Sītā is satisfied by Hanumān's words, full of devotion, glory and strength. Knowing him dear to Rāma, she blesses him: may he be a store of strength and good conduct, ageless and deathless, and a treasure of virtues; may Raghunāyaka show him great favour. Hearing 'May the Lord be kind', Hanumān is lost in deep love. He bows his head again and again and says with folded hands that he is fulfilled now, for her blessing never fails. He then says he is very hungry and has seen lovely fruit trees. She warns him that fierce demons guard the grove. He is not afraid of them, if she is pleased.
