पितु आगमनु सुनत दोउ भाई
The guests see their own lodgings, every comfort of the gods within easy reach. No one knows the secret of this wealth, and all praise Janaka. Rāma knows it is Sītā's greatness and is glad in his heart. When the two brothers hear that their father has come, their joy hardly fits in their hearts. Out of shyness they cannot ask their guru, yet they long to see their father. Viśvāmitra sees their modesty and is greatly pleased. He draws both to his heart, and with his body thrilled and eyes full of tears he goes with them to where Daśaratha is lodged, like a thirsty man who has found a lake. The king sees the sage coming with his sons and rises in joy, as if wading into an ocean of happiness.बरातियों ने अपने-अपने निवास देखे, जहाँ देवताओं के सब सुख सब भाँति सुलभ थे। इस वैभव का भेद किसी ने नहीं जाना, सब जनक की प्रशंसा करते रहे। रघुनाथ ने सीता की महिमा पहचान ली और मन में प्रसन्न हुए। पिता के आने की बात सुनकर दोनों भाइयों के हृदय में आनन्द समाता नहीं था। संकोच से वे गुरु से कह नहीं पाते थे, पर मन में पिता के दर्शन की लालसा थी। विश्वामित्र ने उनकी विनय देखी तो मन में बड़ा संतोष हुआ। उन्होंने हर्ष से दोनों भाइयों को हृदय से लगाया; उनका शरीर पुलकित और आँखें जल से भर आईं। फिर वे वहाँ चले जहाँ दशरथ ठहरे थे, मानो प्यासे को सरोवर मिल गया हो। राजा ने मुनि को पुत्रों सहित आते देखा तो वे आनन्द के समुद्र में उठकर थाह लेते-से चले।

Seeing their own lodgings, the guests found every pleasure of the gods easy to get. No one knew anything of this splendour; they all just praised Janaka.

रघुनाथ ने सीता की महिमा जान ली और कारण पहचानकर मन में प्रसन्न हुए। पिता का आना सुनकर दोनों भाइयों के हृदय में आनन्द समाता नहीं था।
Rāma knew Sītā's greatness and was glad in his heart as he understood the cause. When the two brothers heard that their father was coming, joy could hardly fit in their hearts.

३3सकुचन्ह कहि न सकत गुरु पाहीं। पितु दरसन लालचु मन माहीं ॥बिस्वामित्र बिनय बड़ि देखी। उपजा उर संतोषु बिसेषी ॥

Out of shyness they could not tell their guru, yet in their minds was a longing to see their father. Viśvāmitra saw their great modesty, and a special contentment rose in his heart.

प्रसन्न होकर उन्होंने दोनों भाइयों को हृदय से लगाया; उनका शरीर पुलकित हुआ और आँखों में जल भर आया। वे वहाँ चले जहाँ दशरथ ठहरे थे, मानो प्यासे ने सरोवर देख लिया हो।
Happily he drew both brothers to his heart, his body thrilled and his eyes filled with tears. They went to where Daśaratha was lodged, as if to a lake sighted by the thirsty.
