धर्ममय रथ
Seeing Rāvaṇa on a chariot and Raghubīra without one, Vibhīṣaṇa grows anxious; out of love he doubts, and bowing at Rāma's feet he asks how the Lord will beat so strong a hero with no chariot and no sandals. Rāma tells him the chariot that wins is of another kind. Courage and patience are its wheels, truth and good conduct its flag. Strength, discernment, self-control and kindness to others are its horses, tied with the reins of forgiveness, mercy and evenness. Worship of God is the skilled charioteer, dispassion the shield, contentment the sword; giving is the axe, wisdom the fierce spear, and knowledge of the higher kind the hard bow. A pure, steady mind is the quiver, with restraint and vows as arrows; worship of Brahmins and the guru is the unbreakable armour. There is no other way to victory like this. He who has such a chariot of dharma can conquer even the great unconquerable enemy that is the world. Vibhīṣaṇa, glad, takes his feet, saying that in this way Rāma has taught him. शौर्य और धैर्य उस रथ के पहिए हैं, और सत्य तथा शील उसकी दृढ़ ध्वजा और पताका। बल, विवेक, इन्द्रिय-दमन और परोपकार उसके घोड़े हैं, जो क्षमा, कृपा और समता की रस्सी से जुड़े हैं।
Courage and patience are the wheels of that chariot, and truth and good conduct its firm flag and banner. Strength, discernment, self-control and kindness to others are its horses, harnessed with the reins of forgiveness, mercy and evenness of mind.

Worship of God is the skilled charioteer; dispassion is the shield, and contentment the sword. Giving is the axe, understanding the fierce spear, and higher knowledge the hard bow.

A pure and unmoving mind is the quiver, with calm, restraint and vows as its many arrows. Honouring Brahmins and the guru is the armour that cannot be pierced. There is no other means of victory like this.
