Vasiṣṭha goes home, pleased with Rāma's kindness. Rāma goes with Hanumān, Bharata and the other brothers, and servants, out of the city, has elephants, chariots and horses brought, and grants each person what he wants. Tired, though he takes away all tiredness, the Lord goes to a cool mango grove. Bharata spreads his own cloth for him to sit on and all the brothers serve him. Hanumān fans him, thrilled, with tears in his eyes. Śiva says to Girijā that there is none as fortunate as Hanumān, whose love and service Rāma sings again and again with his own mouth. At that time the sage Nārada comes with a veena in hand and begins to sing Rāma's ever-new fame.
