Chapter 294·Vasiṣṭha tells him to make ready·Verses 1–
Hearing the story, the guru was very glad and said that joy spreads over a man of merit, as rivers go into the sea though it has no wish for them. In the same way happiness and wealth come unasked to the righteous. 'You serve guru, Brahmins, cows and gods, and Queen Kausalyā is as pure. There is no one as virtuous as you in the world, nor has been nor will be. Who has more merit than you, king, who has a son like Rāma? Four heroic, humble sons, keepers of duty and oceans of virtue! Welfare is yours at all times; make ready the wedding procession with drums.' The king said, 'Very well, Lord,' bowing his head, and went to his palace, having had lodging arranged for the messengers.

So happiness and wealth go unasked, of their own accord, to the righteous. You serve guru, Brahmins, cows and gods, and Queen Kausalyā is just as pure.
