जय जय सुरनायक

Brahmā and the gods sing a hymn of praise. They call the Lord leader of the gods, friend of cows and brahmins, enemy of demons and husband of Lakṣmī. They say no one knows the secret of his wondrous deeds, that he is imperishable, dwells in every heart, is beyond the senses and free of illusion. They ask him to act for them because they know neither worship nor devotion, and they give up their cleverness and come to him for refuge. Hearing their loving words, a deep voice from the sky takes away their grief and doubt. ब्रह्मा और देवता स्तुति गाते हैं। वे प्रभु को देवताओं का नायक, गौ-ब्राह्मण का हित करने वाला, असुरों का शत्रु और लक्ष्मी का प्रिय पति कहते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि उनकी अद्भुत करनी का भेद कोई नहीं जानता, वे अविनाशी हैं, सबके हृदय में बसते हैं, इंद्रियों से परे और माया से रहित हैं। वे प्रार्थना करते हैं कि हमारी चिंता करें, क्योंकि हम न भक्ति जानते हैं न पूजा; वे चतुराई छोड़कर शरण में आए हैं। उनके प्रेम-भरे वचन सुनकर आकाश से गंभीर वाणी होती है, जो उनका शोक और संदेह हर लेती है।

jehiṃ sṛṣṭi upāī tribidha banāī saṃga sahāya na dūjā | so karau aghārī ciṃta hamārī jānia bhagati na pūjā | jo bhava bhaya bhaṃjana muni mana raṃjana gaṃjana bipati barūthā | mana baca krama bānī chāṛi sayānī sarana sakala sura jūthā ||

छंद ४छंद 4 सारद श्रुति सेषा रिषय असेषा जा कहुँ कोउ नहि जाना। जेहि दीन पिआरे बेद पुकारे द्रवउ सो श्रीभगवाना ॥ भव बारिधि मंदर सब बिधि सुंदर गुनमंदिर सुखपुंजा। मुनि सिद्ध सकल सुर परम भयातुर नमत नाथ पद कंजा ॥
