Chapter 109·Pārvatī begs to be taught·Verses 1–
If Rāma is beyond desire and all-pervading Lord, explain it to me, Lord. Take me for ignorant and do not keep anger in your heart; do whatever removes my delusion. I saw Rāma's greatness in the forest, so frightened that I did not tell you; yet my dull mind got no understanding, and I got the fruit of it fully. Even now I have some doubt in my mind: show me mercy, I beg you with folded hands. Lord, you instructed me in many ways before; understand that and do not be angry. That delusion is gone now, and I have a liking for the story of Rāma. Tell the holy tale of Rāma's virtues, you who wear the king of serpents as an ornament and are lord of the gods. With head on the ground, holding your feet, I beg with folded hands: tell the pure glory of Raghubara, squeezing out the final meaning of the Vedas.

'If there is one who is beyond desire, all-pervading and mighty, explain that to me, Lord. Take me for ignorant and do not keep anger in your heart; do whatever will remove my delusion.
