Struck by the arrow, Hanumān falls in a faint, remembering 'Rāma, Rāma, Raghunāyaka'. Hearing the dear name, Bharata runs and comes anxiously to the monkey. Seeing him in distress, he embraces him, but cannot wake him, though he tries in many ways. With a dull face and a sad mind, he says with tears in his eyes: the same fate that turned me from Rāma has now given this cruel grief. If in mind, word and body my love for Rāma's lotus feet is without deceit, then, monkey, be free of weariness and pain, if Raghupati is favourable to me. Hearing this, the monkey chief rises and sits, crying victory to the lord of Kosala. In the soraṭhā Bharata takes the monkey to his chest, his body thrilled and eyes wet, and his heart cannot hold his love as he remembers Rāma, the jewel of the Raghus.

Bharata took the monkey to his heart, his body thrilled, his eyes full of water. Love would not fit in his heart as he remembered Rāma, the jewel of the Raghus.
