Jaṭāyu gives up his vulture body and takes Hari's form, with many ornaments and yellow cloth, dark, four-armed and broad. With tears in his eyes he praises Rāma in verse. He praises Rāma as the form beyond comparison, with and without qualities, who breaks Rāvaṇa's arms and adorns the earth with his arrows. He sings of his limitless strength, the unborn and the unseen, bringer of joy to saints, and the destroyer of lust and all the wicked. He says that the Lord, who is the husband of Ramā and always in the power of his servants, should live in his heart. Asking for unbroken devotion, the vulture goes to Hari's abode. गीध देह छोड़कर हरि का रूप धरकर आया: बहुत-से गहने, अनुपम पीला वस्त्र, श्याम शरीर, विशाल चार भुजाएँ। आँखों में जल भरकर वह स्तुति करने लगा।
The vulture gave up his body and took Hari's own form: many ornaments, unequalled yellow cloth, a dark body, four broad arms. With his eyes full of tears he began to praise him.

'जय राम, जिनका रूप अनुपम है, जो निर्गुण भी हैं और सगुण भी, गुणों के सच्चे प्रेरक हैं। वे दशशीश की प्रचंड भुजाओं को काटते हैं और अपने तीखे बाणों से पृथ्वी को सजाते हैं। उनका शरीर मेघ जैसा है, मुख कमल जैसा और नेत्र लम्बे कमल जैसे। मैं कृपालु, विशाल भुजाओं वाले, भव के भय से छुड़ाने वाले राम को नित प्रणाम करता हूँ।
'Victory to Rāma, whose form has no equal, who is without qualities and with them, the true mover of the qualities. He breaks the mighty arms of the ten-headed one and decks the earth with his fierce arrows. His body is like a rain cloud, his face a lotus, his eyes long lotuses. I bow always to Rāma the kind, long-armed, who frees from the fear of the world.

His strength is beyond measure, without beginning, unborn, unseen, one, beyond the senses; he is Govinda, who removes the pairs of opposites, the mass of wisdom, the bearer of the earth. The saints who repeat the mantra 'Rāma' find joy in him, and he crushes the host of wicked ones like Lust. I bow always to Rāma, who wants nothing and is dear to those who want nothing.
