तेजवंत लघु गनिअ न रानी
The queen says the friends are all enjoying the show, though they are called her well-wishers, and no one tells the guru this stubbornness in a boy is not good. Rāvaṇa could not even touch the bow and all the kings failed in their pride; will they put it in a prince's hands? Can a baby swan lift Mandara? The kings' wisdom is all spent, friend, and the way of fate cannot be known. A clever friend said gently, 'Queen, do not think the radiant small.' How small the pot-born sage was beside the boundless ocean, yet he drank it up and his fame fills the world. The sun's disc seems small to look at, but when it rises the darkness of the three worlds flees. A mantra is very short, yet Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva and all gods are under it; a small goad controls a great elephant in rut.रानी ने कहा: सखियो, सब लोग तमाशा देखने वाले हैं, हितैषी कहलाते हैं, पर कोई गुरु से समझाकर नहीं कहता कि इन बालकों के लिए ऐसा हठ ठीक नहीं। रावण ने धनुष को छुआ तक नहीं और सब राजा अभिमान करके हार गए। वही धनुष राजकुमार के हाथ में देंगे? क्या हंस का बच्चा मंदराचल उठा सकता है? राजाओं की सारी समझदारी समाप्त हो गई, सखी, विधाता की गति कुछ जानी नहीं जाती। चतुर सखी ने कोमल वाणी में कहा: रानी, तेजवान को छोटा नहीं गिनना चाहिए। कहाँ घड़े से जन्मे अगस्त्य और कहाँ अपार समुद्र, पर उन्होंने उसे सोख लिया और उनका सुयश सारे संसार में फैल गया। सूर्य का मंडल देखने में छोटा लगता है, पर उसके उगते ही तीनों लोकों का अंधकार भाग जाता है। मंत्र अत्यंत छोटा होता है, पर ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, शिव और सब देवता उसके वश में हैं; महामत्त गजराज को छोटा-सा अंकुश वश में कर लेता है।

'कुंभज' अगस्त्य ऋषि हैं, जो घड़े से जन्मे और जिन्होंने समुद्र पी लिया, ऐसा कहा जाता है।
