Hearing Rāma's words, sweet as nectar, all take his feet. 'Our mother, father, guru and kin, treasure of mercy, you are dearer to us than life. Body, wealth and home, Rāma, you are the ones who do us good; you remove the distress of those who bow. No one but you gives such a teaching; mothers and fathers are lost in their own gain. You alone, in the world and every age, do good without reason, you and your servants, enemy of demons. In the whole world, friends act for their own sake; in a dream, Lord, there is no friend for the highest good.' Rāma, hearing words steeped in love, is glad in his heart. They go home with his leave, telling of the Lord's pleasant talk. The dohā: Umā, the men and women of Avadha are fulfilled, where Rāma, Brahman, dense truth-mind-bliss, is king.राम के अमृत जैसे वचन सुनकर सबने उस कृपाधाम के चरण पकड़ लिए। 'हे कृपानिधान, आप हमारे माता, पिता, गुरु और भाई हैं और प्राणों से भी प्यारे हैं। शरीर, धन और घर, सब कुछ रामजी, आप ही हमारे हितकारी हैं; आप शरण में आए के दुख हरने वाले हैं। ऐसी शिक्षा आपके बिना कोई नहीं देता; माता-पिता भी अपने स्वार्थ में लगे हैं। हे असुरारि, संसार और युगों में आप और आपके सेवक ही बिना हेतु के उपकारी हैं। जगत में सब मित्र स्वार्थ के मित्र हैं; हे प्रभु, सपने में भी परमार्थ का मित्र नहीं है।' सबके प्रेम-रस में डूबे वचन सुनकर रघुनाथ हृदय में प्रसन्न हुए। आज्ञा पाकर सब अपने-अपने घर गए और प्रभु की सुहावनी बातें कहते रहे। दोहे में शिव कहते हैं: हे उमा, अयोध्या के स्त्री-पुरुष कृतार्थ रूप हैं, जहाँ सच्चिदानन्दघन ब्रह्म रघुनायक राजा हैं।
