All the brothers serve Rāma in agreement and love his feet more every day. They look at his lotus face, wishing he would say something to them. Rāma loves his brothers and teaches them the ways of good conduct. The people of the city are happy and have all the joys the gods long for. Day and night they pray to Brahmā for love at Rāma's feet. Sītā bore two lovely sons, Lava and Kuśa, whom the Vedas and Purāṇas have sung. Both are victors, humble, houses of virtue, like Hari's own image. Each of the other brothers also had two sons, abundant in form, virtue and good nature. The dohā says Rāma is beyond knowledge, speech and the senses, unborn, beyond Māyā and the qualities, yet does these noble human things.सब भाई अनुकूल रहकर राम की सेवा करते हैं और उनके चरणों में उनकी प्रीति बहुत बढ़ी हुई है। वे प्रभु का मुख-कमल देखते रहते हैं कि कभी कृपालु हमसे कुछ कहें। राम भाइयों पर प्रीति करते हैं और उन्हें तरह-तरह की नीति सिखाते हैं। नगर के लोग प्रसन्न रहते हैं और सब देवताओं को दुर्लभ भोग भोगते हैं। दिन-रात वे ब्रह्मा से मनाते हैं कि राम के चरणों में प्रेम हो। सीता ने दो सुन्दर पुत्र जन्मे, लव और कुश, जिन्हें वेद और पुराणों ने गाया है। दोनों विजयी, विनयी, गुणों के मन्दिर और ऐसे सुन्दर हैं जैसे हरि का प्रतिबिम्ब हों। बाकी सब भाइयों के भी दो-दो पुत्र हुए, जो रूप, गुण और शील में बहुत बढ़े-चढ़े थे। दोहे में कहा गया है कि जो ज्ञान, वाणी और इन्द्रियों से परे, अजन्मा, माया और गुणों से पार है, वही सच्चिदानन्दघन राम मनुष्यों के उदार चरित करता है।

सब भाई अनुकूल होकर सेवा करते थे और राम के चरणों में उनकी प्रीति बहुत बढ़ गई थी। वे प्रभु का मुख-कमल देखते रहते थे कि कभी कृपालु हमसे कुछ कहें।
All the brothers served him in agreement, and their love for Rāma's feet grew greater. They kept looking at the Lord's lotus face, hoping the merciful one would say something to them.

२2राम करहिं भ्रातन्ह पर प्रीती। नाना भाँति सिखावहिं नीती ॥हरषित रहहिं नगर के लोगा। करहिं सकल सुर दुर्लभ भोगा ॥

वे दिन-रात ब्रह्मा से मनाते थे कि रघुवीर के चरणों में प्रेम हो। सीता ने दो सुन्दर पुत्र जन्मे, लव और कुश, जिनका वेद-पुराणों ने गान किया है।
Day and night they prayed to Brahmā to give them love for Raghubīra's feet. Sītā bore two lovely sons, Lava and Kuśa, whom the Vedas and Purāṇas have sung.

४4दोउ बिजई बिनई गुन मंदिर। हरि प्रतिबिंब मनहुँ अति सुंदर ॥दुइ दुइ सुत सब भ्रातन्ह केरे। भए रूप गुन सील घनेरे ॥

दोनों विजयी, विनयी और गुणों के मन्दिर थे, जैसे हरि का अत्यन्त सुन्दर प्रतिबिम्ब हों। सब भाइयों के भी दो-दो पुत्र हुए, जो रूप, गुण और शील में बहुत बढ़े-चढ़े थे।
Both were victors, humble and houses of virtue, like Hari's very beautiful reflection. Each of the other brothers had two sons as well, full of beauty, virtue and good nature.

दोहा २५दोहा 25ग्यान गिरा गोतीत अज माया मन गुन पार।सोइ सच्चिदानंद घन कर नर चरित उदार ॥ २५ ॥

जो ज्ञान, वाणी और इन्द्रियों से परे है, अजन्मा है, माया और गुणों से पार है, वही सत्-चित्-आनन्द का घन राम मनुष्य के उदार चरित करता है।
He is beyond knowledge, speech and the senses, unborn, beyond Māyā and the qualities. He is the dense mass of truth, mind and bliss; yet he does these noble acts as a man.
