Sign of divine grace: passing unaffected through a tantric akhara ground
The speaker says the first sign that a deity's Kripa is on you is this: go into a tantric akhara ground at its time — Ram Navami, Shivratri, the month of Savan, Ambubachi — where energies are being projected on one another as a show of power, and where sadhaks and ordinary people alike start "playing", crying, shouting or falling ill. If a divine shakti is with you, you cross that ground steady and untouched, not a hair pulled, even if you have never had any direct darshan. He gives his own experience: four companions in a region he calls a second Mayong were hit with tantra and reduced to dysentery and IV drips within two or three hours, while he, then very young and doing only ordinary service of Jagadamba, did not so much as sneeze. He says the shakti protects her child completely.
Hanuman's dhwaja on Ram Navami and Chaitra Purnima
The speaker says that on two days, Ram Navami and Chaitra Purnima, Hanuman's dhwaja is worshipped in a special way. He leaves the vidhi for a separate video, but says that on Ram Navami in particular one must put up Hanuman's dhwaja at one's own home.
Why is Chaitra Navratri particularly divine for attaining this Siddhi?
Ram Navami falls during chaitra-navratri, and Tara Navami falls on the same day — since Goddess Tara was the primary deity worshipped by Ram's family guru, and through her grace Ram activated his powers in human form, performing this Siddhi alongside both powers and one's family deity brings immense grace.
What temple-visit completion ritual follows the Hawan on Ram Navami?
Offer the results at home first to an idol of Ram, Narayana, or Shiva, then visit a Ram temple with incense, lamp, rice, food offerings, and a flower garland — offering Hanuman bread and attire if present, and hosting his victory flag at home.
When does the Chaitra Trayodashi fall, and what should be done on it?
The Shukla Paksha Trayodashi tithi falls on the fourth day after the Chaitra Ram Navami we observe. If on that day the Purva Phalguni nakshatra ever falls and it is a Sunday, then if Shiva pujan is done on that day and, if possible, rudrabhishek and the like performed, then many, many of our masses of sin are destroyed and by Shiva's grace punya increases. All this, the speaker says, we should keep in mind.
Can Navratri and Ram Navami puja be done after a death in the family?
Asked by a listener whose relative died on a Navratri day in 2021 whether the Navratri and Ram Navami puja should be done or not, he says one should walk according to whatever the family directs, according to the elders of the house; or take counsel with the pandit ji of your own region. How near a relative they were — there are many things to be looked at — so take counsel once with a regional brahman who knows these subjects.
When is the ayudh pujan done on Ram Navami?
Since it is Ram Navami, shastra pujan will certainly take place. The vidhi of ayudh pujan he has given on the channel in a general way. It is done before the paran, at midday on Ram Navami; it can also be done on the morning of Dashami, but since it is Ram Navami, the ayudh pujan should be done at midday on Ram Navami — after the kanya pujan and so on, at around two or three in the afternoon.
The Navami is Ram Navami, and for Shaktas the Tara Navami on which a form of Bhagavati Tara manifested.
The Navami falling afterwards is Ram Navami, and especially for Shaktas it is the Tara Navami — the day on which, according to one kalpa bheda, a form of Bhagavati Tara manifested.
Pushya nakshatra, a Sunday and Shukla Paksha fall together, and Krishna names Pushya as his own in the Gita.
Because on that day there is Pushya nakshatra, it is a Sunday, and it is Shukla Paksha. He cites Bhagavan Shri Krishna in the Vibhuti Yoga of the Gita — among nakshatras, I am Pushya nakshatra.
At what time is Devi pujan mostly valid?
The special pujan of Ram Navami takes place at midday, he says, so that is a separate matter; but as regards the worship of the forms of Jagadamba, devi pujan and the like, it is the nishith-vyapini pujan that is mostly valid, or else the brahma muhurta.
Which are the two chief nights of Bhagavati Tara in the year?
One is the night of Ram Navami: on the day the Navami of the month of Chaitra is in effect, at the middle of the night, is the birth of Bhagavan Shri Ram, and that night hour has been held to be Tara Jayanti, Tara Navami. And after that, the second night held to be Bhagavati Tara's chief night is the Chaturdashi and Amavasya of Bhadrapada. On these two days special sadhanas related to Bhagavati Tara are done in these regions.
A Gujarat sadhak performs a sahasrarchan every Ram Navami before a very old family photograph of Ram ji's bal swaroop
A sadhak from Gujarat, he says, has a very old image of the bal swaroop of Bhagavan Shri Ramchandra ji Maharaj — he thinks perhaps a photograph from his grandfather's time, an entirely old photograph — and every year on the day of Ram Navami he performs a sahasrarchan of Bal Ram ji, of the child image of Ram ji Maharaj. That condition, he says, should be within you; do it, and there is no need to create any complex within yourself over it.
Was Bhagavan Ram born from a womb?
Read the Bhaya Prakat Kripala of Bhagavan Shri Ramchandra ji, he says, and ask whether Bhagavan took birth, whether he is yonija, born of a yoni. He did not; he manifested. A divine light came there, something touched in the garbha, and he manifested in front in a four-armed form. Then Mata Kaushalya said, no, leave the four-armed form and come in the child form — and he became a child.
