Bhuśuṇḍi goes on up the body: red palms and nails, long arms and fine ornaments, a neck like a conch, lovely chin, a face that marks the limit of beauty. His speech is soft and babbling, his lips red, two tiny pearl teeth on each side, lovely cheeks and nose and a smile like moonlight. His eyes are blue lotuses that free from worldly bondage, and the mark of gorocana shines on his brow. He wears a thin yellow frock, and his gurgling laugh and glance please the crow. The child plays many games with him, and when the crow tries to flee, he holds out a sweet to tempt him. Rāma laughs when he comes close and cries when he flies off. His palms and nails are red and lovely; his arms are long and beautifully ornamented. His shoulders are like a lion cub's, his neck like a conch, his chin lovely, his face the very limit of beauty.

His eyes are blue lotuses that free one from worldly life, and the gorocana mark shines on his brow. His brows are sharp, his ears even and fair, and his curling dark hair spreads its beauty.

शरीर पर हल्की पीली झगुली शोभा देती है। उसकी किलकारी और चितवन मुझे बहुत भाती है। रूप की राशि राजा के आँगन में खेलते हैं, और अपनी परछाईं देखकर नाचते हैं।
A thin yellow frock shines on his body. His gurgling laugh and his glance please me. The king's courtyard is his playground; he dances, looking at his own reflection.

He plays many games with me, and I am ashamed to describe them. When I laugh and he runs to catch me, I flee, and then he shows me a sweet.

जब मैं पास आता हूँ तो प्रभु हँसते हैं, और जब भाग जाता हूँ तो रोने लगते हैं। जब मैं उनके चरण पकड़ने के लिए पास जाता हूँ तो वे बार-बार मुड़कर देखते हुए भाग जाते हैं।
When I come near, the Lord laughs; when I fly off, he cries. When I go close to catch his feet, he turns and looks again and again and runs away.
