Chapter 21 · No suffering in Rāma's kingdom · Verses 1–

In Rāma's rule none suffers the three kinds of pain, of body, of the spirit, and of the world. All love each other and live by their own dharma and the Vedas' rule. Dharma stands on all four feet in the world and no one even dreams of sin. All men and women love Rāma and have the right to the highest end. No one dies young or feels pain; all are handsome and healthy, none poor, sad, or witless, or without good marks. All are humble, devoted to dharma, wise and learned, thankful, with no deceit. The dohā says that in Rāma's rule, in the whole moving and still world, no one suffers from time, deed, nature or qualities.

The three pains are those of the body, those sent by the gods or fate, and those from other creatures and the world.
