बालक राम का रूप (चरण से कटि)
Bhuśuṇḍi starts to tell of Rāma's deeds, which give joy to his servants. The king's palace is lovely in every way, set with gold and jewels of many kinds, and the courtyard where the four brothers play every day cannot be described. The Lord of the Raghus plays child's games and wanders in the courtyard, giving joy to his mother. His soft body is dark as emerald, with the beauty of many love-gods in each limb. His new lotus feet are red and tender, with nails that put the moon's light to shame. He has lovely marks on the sole, anklets that ring sweetly, a golden jewelled girdle with a sweet-sounding bell, three lines on his lovely belly, a deep navel, and a broad chest shining with many child's ornaments and clothes.भुशुंडि सेवकों को सुख देने वाला रामचरित कहने लगते हैं। राजमहल हर प्रकार सुन्दर है, सोने और अनेक जाति की मणियों से जड़ा है, और जिस आँगन में चारों भाई नित्य खेलते हैं, उसका वर्णन नहीं हो सकता। रघुनाथ बाल-विनोद करते और आँगन में घूमते हैं और माता को सुख देते हैं। उनका कोमल शरीर मरकत जैसा श्याम है, और हर अंग में बहुत कामदेवों की छवि है। नए लाल कमल जैसे कोमल चरण हैं और नाखूनों की सुन्दर ज्योति चन्द्रमा की चमक को लजाती है। तलवे में सुन्दर चिह्न हैं, मधुर बजते नूपुर हैं, सोने और मणियों से बनी करधनी में मधुर घुँघरू हैं, पेट पर तीन सुन्दर रेखाएँ हैं, नाभि गहरी और सुन्दर है, और चौड़ी छाती पर बच्चों के अनेक गहने और वस्त्र शोभा देते हैं।

उस सुन्दर आँगन का वर्णन नहीं हो सकता, जहाँ चारों भाई नित्य खेलते हैं। रघुनाथ बाल-विनोद करते हुए आँगन में घूमते हैं और माता को सुख देते हैं।

उनका कोमल शरीर मरकत जैसा श्याम है और हर अंग में बहुत कामदेवों की छवि है। नए कमल जैसे लाल कोमल चरण हैं और उनके नाखूनों की ज्योति चन्द्रमा की चमक हर लेती है।
His soft body is dark as emerald, and each limb has the beauty of many love-gods. His new lotus feet are tender and red, and the light of their nails shames the moon.

तलवों में वज्र आदि चार सुन्दर चिह्न हैं और सुन्दर नूपुर मधुर बजते हैं। कमर में सोने और मणियों की सुन्दर बनी करधनी है, जिसके घुँघरू मीठा शब्द करते हैं।
The soles carry lovely marks, such as the thunderbolt, and the pretty anklets ring sweetly. The girdle at his waist is of gold and jewels, finely made, and its small bells make a sweet sound.
