Chapter 68 · From Rāvaṇa's death to Ayodhyā · Verses 1–

The brief telling goes on to the many ways the demons died, the war between Raghupati and Rāvaṇa, Rāvaṇa's death and Mandodarī's grief, and Vibhīṣaṇa's crowning. Sītā meets Rāma again, the gods praise him with joined hands, and the Lord flies to Ayodhyā in the Puṣpaka car with the monkeys. The crow tells how Rāma entered his city, the anointing, and the rules of kingship in the city. Garuḍa, the lord of birds, hears the whole story with great joy. In the two sorathas Garuḍa says that his doubt is gone and that love for Rāma's feet has come, by the crow's grace.

I was struck by great delusion when I saw the Lord bound in battle. Embodiment of truth, knowledge and bliss, Rāma: why was he troubled?
