The airship soon reaches the very lovely Daṇḍaka forest, where Rāma goes to the dwellings of Agastya and the other great sages. Taking the blessings of all the sages, the Lord of the world comes to Citrakūṭa, satisfies the sages there, and the bright airship goes on. Then Rāma shows Jānakī the lovely Yamunā, which takes away the sins of the Kali age. Next he shows the holy Gaṅgā and tells Sītā to bow to it. 'Now see Prayāga, lord of holy places; at its sight sins of crores of births flee. See also the highly pure Veṇī, remover of sorrow and the ladder to Hari's world.' 'And now see the very holy city of Ayodhyā, which destroys the three kinds of suffering, the disease of life.' With Sītā the merciful one bowed to Ayodhyā, his eyes full, his body bristling, again and again glad. सब ऋषियों से आशीर्वाद पाकर जगदीश चित्रकूट आए। वहाँ मुनियों को संतुष्ट करके निर्मल विमान आगे चला।
Taking blessings from all the sages, the Lord of the world came to Citrakūṭa. There he satisfied the sages, and the bright airship went on from there.
