बाल राम के संग काग
Bhuśuṇḍi says he will tell of his own dullness by Rāma's grace. Whenever Rāma takes a human body and does many sports for his devotees, he goes to Ayodhyā, enjoys the child's sports and the birth feast, and stays there five years. Rāma, the child, is his chosen deity, with the beauty of hundreds of millions of love-gods; he gazes at the face of his Lord and makes his eyes fruitful. In the form of a little crow he follows Hari and watches his many childhood games. Wherever the child wanders, he flies along. The crumbs that fall in the courtyard, he picks up and eats. Once, remembering how greatly Raghuvīra played, his body thrilled.भुशुंडि कहते हैं कि राम की कृपा से वे अपनी जड़ता कहते हैं। जब-जब राम मनुष्य का शरीर धरते हैं और भक्तों के लिए अनेक लीला करते हैं, तब-तब वे अयोध्या जाते हैं, बाल-चरित देखकर प्रसन्न होते हैं, जन्म का उत्सव देखते हैं और पाँच वर्ष वहाँ लुभाए रहते हैं। बालक राम उनके इष्टदेव हैं, जिनके शरीर की शोभा सैकड़ों करोड़ कामदेवों जैसी है; वे अपने प्रभु का मुख बार-बार निहारकर आँखें सफल करते हैं। छोटे कौए का शरीर धरकर वे हरि के संग बहुरंगे बाल-चरित देखते हैं। लड़कपन में प्रभु जहाँ-जहाँ घूमते हैं, वहाँ-वहाँ वे संग उड़ते हैं। आँगन में जो जूठन गिरती है, उसे उठाकर खा लेते हैं। एक बार रघुवीर ने बहुत लीलाएँ कीं; उन्हें याद करके उनका शरीर पुलकित हो गया।

तब-तब मैं अयोध्यापुरी जाता हूँ और बाल-चरित देखकर प्रसन्न होता हूँ। जाकर जन्म का उत्सव देखता हूँ और लोभवश वहाँ पाँच वर्ष रहता हूँ।
then, each time, I go to the city of Avadha and delight in watching his childhood deeds. I go and see the birth festival, and stay there five years, held by my longing.

बालक राम मेरे इष्टदेव हैं, जिनके शरीर की शोभा सौ करोड़ कामदेवों के समान है। हे उरगारी, अपने प्रभु के मुख को बार-बार निहारकर मैं अपने नेत्र सफल करता हूँ।
The child Rāma is my chosen deity, with the beauty of a hundred million love-gods. Looking again and again at my Lord's face, I make my eyes fruitful, enemy of snakes.
