Lord Skanda (Kartikeya) manifested on Shashthi (the sixth day) of Shukla Paksha in the Margashirsha month, bringing auspiciousness across the three worlds and disruption to the realms of demons.

The speaker says he had the man do a Mahabhairav Anushthana at the Sarkate Bhairav shrine inside the Kalkaji Temple temple in Delhi, starting around Margashirsha Maas and continuing till the month of Magh, going there every day; he expressly forbade doing it at home. The man told no one at home what he was doing or how — he said it was office time and left for his office, but went on from there to the temple and did everything there. He recounts the katha: when Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh came to test Mata Anasuya's satitva, she turned all three into infants by the power of her pativrat dharma, and from the grace of these three came three swarups — Chandrama, Durvasa and Dattatreya.
