One day Rāma goes with his brothers and Hanumān to see a lovely garden, where trees are full of flowers and fresh leaves. Sanaka and his three brothers choose that moment to come: bright, good and beautiful, always lost in the bliss of Brahman, they look like boys though they are old in years. They seem the four Vedas in human form, even-minded sages free of difference. Their one hunger and habit is to hear Raghupati's story wherever it is told. The four stayed where the wise Agastya was, and he told them much of Rāma's story. The dohā: seeing the sages, Rāma happily bowed, asked how they fared, and offered his yellow cloth for them to sit on.

Knowing the time, Sanaka and his brothers came, bright with glory, fair in virtue and nature. They were always lost in the bliss of Brahman, and to the eye they looked like boys, though they were very old.

Bhavānī, the Sanakas had stayed where the wise sage Agastya, born of a jar, lived. The great sage told much of Rāma's story, like fire born from the wood of knowledge.
Explanation
Agastya is called born of a jar because he was born from the jar of Mitra and Varuṇa. The fire-drill is a piece of wood that makes fire when rubbed.
