बिना विश्वास कुछ नहीं
Without contentment desire is not destroyed, and while desire stays there is no happiness even in dreams. Can desire be ended without worshipping Rāma? Does a tree ever grow where there is no ground? Without realisation, can there be evenness of mind? Does anyone find space without sky? Without faith there is no dharma; without earth, who can find smell? Without austerity, how does glory spread; without water, how does taste arise? Can good character be had without service to the wise, as there is no form without light? Without his own joy can the mind be calm; without the wind, can there be touch? Can any attainment come without faith? Without worship of Hari the fear of the world does not end. Without faith there is no devotion, and without it Rāma does not melt; without Rāma's grace, no soul ever gets rest in dreams. So, wise one, give up false arguments and all doubts, and worship Rāma, the merciful, handsome giver of joy.संतोष के बिना कामना नष्ट नहीं होती, और कामना रहते सपने में भी सुख नहीं। राम के भजन के बिना क्या कामना मिटती है? बिना धरती के क्या पेड़ कभी उगता है? बिना विज्ञान के क्या समता आती है? बिना आकाश के क्या कोई अवकाश पाता है? श्रद्धा के बिना धर्म नहीं होता; बिना पृथ्वी के कोई गंध कैसे पाए? तप के बिना तेज कैसे फैले; जल के बिना संसार में रस कैसे हो? बिना सेवा के क्या बुद्धिमानों से शील मिलता है, जैसे तेज के बिना रूप नहीं? अपने सुख के बिना क्या मन स्थिर होता है, और हवा के बिना क्या स्पर्श होता है? क्या कोई सिद्धि विश्वास के बिना होती है? हरि के भजन के बिना संसार का भय नहीं मिटता। विश्वास के बिना भक्ति नहीं, और भक्ति बिना राम नहीं पसीजते; राम की कृपा के बिना जीव सपने में भी विश्राम नहीं पाता। इसलिए, हे धीर बुद्धि वाले, कुतर्क और सब संशय छोड़कर करुणा की खान, सुन्दर, सुख देने वाले रघुवीर राम को भजो।

Without austerity, how can brilliance spread? Without water, can the world have taste? Without service to the wise, can good character be met, as, Lord, there is no form without light?

४4निज सुख बिनु मन होइ कि थीरा। परस कि होइ बिहीन समीरा ॥कवनिउ सिद्धि कि बिनु बिस्वासा। बिनु हरि भजन न भव भय नासा ॥

Without his own joy can the mind be steady? Without the wind can there be touch? Can any attainment come without faith? Without worshipping Hari the fear of the world does not end.

Knowing this, steady-minded one, give up false arguments and all doubts, and worship Rāma, the hero of the Raghus, mine of mercy, handsome, giver of joy.
