Garuda calms his mind in many ways, but knowledge does not appear and doubt fills his heart. Tired and sad, he adds argument, and falls into delusion as you did, Girijā. Troubled, he goes to the divine sage and tells him the doubt in his mind. Nārada is full of pity and says: listen, bird, Rāma's Maya is powerful. It forcibly takes the minds of even the wise. It has danced me many times, and now it fills you, king of birds. A great delusion has risen in your heart, and it will not go quickly by my words. Go to Brahmā, lord of birds, and do as he directs. So saying, the divine sage goes, praising Rāma's virtues and again and again telling of Hari's power, wise in the highest degree.
