Bharata and Lakṣmaṇa go with Aṅgada to see him off, and Aṅgada's heart is full of love; he looks back again and again at Rāma, bowing from afar, wishing to stay. He thinks of Rāma's looks, speech and gait and the way he smiled as they met. Seeing the Lord's wish, he leaves with Rāma's lotus feet in his heart. All the monkeys are seen off with respect, and Bharata returns with his brothers. Hanumān pleads with Rāma, and Sugrīva says he will serve Raghupati for ten days and then come back. The monkeys leave quickly, and Aṅgada tells Hanumān to bow to the Lord for him and to remind Rāma of him.
