantu dūṣakāḥ) — then may the defilers perishतो दूषक नष्ट हों

तृप्यन्तु मातरः सर्वाः (tṛpyantu mātaraḥ sarvāḥ) — may all the Mothers be satisfiedसब मातृकाएँ तृप्त हों·समुद्राः सगणाधिपाः (samudrāḥ sagaṇādhipāḥ) — the oceans, with the lords of the gaṇasसमुद्र, गणाधिपों सहित·योगिन्यः क्षेत्रपालाश्च (yoginyaḥ kṣetrapālāśca) — the Yoginīs and the Kṣetrapālasयोगिनियाँ और क्षेत्रपाल·मम देहे व्यवस्थिताः (mama dehe vyavasthitāḥ) — established in my bodyमेरे देह में स्थित

शिवाद्यवनिपर्यन्तं (śivādyavaniparyantaṃ) — from Śiva down to the earthशिव से पृथ्वी तक·ब्रह्मादिस्तम्बसंयुतम् (brahmādistambasaṃyutam) — from Brahmā down to a tuft of grassब्रह्मा से तिनके तक·कालाग्न्यादिशिवान्तञ्च (kālāgnyādiśivāntañca) — from the fire of time up to Śivaकालाग्नि से शिव तक·जगद् यज्ञेन तृप्यतु (jagad yajñena tṛpyatu) — may the universe be satisfied by this sacrificeजगत् इस यज्ञ से तृप्त हो

पठित्वाभ्यर्चनापात्रं (paṭhitvābhyarcanāpātraṃ) — having recited, the vessel of worshipपढ़कर, अर्चना का पात्र·समुद्धृत्य गुरुः प्रिये (samuddhṛtya guruḥ priye) — having raised, the guru, O belovedउठाकर गुरु, हे प्रिये·ततो दद्यात् स्वशिष्याय (tato dadyāt svaśiṣyāya) — should then give to his discipleफिर अपने शिष्य को दे·प्रसादं कुलनायिके (prasādaṃ kulanāyike) — as grace, O mistress of the Kulaप्रसाद रूप में, हे कुलनायिके

स्वाभीष्टचेष्टाचरणं (svābhīṣṭaceṣṭācaraṇaṃ) — acting according to one's own desireअपनी इच्छा के अनुसार चेष्टा·प्रौढान्तः परिकीर्तितः (prauḍhāntaḥ parikīrtitaḥ) — is proclaimed the prauḍhāntaप्रौढ़ान्त कहा गया है·प्रौढान्तोल्लासिताद्देवि (prauḍhāntollāsitāddevi) — from being exhilarated in the prauḍhānta, O Devīप्रौढ़ान्त में उल्लसित होने से, हे देवि·मुदिते योगिमण्डले (mudite yogimaṇḍale) — when the circle of yogins is gladयोगि-मण्डल के मुदित होने पर·योगिनीमण्डले चैव (yoginīmaṇḍale caiva) — and the circle of yoginīsऔर योगिनी-मण्डल के·क्रमादानन्दमुच्यते (kramādānandamucyate) — in due course, it is called ānandaक्रम से आनन्द कहलाता है

तदारूढेषु वीरेषु (tadārūḍheṣu vīreṣu) — for heroes who have ascended to thatउसमें आरूढ़ वीरों के लिए·कार्याकार्यं न विद्यते (kāryākāryaṃ na vidyate) — there is no "to be done" or "not to be done"कार्य-अकार्य नहीं है·इच्छैव शास्त्रसम्पत्तिः (icchaiva śāstrasampattiḥ) — will itself is the fulfilment of the śāstraइच्छा ही शास्त्र की सम्पत्ति है·इत्याज्ञा परमेश्वरि (ityājñā parameśvari) — this is the command, O supreme Goddessयह आज्ञा है, हे परमेश्वरि

तत्र यद् यत् कृतं कर्म (tatra yad yat kṛtaṃ karma) — there, whatever deed is doneवहाँ जो-जो कर्म किया गया·शुभं वा यदि वाऽशुभम् (śubhaṃ vā yadi vā'śubham) — good or badशुभ या अशुभ·तत्सर्वं देवताप्रीत्यै (tatsarvaṃ devatāprītyai) — all that is for the pleasure of the deityवह सब देवता की प्रीति के लिए·जायते सुरसुन्दरि (jāyate surasundari) — it comes to be, O beauty among the godsहो जाता है, हे सुरसुन्दरि

जल्पो जपफलं (jalpo japaphalaṃ) — chatter has the fruit of japaजल्प (बकवास) जप का फल है·तन्द्रा समाधिरभिजायते (tandrā samādhirabhijāyate) — drowsiness becomes samādhiतन्द्रा समाधि हो जाती है·विक्रिया पूजनं देवि (vikriyā pūjanaṃ devi) — agitation is worship, O Devīविकार पूजन है, हे देवि·उदितं भैरवीबलिः (uditaṃ bhairavībaliḥ) — vomiting is the bali to Bhairavīवमन भैरवी-बलि है

मुक्तिः स्याच्छक्तिसंयोगः (muktiḥ syācchaktisaṃyogaḥ) — union with the Śakti is liberationशक्ति-संयोग मुक्ति है·स्तोत्रं तत्कालभाषितम् (stotraṃ tatkālabhāṣitam) — what is spoken at that time is a hymnउस समय बोला गया स्तोत्र है·न्यासोऽवयवसंस्पर्शो (nyāso'vayavasaṃsparśo) — touching the limbs is nyāsaअंगों का स्पर्श न्यास है·भोजनं हवनक्रिया (bhojanaṃ havanakriyā) — eating is the rite of oblationभोजन हवन-क्रिया है

वीक्षणं ध्यानमीशानि (vīkṣaṇaṃ dhyānamīśāni) — gazing is meditation, O Goddessवीक्षण ध्यान है, हे ईशानि·शयनं वन्दनं भवेत् (śayanaṃ vandanaṃ bhavet) — lying down is prostrationशयन वन्दन है·तदुल्लासे कृता नाना (tadullāse kṛtā nānā) — in that ullāsa the variousउस उल्लास में की गई नाना·या चेष्टा सा च सत्क्रिया (yā ceṣṭā sā ca satkriyā) — acts that are done are all righteous actionजो चेष्टा है वह सत्क्रिया है·कार्याकार्यविचारन्तु (kāryākāryavicārantu) — but the weighing of "to be done" and "not to be done"पर कार्य-अकार्य का विचार·यः करोति स पातकी (yaḥ karoti sa pātakī) — one who makes it is a sinnerजो करता है वह पातकी है

एतच्चक्रगता वीरा (etaccakragatā vīrā) — the heroes in this cakraइस चक्र में स्थित वीर·विज्ञेयाः परयोगिनः (vijñeyāḥ parayoginaḥ) — are to be known as supreme yoginsपरयोगी जानने चाहिए·येनाप्नुवन्ति मनुजाः (yenāpnuvanti manujāḥ) — by which men attainजिससे मनुष्य पाते हैं·साक्षाद्भैरवरूपताम् (sākṣādbhairavarūpatām) — the very form of Bhairavaसाक्षात् भैरव-रूपता

सम्मोदः परमानन्दः (sammodaḥ paramānandaḥ) — gladness is supreme blissसम्मोद (हर्ष) परमानन्द है·पतनं ज्ञानवर्द्धनम् (patanaṃ jñānavarddhanam) — falling is the increase of knowledgeपतन ज्ञान की वृद्धि है·वेणुवीणादिवाद्यञ्च (veṇuvīṇādivādyañca) — playing flute, vīṇā and the likeवेणु, वीणा आदि का वादन·कवितारचनादिकम् (kavitāracanādikam) — composing poetry and the likeकविता-रचना आदि

रोदनं भाषणं पातः (rodanaṃ bhāṣaṇaṃ pātaḥ) — weeping, talking, fallingरोना, बोलना, गिरना·समुत्थानं विजृम्भनम् (samutthānaṃ vijṛmbhanam) — rising up, yawningउठना, जँभाई लेना·गमनं विक्रिया देवि (gamanaṃ vikriyā devi) — walking about, agitation, O Devīचलना, विकार, हे देवि·योग इत्यभिधीयते (yoga ityabhidhīyate) — all this is called yogaयोग कहा जाता है

चक्रेऽस्मिन् योगिनो वीरा (cakre'smin yogino vīrā) — in this cakra the yogins, the heroesइस चक्र में योगी, वीर·योगिन्यो मदमन्थराः (yoginyo madamantharāḥ) — and the yoginīs, languid with intoxicationयोगिनियाँ, मद से मन्थर·समाचरन्ति देवेशि (samācaranti deveśi) — behave, O queen of godsआचरण करते हैं, हे देवेशि·यथोल्लासं मनोगतम् (yathollāsaṃ manogatam) — according to the exhilaration that is in their mindsमन में जैसा उल्लास हो

शनैः पृच्छन्ति पार्श्वस्थान् (śanaiḥ pṛcchanti pārśvasthān) — they softly ask those beside themधीरे पास वालों से पूछते हैं·विस्मृत्यात्मविवक्षितम् (vismṛtyātmavivakṣitam) — having forgotten what they meant to sayअपना कहना भूलकर·निधाय वदने पात्रं (nidhāya vadane pātraṃ) — holding the vessel at the mouthमुख पर पात्र रखकर·निर्विण्णा निवसन्ति च (nirviṇṇā nivasanti ca) — they remain, listlessउदासीन बैठे रहते हैं

मत्ता स्वपुरुषं मत्वा (mattā svapuruṣaṃ matvā) — the intoxicated woman, taking him for her own manमत्त स्त्री अपना पुरुष समझकर·कान्तान्यमवलम्बते (kāntānyamavalambate) — clings to another loverअन्य कान्त का आलिंगन करती है·तथैव पुरुषश्चापि (tathaiva puruṣaścāpi) — and likewise the man tooवैसे ही पुरुष भी·प्रौढान्तोल्लाससंयुतः (prauḍhāntollāsasaṃyutaḥ) — filled with the exhilaration of prauḍhāntaप्रौढ़ान्त उल्लास से युक्त

पुरुषः पुरुषं मोहाद् (puruṣaḥ puruṣaṃ mohād) — a man, through delusion, a manपुरुष पुरुष को मोह से·आलिङ्गत्यनाङ्गनाम् (āliṅgatyanāṅganām) — embraces, thinking her a womanस्त्री समझकर आलिंगन करता है·पृच्छति स्वपतिं मुग्धा (pṛcchati svapatiṃ mugdhā) — the bewildered woman asks her own husbandमुग्ध स्त्री अपने पति से पूछती है·कस्त्वं काहम् इमे च के (kastvaṃ kāham ime ca ke) — "who are you, who am I, and who are these?""तू कौन, मैं कौन, और ये कौन?"

किं कार्यं वयमायाताः (kiṃ kāryaṃ vayamāyātāḥ) — "for what purpose have we come?""किस कार्य से हम आए?"·किमर्थमिह संस्थिताः (kimarthamiha saṃsthitāḥ) — "why are we sitting here?""किसलिए यहाँ बैठे हैं?"·उद्यानं किमिदं हन्त (udyānaṃ kimidaṃ hanta) — "ah, is this a garden?""अरे, क्या यह उद्यान है?"·गृहं किं प्राङ्गणं किमु (gṛhaṃ kiṃ prāṅgaṇaṃ kimu) — "a house? or a courtyard?""घर है? या आँगन?"

मुखे आपूर्य मदिरां (mukhe āpūrya madirāṃ) — filling their mouths with wineमुख में मदिरा भरकर·पाययन्ति स्त्रियः प्रियान् (pāyayanti striyaḥ priyān) — the women make their lovers drinkस्त्रियाँ प्रियों को पिलाती हैं·उपदंशं मुखे क्षिप्त्वा (upadaṃśaṃ mukhe kṣiptvā) — putting a relish into their mouthsउपदंश (चखना) मुख में डालकर·निक्षिपन्ति प्रियानने (nikṣipanti priyānane) — they place it in the lover's mouthप्रिय के मुख में रखती हैं

गृह्णन्त्यन्योन्यपात्राणि (gṛhṇantyanyonyapātrāṇi) — they take one another's vesselsएक-दूसरे के पात्र लेते हैं·व्यञ्जनानि च शाम्भवि (vyañjanāni ca śāmbhavi) — and dishes, O Śāmbhavīऔर व्यंजन, हे शाम्भवि·धृत्वा शिरसि नृत्यन्ति (dhṛtvā śirasi nṛtyanti) — holding on their heads, they danceसिर पर रखकर नाचते हैं·मद्यभाण्डानि योगिनः (madyabhāṇḍāni yoginaḥ) — the wine-jars, the yoginsमद्य-भाण्ड, योगी

अज्ञानकरतालान्तम् (ajñānakaratālāntam) — ending in unknowing hand-clappingअज्ञान में करताल (ताली) के साथ·अस्पष्टाक्षरगीतकम् (aspaṣṭākṣaragītakam) — a song of indistinct syllablesअस्पष्ट अक्षरों का गीत·प्रस्खलत्पदविन्यासं (praskhalatpadavinyāsaṃ) — with stumbling placement of feetलड़खड़ाते पदविन्यास से·नृत्यन्ति कुलशक्तयः (nṛtyanti kulaśaktayaḥ) — the Kula Śaktis danceकुलशक्तियाँ नाचती हैं

योगिनो मदमत्ताश्च (yogino madamattāśca) — the yogins, drunk with intoxicationऔर मद से मत्त योगी·पतन्ति प्रमदोरसि (patanti pramadorasi) — fall on the breasts of the womenस्त्रियों के वक्ष पर गिरते हैं·मदाकुलाश्च योगिन्यः (madākulāśca yoginyaḥ) — and the yoginīs, dazed with intoxicationऔर मद से आकुल योगिनियाँ·पतन्ति पुरुषोपरि (patanti puruṣopari) — fall upon the menपुरुषों पर गिरती हैं

मनोरथसुखं पूर्णं (manorathasukhaṃ pūrṇaṃ) — the full happiness of their heart's desireमनोरथ का पूर्ण सुख·कुर्वन्ति च परस्परम् (kurvanti ca parasparam) — they give to one anotherपरस्पर देते हैं·इत्यादिविविधां चेष्टां (ityādivividhāṃ ceṣṭāṃ) — such and other various behaviourइत्यादि विविध चेष्टा·कुर्वन्ति कुलनायिके (kurvanti kulanāyike) — they perform, O mistress of the Kulaकरते हैं, हे कुलनायिके

विकृतिं मनसो हित्वा (vikṛtiṃ manaso hitvā) — having left behind the distortion of the mindमन के विकार को छोड़कर·यदोल्लासः प्रवर्त्तते (yadollāsaḥ pravarttate) — when the exhilaration proceedsजब उल्लास प्रवृत्त होता है·तदा तु देवताभावं (tadā tu devatābhāvaṃ) — then the state of the deityतब देवताभाव को·भजन्ते योगिपुङ्गवाः (bhajante yogipuṅgavāḥ) — the foremost yogins attainश्रेष्ठ योगी पाते हैं

कौलिकान् भैरवावेशान् (kaulikān bhairavāveśān) — the Kaulikas possessed by Bhairavaभैरव-आवेश वाले कौलिकों की·यो वा निन्दति मूढधीः (yo vā nindati mūḍhadhīḥ) — the fool who reviles themजो मूढ़बुद्धि निन्दा करता है·तं नाशयन्त्यसन्देहं (taṃ nāśayantyasandehaṃ) — him they destroy without doubtउसे निःसन्देह नष्ट कर देती हैं·योगिन्यः कुलनायिके (yoginyaḥ kulanāyike) — the Yoginīs, O mistress of the Kulaयोगिनियाँ, हे कुलनायिके

न निन्देन्न हसेत् क्वापि (na nindenna haset kvāpi) — one should never revile nor laugh atन निन्दा करे, न कहीं हँसे·चक्रे मधुमदालसान् (cakre madhumadālasān) — those in the cakra languid with wineचक्र में मधु-मद से अलसाए हुओं पर·एतच्चक्रगतां वार्त्तां (etaccakragatāṃ vārttāṃ) — what passes in this cakraइस चक्र की बात·बहिर्नैव प्रकाशयेत् (bahirnaiva prakāśayet) — one should never disclose outsideबाहर कभी प्रकाशित न करे

तेभ्यो द्रोहं न कुर्वीत (tebhyo drohaṃ na kurvīta) — one should not do them injuryउनसे द्रोह न करे·नाहितञ्च समाचरेत् (nāhitañca samācaret) — nor act against their goodऔर अहित न करे·भक्त्या सत्कारयेदेतान् (bhaktyā satkārayedetān) — one should honour them with devotionभक्ति से इनका सत्कार करे·गोपयेच्च प्रयत्नतः (gopayecca prayatnataḥ) — and guard them carefullyऔर यत्न से गोपन करे

चक्रे मदाकुलान् दृष्ट्वा (cakre madākulān dṛṣṭvā) — seeing those in the cakra dazed with intoxicationचक्र में मद से आकुलों को देखकर·चिन्तयेद्देवताधिया (cintayeddevatādhiyā) — one should regard them as deitiesदेवता-बुद्धि से चिन्तन करे·मोदते वन्दते भक्त्या (modate vandate bhaktyā) — one who rejoices and salutes with devotionजो भक्ति से हर्षित होता, वन्दन करता है·स गच्छेत् योगिनीपदम् (sa gacchet yoginīpadam) — he goes to the state of the Yoginīsवह योगिनी-पद को जाता है

पश्येदेवम्विधं चक्रं (paśyedevamvidhaṃ cakraṃ) — one who beholds such a cakraऐसे चक्र को जो देखे·यो भक्त्या कौलिकः प्रिये (yo bhaktyā kaulikaḥ priye) — with devotion, the Kaulika, O belovedभक्ति से, कौलिक, हे प्रिये·व्रततीर्थतपोदान- (vratatīrthatapodāna-) — of vows, pilgrimages, austerities, giftsव्रत, तीर्थ, तप, दान·यज्ञकोटिफलं लभेत् (yajñakoṭiphalaṃ labhet) — and sacrifices — he obtains the fruit of a croreयज्ञ — करोड़ का फल पाता है

उन्मनाः पतनोत्थाने (unmanāḥ patanotthāne) — unmanā: falling and risingउन्मना: गिरना-उठना·मूर्च्छना च मुहुर्मुहुः (mūrcchanā ca muhurmuhuḥ) — and swooning again and againऔर बार-बार मूर्च्छा·उन्मनाख्यतदुल्लासे (unmanākhyatadullāse) — in that ullāsa called unmanāउन्मना नामक उस उल्लास में·चक्रे वीरसमर्चिते (cakre vīrasamarcite) — in the cakra worshipped by heroesवीरों से पूजित चक्र में

देहेन्द्रियाणामवशः (dehendriyāṇāmavaśaḥ) — loss of control over body and sensesदेह और इन्द्रियों का अवश होना·समवस्था निगद्यते (samavasthā nigadyate) — is called samavasthāसमवस्था कहलाती है·समवस्थाभिधे तस्मिन् (samavasthābhidhe tasmin) — in that ullāsa called samavasthāसमवस्था नामक उस (उल्लास) में·ततोल्लासे समं भवेत् (tatollāse samaṃ bhavet) — the ullāsa beyond, one becomes evenउससे परे उल्लास में सम हो जाता है

परामन्त्रस्वरूपोऽसौ (parāmantrasvarūpo'sau) — he becomes of the form of the supreme mantraवह परा मन्त्र-स्वरूप हो जाता है·जायते मूर्च्छना परा (jāyate mūrcchanā parā) — the supreme swoon arisesपरा मूर्च्छा उत्पन्न होती है·मूर्च्छनासन्निकर्षो हि (mūrcchanāsannikarṣo hi) — the approach of the swoon indeedमूर्च्छा का सन्निकर्ष ही·मूलमुक्तेः परं विदुः (mūlamukteḥ paraṃ viduḥ) — they know as the supreme root of liberationमुक्ति का परम मूल जानते हैं

अन्तर्लक्ष्यो बहिर्दृष्टिः (antarlakṣyo bahirdṛṣṭiḥ) — the aim within, the gaze withoutलक्ष्य भीतर, दृष्टि बाहर·निमेषोन्मेषवर्जितः (nimeṣonmeṣavarjitaḥ) — free of closing and opening the eyesनिमेष-उन्मेष से रहित·एषा तु शाम्भवी मुद्रा (eṣā tu śāmbhavī mudrā) — this is the Śāmbhavī mudrāयह शाम्भवी मुद्रा है·सर्वतन्त्रेषु गोपिता (sarvatantreṣu gopitā) — kept secret in all the tantrasसब तन्त्रों में गोपित

सर्वोत्तीर्णा सदाऽहन्ता (sarvottīrṇā sadā'hantā) — the ever-transcendent I-nessसर्वोत्तीर्ण सदा-अहन्ता·सामरस्यसमाकृतिः (sāmarasyasamākṛtiḥ) — of the form of onenessसामरस्य की आकृति·अनयोल्लासिनो वीराः (anayollāsino vīrāḥ) — heroes exhilarated by thisइससे उल्लसित वीर·शिवा एव न संशयः (śivā eva na saṃśayaḥ) — are Śiva himself, there is no doubtशिव ही हैं, सन्देह नहीं

नराः किमपि जानन्ति (narāḥ kimapi jānanti) — men know something [ineffable]मनुष्य कुछ (अनिर्वचनीय) जानते हैं·स्वात्मध्यानपरायणाः (svātmadhyānaparāyaṇāḥ) — absorbed in meditation on their own Selfस्वात्म-ध्यान में परायण·तदा यत्परमं सौख्यम् (tadā yatparamaṃ saukhyam) — then, the supreme happiness that isतब जो परम सुख है·इति वक्तुं न शक्यते (iti vaktuṃ na śakyate) — cannot be put into wordsकहना सम्भव नहीं

स्वयमेवानुभूयन्ते (svayamevānubhūyante) — they are experienced only by oneselfस्वयं ही अनुभव किए जाते हैं·शर्कराः क्षीरपानवत् (śarkarāḥ kṣīrapānavat) — like sugar, or the drinking of milkशर्करा या क्षीरपान की तरह·ईदृशं तादृशं सौख्यम् (īdṛśaṃ tādṛśaṃ saukhyam) — "the happiness is like this or like that""सुख ऐसा है, वैसा है"·इति वक्तुं न शक्यते (iti vaktuṃ na śakyate) — cannot be saidकहना सम्भव नहीं·दृश्यते पुलकाद्यैर्यत् (dṛśyate pulakādyairyat) — what is seen through horripilation and the likeजो पुलक (रोमांच) आदि से दिखता है·तद्ब्रह्मध्यानमुच्यते (tadbrahmadhyānamucyate) — that is called meditation on Brahmanवह ब्रह्मध्यान कहलाता है

यत्सुखं विद्यते ध्याने (yatsukhaṃ vidyate dhyāne) — the happiness that is in meditationध्यान में जो सुख है·देवावेशकरं परम् (devāveśakaraṃ param) — supreme, bringing possession by the deityपरम, देव-आवेश कराने वाला·कथितुं नैव शक्नोमि (kathituṃ naiva śaknomi) — I am not able to tell itमैं कह नहीं सकता·प्रबुद्धस्तत्समाहितः (prabuddhastatsamāhitaḥ) — the awakened one absorbed in it [alone knows]उसमें समाहित प्रबुद्ध (ही जानता है)

ब्रह्मध्यानपरानन्दपराः (brahmadhyānaparānandaparāḥ) — devoted to the supreme bliss of meditation on Brahmanब्रह्मध्यान के परानन्द में परायण·सुकृतिनो नराः (sukṛtino narāḥ) — men of meritसुकृती मनुष्य·क्षणेऽप्यन्तर्हिते तस्मिन् (kṣaṇe'pyantarhite tasmin) — when it is lost even for a momentक्षण भर भी उसके छूटने पर·शोचयन्ति हतप्रभाः (śocayanti hataprabhāḥ) — they grieve, their radiance goneशोक करते हैं, प्रभाहीन

सप्तमोल्लासयुक्तानां (saptamollāsayuktānāṃ) — for those who have the seventh ullāsaसप्तम उल्लास से युक्त·त्वद्भक्तानां महाफलम् (tvadbhaktānāṃ mahāphalam) — your devotees, the great fruitतुम्हारे भक्तों का महाफल·अष्टौ त्रिकालज्ञानोत्थाः (aṣṭau trikālajñānotthāḥ) — eight [signs] arising from knowledge of the three timesत्रिकाल-ज्ञान से उत्पन्न आठ (लक्षण)·प्रत्ययाश्च कुलेश्वरि (pratyayāśca kuleśvari) — and the certainties, O Kuleśvarīऔर प्रत्यय (निश्चय), हे कुलेश्वरि·अष्टावस्थाश्च कम्पाद्या (aṣṭāvasthāśca kampādyā) — and the eight states beginning with tremblingऔर कम्प आदि आठ अवस्थाएँ·जायन्ते नात्र संशयः (jāyante nātra saṃśayaḥ) — arise, there is no doubt of itउत्पन्न होती हैं, सन्देह नहीं

बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन (bahunātra kimuktena) — what use is much said hereयहाँ अधिक कहने से क्या·अणिमाद्यष्टसिद्धयः (aṇimādyaṣṭasiddhayaḥ) — the eight siddhis beginning with aṇimāअणिमा आदि आठ सिद्धियाँ·प्रतीहारिपदं प्राप्ताः (pratīhāripadaṃ prāptāḥ) — having attained the rank of door-keepersप्रतीहारी (द्वारपाल) पद पाकर·सेवन्ते मन्दिरं चिरम् (sevante mandiraṃ ciram) — long wait upon his houseचिरकाल उसके मन्दिर की सेवा करती हैं

ये गुणाः परमेशस्य (ye guṇāḥ parameśasya) — the qualities of the supreme Lordपरमेश के जो गुण हैं·पञ्चवक्त्रतनोः शुभाः (pañcavaktratanoḥ śubhāḥ) — the auspicious ones, of him whose body has five facesपंचमुख देह वाले के शुभ (गुण)·ते गुणाः कुलतत्त्वज्ञे (te guṇāḥ kulatattvajñe) — those qualities are in the knower of the Kula truthवे गुण कुलतत्त्वज्ञ में हैं·तत्त्वज्ञानसमाहृताः (tattvajñānasamāhṛtāḥ) — gathered by the knowledge of the truthतत्त्वज्ञान से संग्रहीत

आरम्भस्तरुणश्चैव (ārambhastaruṇaścaiva) — ārambha and taruṇaआरम्भ और तरुण·यौवनं प्रौढमेव च (yauvanaṃ prauḍhameva ca) — yauvana and prauḍhaयौवन और प्रौढ़·तदन्तो जाग्रदित्युक्तः (tadanto jāgradityuktaḥ) — tadanta — these are called the waking stateतदन्त — ये जाग्रत कहे गए·चोन्मनाः स्वप्न उच्यते (conmanāḥ svapna ucyate) — and unmanā is called the dream stateऔर उन्मना स्वप्न कहलाता है

अनवस्था सुषुप्तिः स्याद् (anavasthā suṣuptiḥ syād) — anavasthā is deep sleepअनवस्था सुषुप्ति है·अवस्थात्रयसंयुता (avasthātrayasaṃyutā) — joined with the three statesतीन अवस्थाओं से युक्त·सप्तोल्लासञ्च यो वेत्ति (saptollāsañca yo vetti) — one who knows the seven ullāsasजो सात उल्लास जानता है·स मुक्तः स च कौलिकः (sa muktaḥ sa ca kaulikaḥ) — he is liberated, and he is the Kaulikaवह मुक्त है, और वह कौलिक है

प्रवृत्ते भैरवीचक्रे (pravṛtte bhairavīcakre) — when the Bhairavī-cakra has begunभैरवी-चक्र प्रवृत्त होने पर·सर्वे वर्णा द्विजातयः (sarve varṇā dvijātayaḥ) — all castes are twice-bornसब वर्ण द्विज हैं·निवृत्ते भैरवीचक्रे (nivṛtte bhairavīcakre) — when the Bhairavī-cakra has endedभैरवी-चक्र निवृत्त होने पर·सर्वे वर्णाः पृथक् पृथक् (sarve varṇāḥ pṛthak pṛthak) — all castes are separate againसब वर्ण फिर पृथक्-पृथक्

स्त्री वाथ पुरुषः षण्डः (strī vātha puruṣaḥ ṣaṇḍaḥ) — woman, man or eunuchस्त्री, पुरुष या षण्ड·चण्डालो वा द्विजोत्तमः (caṇḍālo vā dvijottamaḥ) — caṇḍāla or best of brāhmaṇasचण्डाल या द्विजोत्तम·चक्रेऽस्मिन्नैव भेदोऽस्ति (cakre'sminnaiva bhedo'sti) — in this cakra there is no distinctionइस चक्र में भेद नहीं है·सर्वे शिवसमाः स्मृताः (sarve śivasamāḥ smṛtāḥ) — all are held equal to Śivaसब शिव-समान माने गए हैं

क्षीरेण सहितं तोयं (kṣīreṇa sahitaṃ toyaṃ) — water mixed with milkदूध में मिला जल·क्षीरमेव यथा भवेत् (kṣīrameva yathā bhavet) — becomes milk itselfजैसे दूध ही हो जाता है·तथा श्रीचक्रमध्ये तु (tathā śrīcakramadhye tu) — so in the midst of the Śrīcakraवैसे श्रीचक्र के मध्य में·जातिभेदो न विद्यते (jātibhedo na vidyate) — there is no distinction of casteजातिभेद नहीं होता

स्वर्गादिपुण्यलोकेषु (svargādipuṇyalokeṣu) — in heaven and the other worlds of meritस्वर्ग आदि पुण्यलोकों में·देवादन्यद् यथा नहि (devādanyad yathā nahi) — as there is nothing other than godsजैसे देवों से भिन्न कोई नहीं·तथैव चक्रमध्येऽपि (tathaiva cakramadhye'pi) — so in the midst of the cakra tooवैसे ही चक्र के मध्य में भी·देवताः सर्वमानवाः (devatāḥ sarvamānavāḥ) — all men are deitiesसब मनुष्य देवता हैं

जातिभेदो न चक्रेऽस्मिन् (jātibhedo na cakre'smin) — there is no distinction of caste in this cakraइस चक्र में जातिभेद नहीं·सर्वे शिवसमाः स्मृताः (sarve śivasamāḥ smṛtāḥ) — all are held equal to Śivaसब शिव-समान माने गए हैं·वेदेऽपि स्थितमेवं हि (vede'pi sthitamevaṃ hi) — so it stands even in the Vedaवेद में भी ऐसा ही स्थित है·सर्वे हि ब्रह्म चाब्रवीत् (sarve hi brahma cābravīt) — for it declared that all is Brahmanक्योंकि कहा — सब ब्रह्म है

बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन (bahunātra kimuktena) — what use is much said hereयहाँ अधिक कहने से क्या·चक्रमध्ये कुलेश्वरि (cakramadhye kuleśvari) — in the midst of the cakra, O Kuleśvarīचक्र के मध्य में, हे कुलेश्वरि·मद्रूपा पुरुषाः सर्वे (madrūpā puruṣāḥ sarve) — all the men are of my formसब पुरुष मेरे रूप हैं·त्वद्रूपाः प्रमदाः प्रिये (tvadrūpāḥ pramadāḥ priye) — the women are of your form, O belovedस्त्रियाँ तुम्हारे रूप, हे प्रिये

चक्रमध्ये तु मूढात्मा (cakramadhye tu mūḍhātmā) — the fool who, in the midst of the cakraचक्र के मध्य में जो मूढ़ात्मा·जातिभेदं करोति यः (jātibhedaṃ karoti yaḥ) — makes distinction of casteजातिभेद करता है·तं भक्षयन्ति योगिन्यः (taṃ bhakṣayanti yoginyaḥ) — him the Yoginīs devourउसे योगिनियाँ भक्षण करती हैं·त्वां शपे कुलनायिके (tvāṃ śape kulanāyike) — I swear it by you, O mistress of the Kulaतुम्हारी शपथ, हे कुलनायिके

स्त्रीणामन्यतमं स्थानं (strīṇāmanyatamaṃ sthānaṃ) — one place for the womenस्त्रियों का एक स्थान·पुंसामन्यतमं पृथक् (puṃsāmanyatamaṃ pṛthak) — another, separate, for the menपुरुषों का दूसरा, पृथक्·अथवा मिथुनं कृत्वा (athavā mithunaṃ kṛtvā) — or, forming couplesअथवा मिथुन (युगल) बनाकर·क्रमात्समुपवेशयेत् (kramātsamupaveśayet) — one should seat them in orderक्रम से बैठाए

पङ्क्त्याकारेण वा सम्यक् (paṅktyākāreṇa vā samyak) — either properly in the form of a rowपंक्ति के आकार में सम्यक्·चक्राकारेण वा प्रिये (cakrākāreṇa vā priye) — or in the form of a circle, O belovedया चक्र के आकार में, हे प्रिये·शिवशक्तिधिया सर्वे (śivaśaktidhiyā sarve) — regarding all as Śiva and Śaktiसबको शिव-शक्ति बुद्धि से·चक्रमध्ये समर्चयेत् (cakramadhye samarcayet) — one should worship them in the midst of the cakraचक्र के मध्य में पूजे

अविभक्तौ यथा आवां (avibhaktau yathā āvāṃ) — as we two are undividedजैसे हम दोनों अविभक्त हैं·लक्ष्मीनारायणौ यथा (lakṣmīnārāyaṇau yathā) — as Lakṣmī and Nārāyaṇaजैसे लक्ष्मी-नारायण·यथा वाणीविधातारौ (yathā vāṇīvidhātārau) — as Vāṇī and the Creatorजैसे वाणी और विधाता·तथा वीरः सशक्तिकः (tathā vīraḥ saśaktikaḥ) — so is the hero with his Śaktiवैसे शक्ति-सहित वीर है

मधुकुम्भसहस्रैस्तु (madhukumbhasahasraistu) — by a thousand jars of wineहज़ार मधु-कुम्भों से·मांसभारशतैरपि (māṃsabhāraśatairapi) — or by a hundred loads of meatसौ मांस-भारों से भी·न तुष्यामि वरारोहे (na tuṣyāmi varārohe) — I am not satisfied, O fair-hipped oneमैं तृप्त नहीं होता, हे वरारोहे·भगलिङ्गामृतं विना (bhagaliṅgāmṛtaṃ vinā) — without the nectar of yoni and liṅgaभग-लिङ्ग अमृत के बिना

न चक्राङ्कं न पद्माङ्कं (na cakrāṅkaṃ na padmāṅkaṃ) — not marked by the discus, nor by the lotusन चक्र से अंकित, न पद्म से·न वज्राङ्कमिदं जगत् (na vajrāṅkamidaṃ jagat) — nor by the thunderbolt is this worldन वज्र से अंकित यह जगत् है·लिङ्गाङ्कञ्च भगाङ्कञ्च (liṅgāṅkañca bhagāṅkañca) — it is marked by the liṅga and by the yoniलिङ्ग से अंकित और भग से अंकित·तस्माच्छक्तिशिवात्मकम् (tasmācchaktiśivātmakam) — therefore it consists of Śakti and Śivaइसलिए शक्ति-शिवात्मक है

कामुको न स्त्रियं गच्छेद् (kāmuko na striyaṃ gacched) — the lustful man should not go to a womanकामुक स्त्री के पास न जाए·यदीच्छन्तीमदीक्षिताम् (yadīcchantīmadīkṣitām) — who, though willing, is uninitiatedजो इच्छुक होने पर भी अदीक्षित हो·सद्यः संस्कारसंशुद्धां (sadyaḥ saṃskārasaṃśuddhāṃ) — purified by immediate consecrationतत्काल संस्कार से शुद्ध·विहितत्वात् स्त्रियं व्रजेत् (vihitatvāt striyaṃ vrajet) — being so ordained, he may go to the womanविहित होने से, स्त्री के पास जाए

इति तत्त्वत्रयोल्लास- (iti tattvatrayollāsa-) — thus the three tattvas, the ullāsasइस प्रकार तत्त्वत्रय, उल्लास·पानभेदादि चोदितम् (pānabhedādi coditam) — the kinds of drinking and the rest have been declaredपान-भेद आदि कहे गए·समासेन कुलेशानि (samāsena kuleśāni) — in brief, O queen of the Kulaसंक्षेप में, हे कुलेशानि·किं भूयः श्रोतुमिच्छसि (kiṃ bhūyaḥ śrotumicchasi) — what more do you wish to hearऔर क्या सुनना चाहती हो
