The two heroes are the very limit of beauty, with bodies like blue and yellow lotuses. Peacock feathers adorn their heads, with clusters of flower buds among them. Tilaks and beads of sweat adorn their foreheads, ornaments their ears, and their eyebrows are arched, hair curly and eyes reddish like new lotuses. Chins, noses and cheeks are handsome, and their smiling grace takes the mind as a price. A jewelled necklace lies on the chest, the throat is like a conch, and the arms are like a young elephant's trunk, the limit of strength. A friend says the dark prince holds a leaf-cup of flowers in his left hand and is exceedingly lovely. Lion-waisted, in yellow cloth, storehouse of beauty and good nature, the jewel of the Sun's line makes the friends forget themselves.

Tilaks on their foreheads and beads of sweat looked lovely, and fine ornaments on their ears spread beauty. Their eyebrows were arched, their hair curly, and their eyes, like new lotuses, were reddish.

Their chins, noses and cheeks were handsome, and their smiling grace bought the mind. I cannot describe the beauty of their faces, seeing which many Cupids are ashamed.
