Chapter 91·The boundless greatness of Rāma·Verses 1–
Bhuśuṇḍi says he sang Raghupati's glory according to his own understanding, adding no clever tricks, for all this he saw with his own eyes. The glory, name, form and deeds of Rāma are all endless; sages sing Hari's virtues each as far as their mind goes, and even the Vedas, Śeṣa and Śiva do not reach the end. Even Garuḍa, who flies up beyond sight, does not find the sky's end, and so none can sound the depth of Raghupati's glory. Rāma has the beauty of a hundred million love-gods, destroys enemies like a hundred million Durgās, has the play of a hundred million Indras, and is the shelter of a hundred million skies. The dohās add that he has the strength of a hundred million winds, the light of a hundred million suns, the cool of a hundred million moons that ends all worldly fear, the fierce reach of a hundred million deaths, and the unapproachable force of a hundred million comets.

Lord, I have sung as far as my own mind goes the greatness of the Lord, king of birds. I have said nothing by clever trick; all this I have seen with my own eyes.
Verse 2

Raghunātha's glory, name, form and the tale of his qualities are all boundless and endless. Sages sing Hari's virtues, each by his own understanding; the Vedas, Śeṣa and Śiva do not find the end.
Verse 3

From you down to the gnat, birds fly in the sky and do not find its end. In the same way, my friend, Raghupati's glory is unfathomable; can anyone ever find its depth?

Rāma has the lovely form of a hundred million love-gods, and like a hundred million Durgās he crushes endless foes. He has the play of a hundred million Indras and the room of a hundred million skies.

He is as terrible as a hundred million Deaths, hard to cross like a hard fortress without end, and unapproachable as a hundred million comets: the Lord.
