कलिमल समन दमन मन

Sītā bows to Anasūyā with joy. Then Rāma asks the sage's leave to go to another part of the forest, and asks him to keep him as his servant. Atri answers with love: the one for whom Brahmā, Śiva and the sages long is Rāma himself, and he is dear to those who are free of desire. Atri has understood his greatness now, and says he worshipped Rāma and left all other gods. He asks how he can say goodbye, and Rāma looks at him, while the sage's eyes fill with tears and his body thrills. Tulsīdās adds that Rāma stays kind to those who hear his fame with love. सीता को अनुसूया के वचन सुनकर परम सुख हुआ और उन्होंने आदर से उनके चरणों में सिर नवाया। फिर राम ने मुनि से कहा कि आज्ञा हो तो मैं दूसरे वन में जाऊँ, और मुझे अपना सेवक जानकर स्नेह रखिए। अत्रि प्रेम से बोले कि जिनकी कृपा ब्रह्मा, शिव और सनकादि चाहते हैं, वे ही राम निष्काम को प्रिय हैं। मैंने आपकी चतुराई जान ली, आपका शील अनुपम है। मैं कैसे कहूँ कि जाइए? मुनि का शरीर पुलकित है और आँखों से जल बह रहा है। तुलसीदास कहते हैं कि जो राम का यश आदर से सुनते हैं, उन पर राम अनुकूल रहते हैं।
