देव पितर पूजे बिधि नीकी
The queens worship the gods and ancestors well, fulfilling every wish of the heart. They bow to all and ask for one blessing only: the welfare of Rāma with his brothers. The gods, unseen, give blessings, and the mothers, glad, fill their sari-ends with them. The king calls the guests, giving them vehicles, clothes, jewels and ornaments. Getting leave and keeping Rāma in their hearts, they all go glad to their own homes. The men and women of the city are all clothed in gifts, and in every house the festive music begins. Whatever the beggars ask, the king glad gives; all the servants and players are given plentiful gifts and honour. They bless and salute and sing his many virtues. Then the king goes into the house with his guru and the Brahmins.रानियों ने देवताओं और पितरों की विधिपूर्वक पूजा की और सबके मन की सब कामनाएँ पूरी कीं। सबको प्रणाम करके वे यही वरदान माँगती हैं कि भाइयों सहित राम का कल्याण हो। छिपे हुए देवता आशीर्वाद देते हैं और माताएँ प्रसन्न होकर आँचल भर-भरकर लेती हैं। राजा ने बरातियों को बुलाकर उन्हें सवारियाँ, वस्त्र, मणि और आभूषण दिए। आज्ञा पाकर और राम को हृदय में रखकर सब प्रसन्न होकर अपने-अपने घर गए। नगर के सब स्त्री-पुरुषों को वस्त्र पहनाए गए और घर-घर बधाई के बाजे बजने लगे। जो-जो याचक माँगते हैं, प्रसन्न राजा वही-वही देते हैं। सब सेवकों और बजाने वालों को दान और सम्मान से भरपूर किया। वे सब आशीर्वाद देते, जोहार करते और गुणों की गाथा गाते हैं। तब गुरु और ब्राह्मणों सहित राजा ने घर के भीतर प्रवेश किया।
