Chapter 239·Bharata sees Rāma and Sītā·Verses 1–दोहा 239
मुनि मंडली मध्य सीय रघुचंदु
Bharata, his friend and the lovely pair of brothers are hidden from Lakṣmaṇa by the dense forest. Bharata sees the Lord's holy hermitage, the home of every blessing. As he enters, his grief ends, like a yogi who has found the highest truth. He sees Lakṣmaṇa standing before the Lord. Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa wear matted hair, bark cloth, quivers and bows; on the altar, with the company of sages, Rāma shines with Sītā. His dark body in bark and matted hair seems Kāma and Rati in sage's dress; turning his bow and arrow in his lotus hands, he takes away the heart's burning with a smiling glance. Among the sages Sītā and Rāma shine like devotion and Being-Consciousness-Bliss taking form in an assembly of knowledge.भरत, मित्र और दोनों भाइयों की सुन्दर जोड़ी घने वन की ओट के कारण लक्ष्मण को नहीं दिखी। भरत ने प्रभु का पवित्र आश्रम देखा, जो सब मंगलों का सुन्दर घर है। उसमें प्रवेश करते ही उनके दुःख की आग बुझ गई, जैसे योगी को परमार्थ मिल गया हो। भरत ने लक्ष्मण को प्रभु के आगे खड़ा देखा। सिर पर जटा, कमर में मुनि का वस्त्र, तरकश कसे, हाथ में बाण और कंधे पर धनुष; वेदी पर मुनि-साधुओं का समाज है और सीता सहित रघुराज शोभित हैं। वल्कल पहने, जटा बाँधे श्याम शरीर ऐसा है मानो रति और कामदेव ने मुनि का वेश धारण कर लिया हो। कमल जैसे हाथों में धनुष-बाण घुमाते हुए वे हँसकर देखते ही हृदय की जलन हर लेते हैं। मुनियों की सुन्दर मण्डली के बीच सीता और रघुचन्द्र ऐसे सुशोभित हैं मानो ज्ञान की सभा में भक्ति और सच्चिदानन्द ने शरीर धारण किया हो।
