राम पर भ्रम किसे होता है
Rāma's sport deludes the demons and gives joy to his people. Those of dirty mind, caught in the senses and in desire, are the ones the Lord deludes in this way. The examples are these: a man with a fault in his eye sees the moon as yellow; one who is dizzy says the sun rose in the west; one in a moving boat thinks the world is moving and he is still; children spin, not the houses, yet they accuse each other falsely. Such delusion about Hari has not even a dream of ignorance in it, but the foolish, ruled by Māyā, hold on stubbornly and put their own ignorance on Rāma. Those caught in lust, anger, pride and greed fall in the pit of darkness, so they cannot know him. His formless side is easy to find, but nobody knows the other; his many deeds bewilder even the minds of sages.राम की यह लीला राक्षसों को मोह में डालती है और भक्तों को सुख देती है। जिनकी बुद्धि मैली है, जो विषय और काम के वश में हैं, उन्हीं पर प्रभु का मोह इस प्रकार पड़ता है। उदाहरण ये हैं: जिसकी आँख में दोष हो वह चन्द्रमा को पीला कहता है; जिसे दिशा का भ्रम हो वह कहता है सूर्य पश्चिम में उगा; नाव पर बैठा व्यक्ति जगत को चलता और अपने को स्थिर समझता है; बच्चे घूमते हैं, घर नहीं घूमते, फिर भी एक-दूसरे को झूठा कहते हैं। हरि के विषय में ऐसा मोह सपने में भी अज्ञान का नहीं है, पर मायावश मूर्ख लोग हठ से संशय करते हैं और अपना अज्ञान राम पर डालते हैं। जो काम, क्रोध, मद, लोभ में लगे हैं, वे अँधेरे के कुएँ में गिरे हैं; वे रघुपति को कैसे जानें? निर्गुण रूप बहुत सरल है, सगुण कोई नहीं जानता, और उनके अनेक चरित सुनकर मुनियों के मन में भी भ्रम होता है।
१1असि रघुपति लीला उरगारी। दनुज बिमोहनि जन सुखकारी ॥जे मति मलिन बिषयबस कामी। प्रभु मोह धरहिं इमि स्वामी ॥

हे उरगारी, रघुपति की ऐसी लीला राक्षसों को मोहित करती है और भक्तों को सुख देती है। जिनकी बुद्धि मैली है, जो विषयों के वश और कामी हैं, उन्हीं पर प्रभु इस प्रकार मोह डालते हैं।
Such, Garuḍa, is Raghupati's sport, which deludes the demons and gives joy to his people. Those of dirty mind, ruled by the senses and desire, are the ones the Lord deludes in this way.

जब किसी की आँख में दोष होता है तो वह चन्द्रमा को पीला कहता है। जब किसी को दिशा का भ्रम होता है तो वह कहता है कि सूर्य पश्चिम में उगा।
When a man has a fault in his eyes, he calls the moon yellow. When one has lost his sense of direction, he says the sun has risen in the west.

३3नौकारूढ़ चलत जग देखा। अचल मोह बस आपुहि लेखा ॥बालक भ्रमहिं न भ्रमहिं गृहादीं। कहहिं परस्पर मिथ्याबादी ॥

नाव पर बैठा व्यक्ति जगत को चलते देखता है और मोहवश अपने को स्थिर मानता है। बच्चे घूमते हैं, घर नहीं घूमते, पर वे एक-दूसरे को झूठा कहते हैं।
One riding in a boat sees the world moving, and in his delusion counts himself still. Children turn round, but not the houses; they only accuse each other of lying.

nirguna rūpa sulabha ati saguna jāna nahiṃ koi |sugama agama nānā carita suni muni mana bhrama hoi ||

निर्गुण रूप बहुत सुलभ है, पर सगुण को कोई नहीं जानता। उनके अनेक सुगम और अगम चरित सुनकर मुनियों के मन में भी भ्रम हो जाता है।
The formless side is very easy to find; the other, with form, no one knows. Hearing his many deeds, easy and hard to grasp, even a sage's mind is bewildered.
