The nibandha that settles disputed practice by weighing the authorities against each other — which tithi carries an observance when two are possible, whose ruling prevails when the smṛtis disagree, and on what grounds. Where Dharmasindhu gives the answer, this gives the argument. Our own translation, verse by verse — a work still in progress.

The First Pariccheda प्रथम परिच्छेद
The measures of time and the authorities for measuring it — how the year, month, pakṣa and tithi are reckoned, saṅkrānti, malamāsa, the general tithi rulings and eclipses, and which reckoning governs where traditions differ. काल के मान और उनके प्रमाण — संवत्सर, मास, पक्ष और तिथि की गणना, संक्रान्ति, मलमास, तिथिनिर्णय और ग्रहण, तथा मतभेद होने पर कौन-सी गणना प्रमाण है।
द्वितीयः परिच्छेदः
The Second Pariccheda द्वितीय परिच्छेद
The observances of the year and the disputes about them — which day each falls on, the vyāpti that decides it, and the authorities cited on either side. वर्ष भर के व्रत-पर्व और उनके विवाद — किस दिन कौन-सा पर्व, कौन-सी व्याप्ति निर्णायक है, और दोनों पक्षों के प्रमाण।
तृतीयः परिच्छेदः
The Third Pariccheda तृतीय परिच्छेद
In two halves: the saṃskāras from garbhādhāna to marriage, with muhūrta and pratiṣṭhā; then the śrāddha rites, impurity after birth and death, the last rites and the renunciant's rites — the longest of the three. दो भागों में: पूर्वार्ध में गर्भाधान से विवाह तक के संस्कार, मुहूर्त और प्रतिष्ठा; उत्तरार्ध में श्राद्ध, जनन-मरण का आशौच, अन्त्यकर्म और संन्यासी के संस्कार — तीनों में सबसे विस्तृत।
