Chapter 200·Those who turn from Rāma·Verses 1–दोहा 200
रघुपति बिमुख जतन कर कोरी
Rāma, father and mother of the world, gives joy to the people of Kosala. Śiva tells Pārvatī what state those reach who love Raghunātha's feet. Those who turn away from Rāma may try in crores of ways, but who can free them from the bonds of the world? Even Māyā, who holds all beings in her power, speaks in fear before the Lord, who makes her dance with the play of his eyebrows. Leaving such a Lord, whom should one worship? One should give up cleverness in mind, deed and word and worship him, and he will show grace. So the Lord plays as a child, rocked in his mother's lap and cradle, and Kausalyā, drowned in love, does not notice day and night.राम, जगत के पिता और माता, कोसलपुर के निवासियों को सुख देते हैं। शिव पार्वती से कहते हैं कि जिन्होंने रघुनाथ के चरणों में प्रीति मानी, उनकी गति यह है। जो राम से विमुख हैं वे करोड़ों यत्न करें तो भी संसार के बंधन से उन्हें कौन छुड़ा सकता है? जो माया सब चर-अचर जीवों को अपने वश में रखती है, वह भी प्रभु के सामने भयभीत होकर बोलती है; प्रभु भौंहों के इशारे से उसे नचाते हैं। ऐसे प्रभु को छोड़कर और किसे भजा जाए? मन, कर्म और वचन से चतुराई छोड़कर भजो तो रघुराई कृपा करेंगे। इस प्रकार प्रभु शिशु-लीला करते हैं; माता कभी उन्हें गोद में झुलाती हैं, कभी पालने में, और प्रेम में डूबी कौसल्या को रात-दिन बीतने का पता नहीं चलता।

Those who turn away from Raghupati may try in crores of ways, but who can free them from the bonds of the world? Māyā, who holds all living things, moving and still, in her power, speaks in fear before the Lord.

प्रभु भौंहों के विलास से उसे नचाते हैं। कहो, ऐसे प्रभु को छोड़कर और किसे भजा जाए? मन, कर्म और वचन से चतुराई छोड़कर भजो, तो रघुराई कृपा करेंगे।
He makes her dance with the play of his eyebrows. Tell me, leaving such a Lord, whom should we worship? Give up cleverness in mind, deed and word and worship him, and Raghurāī will show grace.

इस प्रकार प्रभु ने शिशु-लीला की और सब नगरवासियों को सुख दिया। कभी माता उन्हें गोद में लेकर हिलाती-दुलारती, कभी पालने में लिटाकर झुलाती थीं।
In this way the Lord played as a child and gave joy to all the city's people. Sometimes his mother took him on her lap and rocked him, sometimes put him in the cradle and swung it.

प्रेम में मग्न कौसल्या रात-दिन बीतते नहीं जानती थीं। पुत्र के स्नेह के वश माता उनकी बाल-लीलाओं का गान करती थीं।
Kausalyā, drowned in love, did not notice night and day go by. Bound by love for her son, she sang of his childhood deeds.
