मामवलोकय पंकज लोचन

Nārada sings: look on me, lotus-eyed one, whose kind glance ends all worry; dark as the blue lotus, enemy of Kāma, a bee in the lotus of the heart. He breaks the strength of the host of demons, delights the sages and the good, and destroys sin. He is a new cloud to the moon-crop of the brahmins, a refuge for the shelterless, and the gatherer of the poor. By the strength of his arms he broke the great load of earth, and was skilled at slaying Khara, Dūṣaṇa and Virādha. Enemy of Rāvaṇa, happiness in form, the best of kings, a moon to the lily of Daśaratha's line. His fame is known in the Purāṇas, Vedas and Āgamas, and gods, sages and saints sing it. He is merciful, breaks false pride, and adorns Kosala. He crushes the dirt of Kali and the sense of mine. Tulasīdāsa's Lord, protect those who bow. The dohā says that Nārada, with love, told of Rāma's virtues, and carrying the sea of beauty in his heart went to Brahmā's house. नारद गाते हैं: हे कमल-नयन, मुझे देखिए; आपकी कृपा-दृष्टि चिन्ता को दूर करती है। आप नीलकमल जैसे श्याम, कामदेव के शत्रु, और हृदय-कमल में बसने वाले भौंरे हैं। राक्षसों के दल का बल तोड़ने वाले, मुनियों और सज्जनों को आनन्द देने वाले, पाप का नाश करने वाले हैं। ब्राह्मण रूपी खेती के लिए नए बादल, अशरण को शरण देने वाले, दीन जनों को अपनाने वाले हैं। आपने भुजबल से पृथ्वी का भारी भार तोड़ा, खर, दूषण और विराध के वध में निपुण हैं। रावण के शत्रु, सुखरूप, राजाओं में श्रेष्ठ, दशरथ के कुल रूपी कुमुद के चन्द्रमा, आपकी जय हो। आपका सुयश पुराण, वेद और आगम में प्रसिद्ध है; देवता, मुनि और सन्त मिलकर उसे गाते हैं। आप करुणामय, झूठे मद को तोड़ने वाले, सब प्रकार से कुशल और कोसल के भूषण हैं। कलि के मल को मथने वाले और ममता को नष्ट करने वाले, तुलसीदास के प्रभु, शरणागत की रक्षा कीजिए। दोहे में कहा गया है कि नारद ने प्रेम सहित राम के गुण-समूह का वर्णन किया और शोभा के सागर को हृदय में धरकर ब्रह्मा के धाम को चले गए।
