Chapter 114·Bhuśuṇḍi at his hermitage·Verses 1–दोहा 114(ख)
भुशुंडि का आश्रम
The sage promises that time, deed, quality, flaw and nature will never trouble him; he will know the many mysteries of Rāma, hidden and plain, and the old tales, without toil; his love for Rāma's feet will be new every day; and whatever he wishes in his mind, by Hari's grace nothing will be hard to get. Hearing this, a deep voice of Brahman came from the sky: "so be it; this man is my devotee in thought, word and deed." Bhuśuṇḍi was glad, steeped in love, and all doubts left. He bowed again and again at the sage's feet, took leave, and came glad to this hermitage, having got a rare boon by the Lord's grace. Living here, he says, twenty-seven ages have passed; he always sings Raghupati's virtues, and wise birds listen with respect. Whenever Raghuvīra takes a human body for his devotees, he goes to Rāma's city and enjoys the child's play, then returns with the child form in his heart. He has told all, including how he got a crow's body. The dohās end: this body is dear to him because of love for Rāma's feet; he saw his Lord and his doubts went. He held on to the side of devotion and got the sage's curse; but he gained a boon rare for sages: see the power of worship.मुनि आशीर्वाद देते हैं कि काल, कर्म, गुण, दोष और स्वभाव से कोई दुख तुम्हें कभी नहीं व्यापेगा; राम के अनेक सुन्दर रहस्य, गुप्त और प्रकट, तथा इतिहास-पुराण बिना श्रम के जान जाओगे; राम के चरणों में नित नया स्नेह होगा; और जो इच्छा मन में करोगे, हरि की कृपा से कुछ दुर्लभ नहीं होगा। मुनि की यह आशीष सुनकर आकाश से ब्रह्मवाणी गम्भीर स्वर में हुई: हे ज्ञानी मुनि, तुम्हारा वचन एवमस्तु हो; यह मेरा भक्त मन, कर्म और वाणी से है। आकाशवाणी सुनकर मुझे हर्ष हुआ; प्रेम में मग्न मेरे सब संशय चले गए। विनती करके और मुनि की आज्ञा पाकर, चरणकमलों में बार-बार सिर नवाकर मैं हर्ष सहित इस आश्रम में आया; प्रभु की कृपा से दुर्लभ वर पाया। यहाँ रहते मुझे सत्ताईस कल्प बीत गए। मैं सदा रघुपति के गुण गाता हूँ और चतुर पक्षी आदर से सुनते हैं। जब-जब अवधपुरी में रघुवीर भक्तों के हित मनुष्य का शरीर धरते हैं, तब-तब मैं राम के पुर जाकर रहता और शिशु-लीला देखकर सुख पाता हूँ; फिर शिशु रूप को हृदय में रखकर अपने आश्रम लौट आता हूँ। जिस कारण मुझे कौए की देह मिली, वह सब कथा मैंने आपको सुनाई। दोहे: इसी कारण यह शरीर मुझे प्रिय हुआ कि राम के चरणों में नेह है; मैंने अपने प्रभु के दर्शन पाए और सब संदेह गए। भक्ति पक्ष का हठ करके रहा, महामुनि का शाप पाया; पर मुनि को भी दुर्लभ वर पाया, देखो भजन का प्रताप।

काल, कर्म, गुण, दोष और स्वभाव: इनसे कोई दुख तुम्हें कभी नहीं व्यापेगा। राम के अनेक सुन्दर रहस्य, गुप्त और प्रकट, और पुराने इतिहास भी तुम जान जाओगे।

तुम बिना श्रम के वह सब जान जाओगे और राम के चरणों में नित नया स्नेह रहेगा। जो इच्छा तुम मन में करोगे, हरि की कृपा से कुछ भी तुम्हारे लिए दुर्लभ नहीं होगा।
You will know all that without toil, and have new love every day for Rāma's feet. Whatever wish you make in your mind, by Hari's grace nothing will be hard for you.

Hearing the sage's blessing, steady-minded one, a deep voice of Brahman came from the sky: "So be it, wise sage, your word; this one is my devotee in deed, mind and speech."

आकाशवाणी सुनकर मुझे हर्ष हुआ। प्रेम में मग्न मेरे सब संशय चले गए। विनती करके और मुनि की आज्ञा पाकर मैंने बार-बार उनके चरणकमलों में सिर नवाया।
Hearing the voice from the sky, I was glad. Lost in love, all my doubts went. I made my prayer, got the sage's leave, and bowed again and again at his lotus feet.

तब-तब मैं जाकर राम के पुर में रहता और उनकी शिशु-लीला देखकर सुख पाता हूँ। फिर शिशु रूप को हृदय में रखकर, हे खगराज, अपने आश्रम लौट आता हूँ।
then I go and live in Rāma's city and take joy in watching his child-sport. Then, keeping the child form in my heart, I return, Lord of birds, to my own hermitage.
