Vibhīṣaṇa says that as long as Raghunātha, with bow, arrows and quiver at his waist, does not live in the heart, so long many faults live there: greed, delusion, envy, pride and conceit. Attachment is a young dark night, and love and hate are the owls that thrive in it. They stay in the mind as long as the sun of the Lord's glory has not risen. 'Now I am well, my heavy fears gone, seeing your lotus feet. Kind Lord, to the one on whom you are kind, the three kinds of worldly pain do not come. I am a demon, very low by nature, and never did a good act. Yet the Lord whose form the sages could not reach in meditation, gladly pressed me to his heart.' The dohā: 'Oh, my fortune is endless, by the grace of Rāma, a heap of joy.
