Mandodarī says Rāma's feet are the nether worlds and his head is Brahmā's world, and the other worlds rest in his other limbs. The play of his eyebrows is terrible Time, his eyes are the sun, and his hair the clouds. The Aśvins are his nose, night and day are his blinking, the ten directions his ears, and the wind his breath. His lips are greed, his teeth Yama, his laughter illusion, his arms the guardians of the quarters. His mouth is fire and his tongue is Varuṇa. His hair is the plant life of the earth, his bones mountains, his veins rivers. The sea is his belly, and hells are the lowest parts of him. Ego is Śiva, reason Brahmā, mind the moon. अहंकार शिव है, बुद्धि ब्रह्मा है, मन चन्द्रमा है और चित्त महान है। भगवान राम मनुष्य के रूप में सब चराचर में बसने वाले हैं।
Ego is Śiva, reason is Brahmā, mind is the moon, and thought is the Great One. Rāma, the Lord, lives in the form of all that moves and does not move, in the shape of man.
