मनि-बसन की वर्षा
Hearing Rāma's words, Vibhīṣaṇa gladly takes the feet of the home of mercy, and the monkeys and bears all rejoice, holding the Lord's feet and telling his spotless virtues. Vibhīṣaṇa goes home and fills the airship with heaps of jewels and clothes, and places the Puṣpaka before the Lord. The merciful Lord laughs and tells him: 'Friend, climb into the airship, go up into the sky and rain down the cloth and ornaments.' Vibhīṣaṇa goes up and rains the jewels and cloth on all. Each takes what pleases him; the monkeys put jewels in their mouths and throw them away. Rāma, with Śrī and his brother, laughs, the very playful abode of mercy. He whom sages cannot find in meditation, of whom the Vedas say 'not this, not this', the sea of mercy plays in many ways with the monkeys. Umā, Rāma does not show his favour to yoga, chanting, giving, penance, sacrifices, vows and rules as he does to pure love.राम के वचन सुनकर विभीषण ने हर्षित होकर कृपा के धाम के चरण पकड़ लिए। सब वानर और भालू प्रभु के चरण पकड़कर उनके निर्मल गुणों का बखान करते हुए हर्षित हुए। फिर विभीषण घर गए और मणियों और वस्त्रों के समूह से विमान भर लिया। वे पुष्पक को लाकर प्रभु के आगे रखते हैं, तब कृपासिंधु ने हँसकर कहा, 'मित्र विभीषण, सुनो, विमान पर चढ़कर आकाश में जाओ और वस्त्र और आभूषण बरसाओ।' विभीषण आकाश पर जाकर मणि और वस्त्र सबके ऊपर बरसाते हैं। जिसे जो मन भाता है वही ले लेता है, और वानर मणि मुँह में डालकर फेंक देते हैं। यह देखकर श्री और अनुज सहित राम हँसे, कृपा के भवन बड़े कौतुकी हैं। जिन्हें ध्यान में मुनि नहीं पाते और वेद 'नेति-नेति' कहते हैं, वही कृपासिंधु वानरों के साथ अनेक विनोद करते हैं। उमा, योग, जप, दान, तप, अनेक यज्ञ, व्रत और नियम से राम वैसी कृपा नहीं करते जैसी केवल निष्कपट प्रेम पर करते हैं।

राम के वचन सुनकर विभीषण ने हर्षित होकर कृपा के धाम के चरण पकड़ लिए। सब वानर और भालू हर्षित हुए, प्रभु के चरण पकड़कर उनके निर्मल गुणों का बखान किया।

फिर विभीषण घर गए और मणियों और वस्त्रों के समूह से विमान भर लिया। उन्होंने पुष्पक लाकर प्रभु के आगे रखा, तब कृपासिंधु ने हँसकर कहा।
Then Vibhīṣaṇa went home and filled the airship with heaps of jewels and clothes. He brought the Puṣpaka and set it before the Lord, and the merciful Lord laughed and spoke.

'Listen, friend Vibhīṣaṇa: climb into the airship, go into the sky and rain down cloth and ornaments.' Going up into the sky, Vibhīṣaṇa rained jewels and clothes on all.

Each took whatever pleased his mind; the monkeys put the jewels in their mouths and threw them away. Rāma laughed, with Śrī and his brother: the very playful home of mercy.
