नित नूतन मंगल पुर माहीं
Each day brings new festivity in the city, and days and nights pass like winks. The king wakes early and the bards begin to sing his virtues. Seeing his sons with their brides, the joy in his heart cannot be told. After his morning rites he goes to his guru, his heart full of joy and love. He bows, worships, and with folded hands says words as if steeped in nectar: 'By your grace, great sage, I am today a man whose work is done. Now call all the Brahmins, master, and give cows, well adorned.' Hearing this, the guru praises the king and sends for the company of sages. Vāmadeva, the divine sage Nārada, Vālmīki, Jābāli, Viśvāmitra and other great ascetics come.नगर में नित नया मंगल होता है और दिन-रात पलक के समान बीत जाते हैं। बड़े सवेरे राजा जागे तो याचक उनके गुणों का गान करने लगे। पुत्रों को वधुओं सहित देखकर मन का आनन्द कैसे कहा जाए? प्रातःक्रिया करके वे गुरु के पास गए; मन में महान आनन्द और प्रेम था। प्रणाम और पूजा करके उन्होंने हाथ जोड़कर अमृत में बोरी वाणी में कहा — हे मुनिराज, सुनिए, आपकी कृपा से आज मैं पूर्णकाम हो गया। हे स्वामी, अब सब ब्राह्मणों को बुलाकर सब भाँति सजी हुई गायें दान कीजिए। यह सुनकर गुरु ने राजा की बड़ाई की और मुनि समूह को बुला भेजा। तब वामदेव, देवर्षि नारद, वाल्मीकि, जाबालि और विश्वामित्र आदि तपस्वी मुनिश्रेष्ठ आए।

नगर में नित नया उत्सव होता था और दिन-रात पलक के समान बीतते थे। बड़े सवेरे राजाओं के मणि जागे और याचक उनके गुणों का गान करने लगे।
New festivity went on every day in the city, and days and nights passed like moments. Very early the jewel among kings woke, and the beggars began to sing his many virtues.

२2देखि कुअँर बर बधुन्ह समेता। किमि कहि जात मोदु मन जेता ॥प्रातक्रिया करि गे गुरु पाहीं। महाप्रमोदु प्रेमु मन माहीं ॥

पुत्रों को वधुओं सहित देखकर मन का आनन्द कैसे कहा जाए? प्रातःक्रिया करके वे गुरु के पास गए; मन में महान आनन्द और प्रेम था।
Seeing his sons with their brides, how could he tell the joy in his heart? After his morning rites he went to his guru, his mind full of great joy and love.

३3करि प्रनाम पूजा कर जोरी। बोले गिरा अमिअँ जनु बोरी ॥तुम्हरी कृपाँ सुनहु मुनिराजा। भयउँ आजु मैं पूरनकाजा ॥

प्रणाम और पूजा करके हाथ जोड़कर वे अमृत में बोरी हुई-सी वाणी में बोले — हे मुनिराज, सुनिए, आपकी कृपा से आज मेरा सब कार्य पूरा हो गया।
He bowed, worshipped, and with folded hands spoke words as if dipped in nectar: 'Listen, king of sages — by your favour I am today a man whose purpose is fulfilled.'

अब, स्वामी, सब ब्राह्मणों को बुलाकर सब भाँति सजी हुई गायें दान कीजिए। यह सुनकर गुरु ने राजा की बड़ाई की और मुनियों के समूह को बुला भेजा।
'Now, master, call all the Brahmins and give them cows, well adorned.' Hearing this, the guru praised the king and sent for the company of sages.

तब वामदेव, देवर्षि नारद, वाल्मीकि, जाबालि और कौशिक आदि तपस्वी मुनिश्रेष्ठों का समूह आया।
