In the Himalaya there is a very holy cave, with the Gaṅgā flowing beside it. The sage Nārada found the hermitage lovely and his mind was drawn to it. Looking at the mountain, river and forest, he felt deep love for Ramā's lord, and remembering Hari, the force of the old curse was held back, and his clear mind sank into meditation. Seeing his state, Indra was afraid and called Kāma, the god of love. 'Go with your helpers, for my sake.' Kāma set out gladly. Indra feared that the sage wanted his city. People who are lustful and greedy fear everyone, like a crafty crow. A dog with a bone fears the lion would take it, and the lord of the gods feels no shame in the same way.
