Janaka worships the king of Kosala, seeing him as equal to Śiva, and with folded hands praises him and speaks of his own good fortune. He honours all the guests with equal respect and gives each a fitting seat. Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, the guardians of the quarters and the sun, who know Rāma's power, had come in Brahmin dress to watch. Janaka worships them as gods without knowing them and gives them good seats. Everyone forgets himself, drunk with joy, seeing the bridegroom the source of bliss. Rāma, who knows all, sees the gods and offers them seats in his mind; the gods are delighted at his kindness. Then the king of Kosala was worshipped, whom Janaka knew to be equal to Śiva, with no other feeling. With folded hands he praised him and spoke of the abundance of his own good fortune and wealth.

२2पूजे भूपति सकल बराती। समधि सम सादर सब भाँती ॥आसन उचित दिए सब काहू। कहौं काह मूख एक उछाहू ॥

He worshipped all the guests, honouring the fathers-in-law equally, and gave seats to all as was fitting. What can I say of the joy, with only one mouth?

३3सकल बरात जनक सनमानी। दान मान बिनती बर बानी ॥बिधि हरि हरु दिसिपति दिनराऊ। जे जानहिं रघुबीर प्रभाऊ ॥

कौन किसे पहचाने और कौन किसे जाने? सबकी अपनी सुध-बुध भूल गई थी। आनन्द के कंद दूल्हे को देखकर दोनों ओर आनन्द ही आनन्द था। सुजान राम ने देवताओं को पहचान लिया और मन में उन्हें आसन दिए; प्रभु का शील और स्वभाव देखकर देवताओं के मन प्रसन्न हुए।
Who could know whom, and who recognise whom? Everyone had lost his own awareness. Seeing the groom, the root of bliss, both sides were all joy. The wise Rāma knew the gods and gave them seats in his mind; seeing the Lord's gentle nature, the gods' hearts rejoiced.

दोहा ३२१दोहा 321रामचंद्र मुख चंद्र छबि लोचन चारु चकोर।करत पान सादर सकल प्रेमु प्रमोदु न थोर ॥ ३२१ ॥
