Taking the consecrated water or butter at the doorway on a Sunday Sankranti or Sunday Shukla Saptami
The speaker says that when a Sankranti falls on a Sunday, or a Shukla Paksha Saptami falls on a Sunday, it is Surya Narayan's special day of grace, and since this kavach was given by him, the consecrated water or butter is taken that day standing at the main doorway of the house, where the kul deities and pitrs are worshipped, while looking at the sun. If the sun cannot be seen from there, one bows and remembers him at the threshold, goes out to see him, and only then drinks or eats it. This, he says, brings very quick benefit.
