Chapter 238·Bharata at Rāma's footprints·Verses 1–
Hearing his friend and looking at the trees, Bharata's eyes overflow. Both brothers go on, bowing, and even Sarasvatī is too shy to tell of their love. They rejoice on seeing Rāma's footprints, like a poor man who has found the philosopher's stone, and put the dust on their heads, hearts and eyes, as if they had met Raghubar. Seeing Bharata's indescribable state, even the beasts, birds and still creatures are lost in love. Guha, overcome by love, loses the way, and the gods show him the right path and rain flowers. Siddhas and seekers are moved and praise Bharata's natural love, saying that without him no one could make the moving still and the still move. Love is nectar, separation is Mount Mandara and Bharata a deep ocean; the churning brought forth Raghubīra, ocean of mercy, for the good of gods and sages.
