गुरतिय पद बंदे
The two brothers bow at the feet of the teacher's wife and the brāhmaṇ women who came with her. They honour all as they would Gaṅgā and Gaurī, and the women bless them gladly in gentle words. Taking Sumitrā's feet, they go to her lap, as if a poor man had met riches. Then the two brothers fall at their mothers' feet, every limb overcome with love. The mothers clasp them with great love and bathe them with the water of affection from their eyes. The joy and grief of that time cannot be told, like a mute describing a taste. After meeting the mothers, Rāma asks the teacher to set out. The townspeople, with the sage's leave, come down looking for water and land. After meeting his mothers with his brother, Raghurāja asked the teacher to set out. The townspeople, getting the sage's leave, came down, looking for water and land.
